Food is awesome. Detailed options for gluten free, dairy free, vegan. I love their rice bowls. Service is great unless they get real busy. Atmosphere inside is fine, outside you are in the "fish bowl". Music is loud and not great for important discussions.
WOW! I'm gluten free and ketogenic and after some clarifying, Waiter Meso nailed it!! The room is gorgeous, warm, welcoming, and with a celestial touch. Well done! Parking very close by under the movie complex; very cheap. Street parking much harder. Locals: take transit, walk, bike, or taxi. Very nice restroom. Phenomenal care by a very neat, polished, well dressed wait staff. We were a large group and they never missed a beat and humbly too back 3 entrees to tweak them for those with special dietary needs. What a great experience. Can't wait to return despite a long drive to get there.
Online/mobile pickup order came out wrong.
Ordered crispy tacos and got soft. My wife and mother in law are gluten free so this was a bummer to get all the way back to the hotel after a long day of travel and realize they messed up the order.
Advice to the people (and myself) using the chipotle app, always check your orders when you pick them up. Even if they seem busy and they staple the bag shut.
Yelp awarded 3.5 Stars and 3 Medallions to El Guanaco Restaurant- People love those delicious gluten-free Pupusas, pickled curtido (cold slaw) and red salsa. El Guanaco has been serving delicious home style food for 40 years since April 25, 1981. Locals come for delicious Soups, Fried Fish, fried Yucca, fried golden brown plantains, beans topped with sour-cream. If you want Amazing finger licking Pupusas with a cold beer. This is your place it will not disappoint.
This spot boasts fresh seafood and unique dishes like cochinita pibil, all served in a cozy atmosphere with a small, satisfying menu.

We’ve frequented La Viga over the years and the seafood has been fresh every time we have visited. I like ordering the Caldo de Mariscos (seafood soup with lobster broth) when I have the chance as it is filling but not too overwhelming and has the right amount of flavor. The tacos are reasonably priced and have lots of flavor (love the crispy shrimp and salmon tacos). Ceviche is a hit or miss, as sometimes they add too much added ingredients (mango, sauce,…) and it takes away from the ceviche.
They are celiac / gluten free friendly which is a plus.
We’ve always made reservations, and sometimes there is a short wait.
I was surprised that they did charge us for a separate cake cutting fee even though we didn’t use their cutlery/ plates/ knives.
