We were in town for our 10th Wedding Anniversary and this was the place I was most excited to visit. Our waiter , James, was amazing. I appreciated the attention to my husband's gluten allergy throughout the meal. The meal was paced perfectly and the food was very good. I also highly recommend the coconut cake! We heard about FIG after arriving in Charleston and we’re blessed enough to be able to get reservations late. Although we were seated at 10 PM, our server, Drew was just as attentive and patient as if it were the beginning of the evening. One of our friends has a very restrictive diet – no gluten, no dairy.Drew went through the entire menu and was able to accommodate 3/4 of the menu along with the chef’s recommendations to suit our friend. We cook and have eaten at some of the best restaurants in the country and found FIG to be TOP TIER ! The ricotta gnocchi with lamb bolognese was absolutely outstanding. The Brioche crusted flounder was probably the best piece of fish I’ve ever put in my mouth. The textures, flavors and seasonings were spot on. We also enjoyed Escabeche, salads, Bouillabaisse, and I believe every dessert offered ! Don’t go to Charleston without visiting this restaurant!
