Excellent place for celiacs! Note that if you want to book a group of 10 or more, you must EMAIL them although it says call on the table booking portal. Also with a group size of 14, we had to agree to a set menu. No problem there since the food was fantastic but the communication for this large group booking could've been better.

Small restaurant with delicious and tasty traditional menu, everything is made fresh every day, even the soups are worth the detour. Everything is gluten-free or can be, lots of great vegetarian options. Special lunch meals on Thursdays and Fridays at a discount but really good!

This is the third Escondite I’ve dined at and I’ve had a great experience at all of them! I took my cousins here for the best tacos I’ve had in Montreal and they were both very happy with their food and drinks and would come again next time they visit! Our waitress was very nice, had great recommendations and even helped accommodate my gluten allergy. I highly recommend the cilantro smash, any of the mojitos and the cauliflower tacos 😋

If I could leave this place a 10 star I would. While the food was GREAT; the service is what to rave about. I wish I remembered the name of our waitress who waited our table last Saturday - a group of 7 girls. Her attention to detail was phenomenal i.e. someone from the group was gluten intolerant but she still wanted to the tasting menu, she mentioned how it may not be completely worth it because of her intolerance but offered alternatives for the tasting menu after speaking with the kitchen - turned out to delicious. Another one of us was not drinking; so when she brought/offered us shots she made sure one of them was without alcohol! Thank you for the fantastic service!

Are you having a bad evening? Are you bored? Go see Idalgo, he will make you forget your problems. We are talking here about an excessively generous welcome. As much by the energy that we transmit to you as by the little nods of welcome which are really pleasant! The food is delicious, I particularly appreciate the use of plantains in the dishes as well as the quality of the homemade hot sauces. Not to mention the meat and the fact that there are vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. There's something for everyone, no one is excluded! It’s truly a place to discover, a pearl in the neighborhood! This restaurant has nothing to envy of a traditional taco restaurant. It's not the same league at all. I was there last night for dinner. Very good tacos, possibility of varying the flavor for the same plate. Very good guacamole. Very good value for money. No alcohol license but Corona alcohol free available. Excellent service. Bilingual. Gluten-free options. Interesting bowl options for children. My 20 month old grandson loved it.

First experience, but not the last! Good gluten-free choice, we are told that they are careful about cross contamination.... My partner had the breaded shrimp tacos.... DELICIOUS. Shrimp cooked perfectly, excellent sauce. I had their crunchy supreme tacos, or something like that. They were correct, nothing more. But the vast choice will definitely make us return.

Went twice this trip to Tremblant. Reasonably accommodating for Gluten Free. Had a burger (no bun) with a Caesar salad, was very good. Second trip for the nachos with ground beef added. Was also very good. Staff is friendly and fast. Even when it's busy we didn't wait for a table or overly long for food.
