I was so excited to try Mediterranean food and was super lucky to find they had gluten free options. The owner’s son has gluten intolerance so they are very knowledgeable. The food was so good and the staff was absolutely lovely.
I absolutely love the hummus here! The spicy cauliflower and raspberry green tea are also delicious. So many vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options too.
With a vibrant menu offering something for everyone, this popular spot is known for generous portions and a lively atmosphere.

Well, howdy y’all, lemme mosey on and tell ya ‘bout this Aladdin’s Eatery in West Chester—it’s a rootin’-tootin’ gem! I sauntered in, and tarnation, it’s like steppin’ into a cozy ol’ saloon with a fancy Lebanese twist. They got a spread wider’n the plains—over 40 vegetarian dishes, 30 vegan, 40 gluten-free, and plenty o’ meat fer the carnivores. Somethin’ fer every cowpoke under the sun!
I kicked things off with the hummus—smooth as a desert sunset, fresher’n a spring mornin’, topped with olive oil slicker’n a greased saddle. Then I wrangled me a Beef Kafta Rolled—grilled just right, tucked in a pita with tahini yogurt that’d make a steer kick up its heels! The tabouli? Zesty as a buckin’ bronco, with parsley and lemon ridin’ together like partners on the trail. And them smoothies—tried the Tropical Storm, and I reckon it’s sweeter’n a tumbleweed breeze!
The folks workin’ there? Friendlier’n a campfire chat, quick as a rattlesnake too! Place is cleaner’n a freshly scrubbed chuck wagon, vibes are finer’n a fiddle tune, and the prices won’t leave ya skint—worth every darn dime. Aladdin’s Eatery in West Chester’s my new stompin’ ground. Five stars, partner—saddle up and git yerself there pronto!
Expect a lively atmosphere with a crowd eager to indulge in customizable dishes and delightful drinks, making for a memorable dining experience.

Really poor experience here. Not enough training on gluten intolerance, my plate was cross contaminated and the wait was insanely long. Then we get home and my daughter starts puking. Overall not impressed. The manager offered me a gift card but I seriously doubt that I will ever go back.

Zhug oozes warmth and class, and is probably my favorite of Doug Katz's restaurant ventures. Like his other recent restaurants, it's best enjoyed as a tapas adventure with friends. Unlike his other ventures, they unfortunately are too cool for reservations. There's usually a couple spots open at the bar for the taking, but come with any more than 4 people and your wait on a busy night may be upwards of an hour. If you're lucky, you can find street parking in front on Cedar (free since COVID days), or park in the old Dave's grocery lot across the street (also free).
The dim lighting allows candlelight, plush pillows, and verdant greenery to dominate the atmosphere. The staff are entirely the opposite of the standoffish lot you might imagine would work here - every person we've encountered has been friendly and incredibly accommodating. Also accommodating is the menu, which is vegetarian, gluten-free, and vegan friendly. Although they do have high chairs and children are welcome, it's not an ideal place to bring little rowdy ones since there's quite a bit of glassware and candles, not to mention tight quarters. Two gender-neutral bathrooms are located at the back and kept in orderly condition.
Be prepared to get lost in the sauce, because there are a lot of sauces and dips. A satisfying order usually consists of about 2-3 dishes per person. The usual culprits on our group's order are the Nigella Seed and Burnt Onion Hummus - paired with the complimentary pita bread, and a little dollop of their complimentary zhug (a spicy green Yemeni sauce), this provides a cozy foundation for your stomach as you await the rest of the food. Cauliflower, Roasted Carrots, and Potato Tostones are other delightful, textured bites to get your fiber in and fill up. Protein wise, I'm a huge fan of the Crispy Chicken and its brightly seasoned dipping sauce, as well as the Warm White Beans (more pleasurable than the plain name would suggest) and plump Butter Roasted Shrimp.
Their wine and cocktail menu is tastefully curated, but I've actually never made it to the desserts since we're usually so stuffed after the savory dishes.

We were visiting family from out of town, and I picked this place to eat, as we had vegetarians, as well as dairy and gluten free people, and this place seemed to cater to everyone!
The food was SOOOOOOOOO good!! I don't know what they put in the garlic sauce but I need the recipe ASAP, it's so good!!!
My kids are picky, so a grilled cheese not on good ol' American white sandwich bread was a no go, but after a small hunger strike, she ate it and liked it!
Spicy Cauliflower is a MUST, hummus plate was amazing, falafels were so good!!
A favorite spot for weekly visits, offering a vibrant menu with diverse options that'll keep you coming back for more.

The food was fantastic. We were able to have dishes that catered to all party members that had food allergies and the staff was helpful in checking to make sure our food was allergen free. There are nice tables for outdoor eating where we could enjoy the weather. Dairy free and gluten free was not a problem. Vegan diets had plenty to choose from and the portions were nice.

Efficient and quick service. Mediterranean atmosphere is laidback. Waiter was pleasant and patient as we decided. Raw juices a plus. Soups were a bit cold but flavorful. Falafels were tasty. Hummus was too creamy, not thick enough. Next time want to try their wraps. Have a variety of options…Vegetarian, Vegan, Meat and Gluten free dishes. Great selection of desserts. If option was available I would give it a 3.5 stars.
Experience top-notch service and a fabulous array of options that cater to everyone, making every visit a delight!

I have been to this Aladdin’s many times but my most recent experience was with an online order. We placed an order using the website and I went to pick it up, and upon returning home I discovered that the pint of Len-Chili soup I ordered had chicken in it. After double checking our order receipt to be sure we ordered it without any chicken, I called the store to request a refund. They were quick to get the manager on the phone and she was happy to issue a refund. I then decided to mention that I was pretty bummed, because I am vegan and this was my first dinner after a 5 day fast and I was so excited for this soup. It isn’t in my nature to have shared all that, but I felt compelled to share that even though this order item was wrong, it wasn’t going to be eaten and I didn’t want to drive back to the store to pick up a replacement. The manager I was speaking to, Kelly, insisted that she would drive over a new soup to me, without chicken. I told her it wasn’t necessary, I just wanted her to know. She was persistent and because I really was looking forward to that soup, I agreed. She showed up shortly after with a full quart of Len-Chili (no chicken) and it was AMAZING. I am a long time patron of all the Aladdin’s restaurants, but this service from the Middleburg Heights location was truly ABOVE and BEYOND. I am grateful for the amazing food, the variety of vegan and gluten free options, and the incredible team of people working at Aladdin’s to ensure that everyone has an incredible experience. Thank you!

Stopped in while driving through for lunch. The mint tea is so good! Great gluten free options. Enjoyed the lentil soup (husband had the chili and liked it) plus an entree. Food was fresh and tasted good. Would return if in area again.

Ordered by DoorDash so only reviewing food. The menu has great food sensitivity information and A LOT of gluten-free options. The online menu can be filtered by vegan, vegetarian, nut free, or gluten free. The food was fresh and delicious. I got the Len-Chili which had wonderfully complex flavors, but wasn't as spicy as I would expect something that is 1/2 chili to be. (which is preferable for me) The falafel was tasty and not dry, but mine didn't come with any tomato slices. The tahini lemon dressing was a perfect compliment to them. The Chocolate Mini dessert was tasty, but the frosting was completely stuck to the wrap and made it messy to eat. I look forward to being back in the area and trying other items from the menu!

Their food is sooo good. Its similar to Brassica, but better, in my opinion. They have more choices for toppings/sides. Meats are tender and toppings are fresh. Everything is very flavorful and they have great portion sizes! They are also vegan/gluten-free friendly which is great when you have a group of people to please!

I'm celiac, for others like me I do not recommend, as I'm still recovering from a nasty contamination from this place, even though I checked their "gluten allergy" box on my online order. However, the food was delicious before I threw it up and everyone was very nice. I'm the only celiac in my group and everyone else enjoyed their portions. Just wish they were open about not being celiac safe. Probably my bad, but still. I checked your allergy box and got sick anyways

Our experience started off very rough with the manager, Jimeal being rude once we arrived at the host stand. We called yesterday, although we know you don't take reservations we just wanted to give the heads up we were coming. She told us "that don't matter" after we mentioned the phone call, Jimeal told us she won't pull our tables together for our party and the wait will be an hour and a half. We have no problem waiting, we even came earlier because that was expected. The blonde hostess in the cheetah print stated that there would be three servers needed for our party and the hostess in green asked how large the party was, the other hostess stated 24 and the hostess in green stated "yikes" right in front of us. Since we are such a large party we wanted to be as pleasant as possible but the attitude we received from the front staff made the experience less than ideal. My sister talked to the red head manager, Alex, and she was great. She apologized for the experience we had when we first walked in and said she would work on getting us sat soon. The other manager, Jeff, also checked in on us during our wait in the lobby to make sure we were doing okay. Our experience from talking to Alex and Jeff was positive all the way through the end.
Our servers Miracle and Monica were EXCEPTIONAL and our food was great! We were checked on by them often and never went with an empty glass or bread basket. We made great conversation with them as well and made up for the bad interaction when we first walked in. I have a gluten allergy and the servers were very accommodating and made sure everything was perfect! It is a long family tradition of ours to come to this restaurant for christmas and we did not want to come back next year because of the initial experience, but our servers changed our minds and if we ever come back we will have to have them as our servers again. I just wish we didn't start off in an unwelcoming environment.

Great selection menu for Middle Eastern food, healthy gluten free and vegan products as well as regular menu. I had the kabob meal with Jasmine rice, vegetables, beans. Also had a vegetable plate appetizer with babat or similar name of an eggplant base and garlic puree product to dip the vegetables in. Certainly was different from my normal menu, but enjoyable. The dipping baba (not sure of proper title) was too salty for me. Overall good healthy selection, waiter friendly and attentive. Clean place, with a bar also
