Top breakfast spot!
The food was fantastic, the service was very friendly and personable and the atmosphere was very charming!
Also a big recommendation for gluten-free versions. There is gluten-free bread and gluten-free oat milk.
Gladly again at any time!

Warning: it is NOT a place specifically for gluten-free cuisine, contrary to what appears on Google
Even though there aren't many gluten-free options on the menu, the staff is very open to changes and points out anything that may be contaminated.
The salads are not to be underestimated because they are very substantial and tasty. I had the seared tuna salad with black rice and avocado sauce

A hidden gem in Alfama. Our friend recommended this restaurant and it didn't disappoint. We had the Burrata along regular bread and gluten free bread which was nice to have as a starter. Then we tried the Octopus which was the best one we've had in Portugal so far! Super tender and delicious over black risotto.
The ambience was gorgeous. There is a grapevine tree that provides a nice shade over the patio. Very cool spot to have a drink while climbing the hill. Will definitely be back.
Charming and popular, this cozy spot in Alfama is a must-visit with its bustling atmosphere and memorable dining experience.

Amazing little restaurant for a traditional Portuguese meal. The restaurant is tucked away, but is extremely popular. We got there for 7 and all the tables were already full (seemed people had been queueing prior to open). We were lucky that we didn’t have to wait too long for a table, maybe 15 minutes, but as the evening went on a huge queue started to form. But it is definitely worth the wait! I have coeliac disease, so the waitress went through what was gluten free, which was quite a bit of the menu. We had the shrimps to start, and then shared the sardines and the traditional bacalhau a bras. All the food was amazing and the atmospheres and feel to the place was very cozy. Definitely worth a visit.

The server Daniel, was very dismissive and didn’t know anything about the gluten free options. He worryingly suggested the some options were gluten free when they contained flour.
Thankfully, the manager, Nadia came over and helpfully clarified which options were gluten free.
Creative menu with fun dish names in a vibrant atmosphere, offering a wide range of options for those with dietary needs.

The worst experience we had in a week in Lisbon, unfortunately. Went for New Year’s Eve. We’re not informed that their regular menu would not be available, only their €75per person menu with very limited options. Okay, fine, we understood that was typical and since we had already made the reso we’re okay to splurge on cost for a good meal. But the second we sat down the service was dismal. They didn’t even speak to us once or introduce the menu or anything. One of our party was gluten free, but before we could tell them that, they planted a plate of the first course “bites” to our table without any cutlery, plates, drink orders or any intro about what we were being served. When we finally got ahold of someone to explain the gf, they took away their small bite, and served the gf starter much later, when the rest of the table had been pushed to the second course. Still no water or drinks at this point. Once food was dropped off they didn’t once check on us, even though we planned to order a bottle of wine after our cocktails, it was so delayed we had already been given the main course when our cocktails were coming. Immediately after dessert they presented the bill with 8% service tip included. It was extortionately expensive considering the horrendous service and overall very unmemorable food. I never leave negative reviews but it was seriously a terrible experience, especially for a New Year’s Eve celebration. I hope no one spends their money here!
A cozy gem near a stunning cathedral, featuring a lovely terrace, generous portions, and a varied menu that invites you to indulge.

CELIAC REVIEW
Absolutely flawless: food was amazing, the location is nice and the service very fast, kind and attentive. We had 2 different cod fish based dishes plus some soups and appetisers, portions were generous and the taste just incredible. Everything was Gluten free! Would definitely come back to this place and recommend it to everyone!

We have eaten very well and Alexis's attention has been exceptional. Don't hesitate to try the minced beef for a starter (surprising) and the xocolate cake for dessert (also gluten-free)

Beautiful views and beautiful setting. Starter was very tasty, but with the main course 2 of the 6 people felt less satisfied with their dish. There were some gluten-free options. Service was top notch and super friendly.
Our dishes were very good and service was superb. Three issues for some: This is a wine bar and should understand that reds should be at cellar temperature. Also, if you need gluten free options, they're few. Finally, it was very warm inside on a coolish evening.

Great food and service in a cozy, charming atmosphere (stone walls). They had gluten free spaghetti with half a dozen options for sauces. We had the bolognese and pesto sauces. Excellent! We also shared the buffalo mozzarella cheese and tomato appetizer. It was divine. The server was helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back.

Such a lovely place, and the food was perfectly prepared. We had the baked cod and chicken yakitori. Our waiter, Tanvir, took great care of us and made sure everyone knew we had a gluten allergy at the table ✨ coffee is also very good!
