I go here several times a week. Chili Avocado Toast on GF bread is a go to. Vegan scramble is great, too. Don’t miss out on the dirty lemonade! This is a great little local cafe with gf options available. I don’t have such a severe issue that I need to worry about cross contamination, so I can’t say that it’s celiac safe, but it works for me!

Bywater Bakery made the cakes for our wedding, and they were outstanding. We had a traditional Chantilly cake and a chocolate Chantilly cake with strawberries, both of which were delicious. The owner, Chaya, sat with us herself to design the cake and made us feel right at home in the bakery. They also made sure to add gluten free and vegan cupcakes for our guests with dietary restrictions. I LOVE this restaurant! 😋 Most delicious gluten free fried catfish I've ever had. Cheese grits on point. Praline bacon 🥓 was divine. Service was impeccable. The restaurant has the perfect NOLA atmosphere and there's lots of cute things to walk to after your meal. I went there twice in two days because I loved it so much. In fact, I smuggled my leftover catfish back on the airplane ✈️ home because it was too good to waste! I will be back anytime I'm in New Orleans, bet.
