My partner and I had dinner here with my parents as the restaurant is ideally located just 5mins walk from Mayflower theatre. We always struggle to find a restaurant with plenty of options as my parents are vegetarian and celiac respectively but that was not a problem at La Tavernetta. The owner took personally tended to our table and his service was so pleasant and charming, it was lovely to hear about the history of this family owned business. The full breakfast can be adapted for a gluten free diet which was absolutely delicious. The breakfasts are cooked fresh and presentation is superb.
The staff are so so friendly, especially Stuart the owner. The atmosphere is just fab. The cafe is spotlessly clean too.
