On a Thursday evening a few weeks back, we called in a takeout order. Originally I had ordered a gluten free pizza, but Alfredo called us back to notify us that they were out of gf dough. Instead, we opted for the following: the kids’ gluten free mac and cheese (I am cheesy), a side salad (such a deal!), and GF I Am Beloved (an elevated version of the classic mac with a brisket-like lions mane mushroom/butternut squash/Brussel sprouts situation. Talk about a flavor explosion!
When we arrived, Alfredo explained the loyalty program - sign up and get $10 off your first order. He seamlessly allowed us to honor the offer on our visit. His thoughtfulness and customer service, coupled with the delicious food, made for a lovely evening. I wish there was a Cafe Gratitude in NYC because I would be there on a weekly basis for their clean eating, kindness, and good vibes! Also, I need the key lime pie ASAP.
Cozy outdoor seating sets the vibe for unique flavors and monthly specials in this spot known for its delicious and creative offerings.

I always try and remember HUGOS is ONLY good for the Churros.
Yes you can get vegan, vegetarian and gluten free there but after today I really don't think it's worth it. Service isn't great and food is bland, no flavor, lack of salsa and when I asked for salsa for 3 tiny burritos with very little meat, I get 1 small half full tiny cup. After tip , i spent $84 on 3 burritos, 2 drinks and 3 churros. Seems pretty steep for bland food and half way decent service. From now on the amazing GF Churros will be our only purchase
A vibrant spot with a beautiful ambiance, perfect for a post-show meal and a relaxing atmosphere without any wait.

The food here is FANTASTIC! It is so hard to find really good vegan AND gluten-free food. This place is on it. My wife had the mushroom bordelaise, and I had 2 sushi rolls. 100% on point delicious.
A gem with an awesome variety of delicious, labeled options, great coffee, and a cozy vibe that keeps people coming back for more.

Absolutely top tier gluten free breakfast burritos. The Mediterranean flavors of the Hiho wrap were awesome and everything was super fresh and well made. Pretty much everything can be made GF here so I highly recommend for anyone with celiacs.
Known for its electric vibe and handmade tortillas, this taco spot offers a unique experience that makes the wait totally worthwhile.

Among the best of the current crop of taco distilleries in Los Angeles. The friendly Staff have figured out the queueing system and the result is lower waiting times. The tacos are fantastic. Tacos are all corn so ideal for gluten free types. Don’t forget the hibiscus onions and a cucumber cooler. Dine in options are limited to a few outdoor tables. Prices are reasonable although not displayed on menu.
A go-to spot for a quick lunch, offering great outdoor seating and tasty plantain chips, perfect for casual dining vibes.

We recently dined at this restaurant and were thoroughly impressed with the attentive service, especially regarding my daughter's gluten allergy. The staff took extra care to ensure her dietary needs were met. Additionally, I had forgotten to request no cheese in my tacos, but despite the food already being prepared, the restaurant graciously remade my order at no extra cost. The food was excellent, and the ambiance of the restaurant was both pleasant and lively. Highly recommend for both their outstanding service and delightful dining experience!

Casual, relaxing atmosphere and delicious food with fresh ingredients - including vegan, vegetarian, keto and gluten free options. I especially love the bowls. I’ve been here several times and it’s always a nice respite from the crowds at The Grove. They also make a pretty tasty margarita! 😉

I walked from his coffee and donut shop to his taco cantina after noticing the coffee spot on my way to an interview and had to u-turn following it to actually visit. Both locations were great.
The server was very friendly and helped me situate myself somewhere else when I needed to charge my phone. They have gluten-free and dairy-free options in one, I got the pork tacos. I’m usually not a big fan of pork, probably should have went with chicken. However, the hot sauce was amazing. I bought a bottle. I wish I could afford to eat like that all the time.
Amazing flavors blend harmoniously in this welcoming spot, where thoughtful touches and accommodating vibes make for a memorable experience.

I didn't know that I have such a good restaurant right behind the corner! It's great because you can come here as vegan or non vegan together and both have great meal. The vegan menu is so good, so you can eat regular diet and order it without disappointment! My not vegan husband loved the vegan Korean chicken taco. I loved the vegan Baja fish taco so much. The cauliflower taco was also surprisingly full of flavor, I loved the cabbage and tahini dressing. The side of refried beans was fresh and delicious. My husband loved his mole enchilada, and we both loved the vegan Caesar salad. In the end we got also a yummy vegan dessert, which was gluten-free bread pudding with coffee ice cream! It was all so good! We are coming back! The staff is extraordinary nice and attentive.
To everyone who is reading these reviews about high prices, I am adding a picture of our receipt...

Obsessed with this spot. The energy and atmosphere are super cool, a hidden gem for sure. Staff was incredibly kind and our server was the best, knowledgeable about all the items on the menu, and also helped with gluten free dishes.
We tried the red salsa, yellowtail ceviche, scallop dish, Quesadillas and flautas which were all delicious. Drinks were also really tasty. Would love to come back soon! Thank you 😊
Great options for all. Gluten free, and vegan options. A bit pricey but food is delicious. The chips are the best ! Freshly baked and zested with lime.

I live near this great Oaxacan place and I’ve had a chance to talk to the owners.
First, what you care about most, the food is incredible! Delicious and prepared from scratch with a reverence for the cuisine.
But I also want to point out Tlayuda L.A. is female owned, Latina owned. And the owner has told me her mission is to make traditional dishes that taste delicious but are healthier. There are many great gluten-free and vegan options here.
I hope this review makes you want to eat here because the owners are wonderful people who deserve all the success! Stop by to support them. And,
YES! The food is amazing!

I've been searching for good pizza for years. I've been driving by this place for 30 years and never gave it a chance because it always looked closed. You should definitely check it out. I ordered my first pizza from there yesterday and it was great. Good crust, generous toppings and good flavor. It's not the cheapest but they do cater to diet restrictions such as Kosher and gluten free. Friendly staff, and it was much larger inside than I thought it would be...lots of tables to dine in, if that's your thing (I took mine to go). I will be ordering another pizza when they reopen after Passover and maybe trying some of their other dishes. Paking is a bit hectic, but a spot usually opens up at one of the meters in front or one of the side streets.
This spot boasts a unique outdoor vibe with short tables, virtual ordering, and lively music, making it a fun place for a laid-back hangout.

Went here on a recommendation & had a great experience! To anyone looking for a vegetarian, vegan, gluten free haven - this is it! I'd recommend their nachos and frozen Cococolada...plus if you come at happy hour everything is half priced! Definitely worth it and they have live music, great service and beautiful ambience! 10 out of 10!

Wow! Amazing tamales and drinks. The pickled veggies add another layer of flavor that is missing in a lot of cuisines. Also, the black beans are super savory and they spend a day and a half to make them. Vegan and gluten free menu is superb and the best place I have had in LA so far.
Cozy vibe with a delightful combo of homemade flavors and hearty meals, perfect for a casual outing or a tasty alternative to cooking.

Chicken soup 🍲 Surf & Turf Borroto were devine.
I personally love the soup it wasn't spicy the spice was on the side it wasn't overly spiced out you could feel the chicken broth and the fresh boiled chicken with slices of squash and zucchini and if you carry it to pieces with some cabbage which makes it a healthy combination that I really enjoyed.
It comes with a choice of tortilla you can get corn that's gluten free I suppose and the side of rice small portion with some diced onions on the side.
The surf and turf was definitely a big meal consisting of beef and shrimps. We added guacamole and sour cream which gives it a whole different taste. It comes with bell peppers stuffed in it and some cheese and on the side some tortilla chips that was tasty and well fried.
The stuff were very lovely and friendly we ended up sitting outside, it's a nice corner for food that tastes like homemade we were going to the Cinco de Mayo down the street but I'm so glad we ended up with the start of food instead that's definitely a plus if you don't feel like cooking and still want some homemade Grandma type of food.

Sharky’s is a staple - great-quality Tex-Mex food at very reasonable prices! Not many restaurants of this cuisine use organic, natural ingredients, so it’s really nice to see one that does. They have an incredible gluten-free selection too! You need to try a bunch of different things from the menu because it’s all good - their burritos are huge and top-notch, tacos are very flavorful with any protein (especially with the new crispy cheese option), their guacamole is great, power plates and bowls are perfect for lower-calorie eaters, nachos are the best we’ve ever had, and even the salads are REALLY good as well!! It doesn’t matter if you get steak, chicken or salmon - all the proteins are great, and we absolutely love the salsa bar after you order. Get them all and have the freedom to choose which one you like best! All in all, this is perfect to satisfy your Tex-Mex cravings - ditch Chipotle and get something way better here!
Chipotle knows how to make great fresh tasting food! As a person who needs gluten free food, it's great that they have corn tortillas or bowl options. I tried something new, sofrias corn quesadillas...really good!!!
Great quality tacos-of-the-moment, a little bit classic and a little bit not. They use canola oil to cook, not soybean (aka "vegetable"), so better quality food from the get-go, and their avocado crema is non-dairy. Most of the tacos are in corn tortillas, but not all. If you tell them you are gluten free, they will mark your order and the front of house has confidence the kitchen knows how to keep you safe. The tacos came out one at a time for each of us so no one ate alone but also the tacos weren't sitting for a long time on the table getting soggy. That's a nice strategy.
The cauliflower taco with corn and pickled onions has a dominant tang and lovely crunch. The barbacoa taco is rich and drippy, topped with thin strips of fried corn tortilla. The salmon taco was seriously blackened all the way around, offset by corn and cabbage slaw. The spicy shrimp taco was pleasantly spicy but not scorching and just yum - definitely worth going back for. All of them came with thin slices of radish and several with a wedge of limon. The crispy-not-greasy chips were salted and sprinkled with fresh cilantro, and the guacamole was light, simply seasoned and a textural mix of mash and chunk, topped with sliced Chile's and toasted pistachios.
Oh yeah, we'll definitely be back.
