We went for happy hour and are immediately obsessed. $6 house margarita, fantastic. $3 street tacos, delicious. They have a community table, beautiful patio, nice music. Menu specifies dairy free, vegetarian option, gluten free, and spicy.
A popular spot that keeps you coming back for more with a tempting menu that invites you to taste something new each visit.

Delicious and nearly everything is gluten free, too. It was so good that we ate there one night and went back for lunch the next day to try some things we didn’t eat the night before.
I recently visited this delightful little taco haven nestled in the heart of Castro, San Francisco, and I'm thrilled to share my experience. 'Taco Cosy' truly lives up to its name, providing a warm, intimate atmosphere that's perfect for enjoying mouth-watering tacos.
From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by friendly and attentive staff members who are genuinely passionate about making your experience memorable. The décor is vibrant and colorful, showcasing traditional Mexican art and design, which adds to the overall charm and authenticity of the place.
The menu offers a diverse selection of unique and delicious taco options, including vegan and gluten-free choices. I ordered the Al Pastor Tacos and was amazed by the perfect balance of flavors and textures. The marinated pork was tender and juicy, the pineapple added a hint of sweetness, and the homemade salsa brought a pleasant kick to each bite. My friends tried the Baja Fish Tacos and the Mushroom Asada Tacos, and both dishes received rave reviews.
To top off the meal, we couldn't resist indulging in some freshly made churros with a velvety chocolate dipping sauce - the perfect ending to our taco feast.
The prices are reasonable, especially considering the generous portion sizes and the high-quality ingredients used. This spot may be small, but it packs a big punch in terms of flavor and ambiance.
If you find yourself in the Castro area and are craving some incredible tacos, don't hesitate to stop by Taco Cosy. It's a must-try for taco enthusiasts and anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in San Francisco. You won't be disappointed!
Sip on spicy Margs during a cracking lunchtime happy hour, then revisit for the lively atmosphere and top-notch service.

Cute small place, recommend checking for reservations first. There were 2 of us and we sat at the bar, it was still great. Great food and service. If gluten free, don’t have nacho chips even though they are corn, fried in oil used for gluten options. Highly recommend chicken tacos!
An amazing spot for celebrations with top-notch cocktails and a welcoming vibe that makes every gathering feel special.

I took my staff to Lolo for our annual holiday party. I could not have been more pleased. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly. Every staff member that we encountered was lovely, welcoming and super professional. And the cocktails are out of this world. AND the food was amazing. I have one employee who can't have gluten and one employee from Mexico and everyone was thrilled with the food. Thank you for a spectacular evening.
Enjoy a vibrant vibe with delicious bites and amazing drinks, making it the perfect spot for a fun night out!

Fantastic Mexican food with generous servings at good prices. Decor isn't fancy but service is friendly and fast. Friendly for gluten, dairy, soy etc. allergies. Specifically visit here whenever we see friends in the San Francisco area. Do not miss out on the margaritas!
The food was really good. They were super careful with food as im celiac and intollerant to lactose. They have gluten free crepes that were really good

Fantastic breakfast tacos. I had Early Bird cater for my son’s birthday party and the tacos were a hit. Great variety and delicious salsas to pair with the tacos.
The service is great, I had a small issue with the delivery time and they were extremely proactive and fantastic to work with.
For catering, they have great packages which make it easy to accommodate both vegetarian/vegan and gluten free.
Note: this location is for catering, it is not a drop in restaurant. Check them out online and you can order larger orders for pickup or delivery!
This spot impresses with top-notch attention to detail in food preparation, and their steak enchiladas are a must-try!

Visiting from out of state and was in the mood for Mexican food. I asked the waiter if they had a gluten free menu and after he went and asked the chef, Raul, what was gluten free, Raul came to our table and asked me about my sensitivity to gluten. I ordered steak enchiladas, and he went into the kitchen and used fresh utensils and a freshly cleaned prep area to make sure there was no cross contamination in my food. The steak enchiladas were to die for, literally the best enchiladas I have ever tasted. I have had dinner there two nights in a row and I plan to have dinner there again tonight!
With attentive service and a solid menu, this spot impresses visitors with its welcoming vibe and excellent dining experience.

I am visiting from Toronto, I stopped here with my sister for dinner. From the beginning to end the staff were amazing, the dinner service and food were also excellent. Chris was very accommodating regarding our gluten allergy and assured our food was safe (and delicious). Our server Ally was very attentive and did a great job taking care of us. This is a great restaurant with a good menu and reasonable prices, I definitely recommend.
Chinos is tiny, but amazing. For anyone with gluten sensitivity, (my wife is a Celiac, the corn tortillas are griddled separately from where the flour ones are steamed, then prepared on foil so they never touch the same board as flour. All the fillings are good, I recommend the carnitas super burrito with refried beans and all the fixins.
With a cozy vibe and a menu full of hearty, flavorful dishes, this spot is a must-visit for fans of bold culinary experiences!

TLDR: same owner as Franco’s Latin Table in West Portal, delicious food!
The dishes we got were awesome! The mariscada (seafood stew) was creamy with coconut milk like a curry, and had plenty of seafood. The pork is super tender and the steak was delicious and well cooked as well! A lot of the items could be made gluten free as well!
excellent spot!ots of vegan options. and brown rice. They made my vegan burrito into a bowl. grilled veggies AND soyrizo with corn tortillas. because gluten free. I ate the whole thing! That never happens. :)
I was looking for something healthy ,gluten free and a filling! This place hit the spot! The older lady working at the counter was super nice and kind! I ordered the breakfast burrito with corn tortillas! It was DELICIOUS! They have a large selection of beverages and food. Its a chipotle style business , which I love ! You pick what you want! Definitely a go to place to eat right before a long day of travels!
SUPER good vegan Mexican food. The tacos and especially the nachos were sooo good! The meats are gluten free as well.
Also Saluhall is the cutest and most fun place 🖤

Amazing Mexican food, friendly staff, helpful and answered all our questions. They were beyond patient at pointing out that they can not guarantee gluten free but showed all the food on the menu that does not contain gluten. Drinks were delicious, made fresh daily and you can tell the difference!! Would highly recommend

Fantastic value for money. Quick service, relatively healthy options (protein/ salad with your choice of protein), tough-to-beat location when you find yourself around Ferry building. The space is nothing fancy but totally does the job - safe gluten free options too
Enjoy a cozy vibe with unique local artwork, handcrafted dishes, and a memorable chocolate experience served with warmth and care.

Love this place - been following them since they were inside the MEDA space. Extremely friendly and dedicated staff putting so much care into each dish. I'm gluten free and vegetarian - they made a special memela for me without pork fat. I also got a Oaxaca Chocolate, which the serve brings to your table and mixes and pours the divinely sweet warm chocolate milk from a handmade ceramic pot into your ceramic mug. Came here on a Thursday evening after work with two friends. It can take some time for the food to come out as they hand craft each dish in a small space - but worth the vibes and the wait. They also have local art work displayed in the dining area. They serve beer, wine and lots of N/A beverages (aguas fresca, coffee, hot chocolate and more). Also highly recommend the champurrado :)
