We went twice in two days and were served by André. The food was delicious: the appetizer with rolls, the duck with risotto, the fish of the day, and the finely cut meat. We tried four desserts over the two days, and they were all very good.
André, in particular, provided outstanding service. He was able to rush to the kitchen to bring us our dishes and bring them to the dessert manager for special requests regarding gluten-free and lactose-free options.

100% vegan. Great selection of dishes even though I would appreciate more gluten free options (there are some, however just a few). I had the “Ronda Marina” which is a huge plate with different delicious dishes. I wasn’t able to finish it as it’s a lot of food, I would recommend it for two people 😅 (and I eat a lot). But we tried the pizza, empanada and the tiramisu, carrot cake and a red fruits cheesecake. My boyfriend and I had a reservation to do the tasting menu. We also decided to do the wine pairing. It was absolutely incredible. The staff was extremely knowledgeable about the wine and the food and were all so kind. The experience was not rushed at all, as we were able to fully enjoy each dish. The tasting menu consisted of 10 courses with another 4 dessert courses. Each dish was authentically Peruvian. We are gluten free and the kitchen had no problem giving us substitutions that were just as delicious. It was worth every penny and was truly the experience of a lifetime!

I had the fish carpaccio for a starter and the duck confit for my main course. I am gluten and dairy free, and they modified the duck for me without any issues. I will definitely be back!!!
Update December 2023: I went back to Awicha and once again it didn’t disappoint! The food was fantastic! The home made ginger soda was delicious. The service was great! Can’t wait to return on my next visit to Peru 🙏🏼
