100 percent gluten free menu, and good drinks. They have taco specials, I picked the seafood option. The tacos were good, very fancy with the ingredients. I wish I had tried the meat tacos as well. The passion fruit margaritas was also good.

Very solid tacos, great chicken tinga. Dedicated gluten free kitchen and in addition to standard indoor seating also had small outdoor seating where you could eat which is nice if you have a dog.

Discovered this place on Tik Tok by a previous guest. Placed this on my must do - to do list to come to when adventuring on my 10 day Oregon roadtrip. Very hard to find places that are “true healthy” restaurants when traveling. Stopped in solo 5-30-25 post breakfast hours but before lunch. Was greeted by Cash - SO NICE, great personality!!!! suggestions were made but ultimately I decided to have the Vegan “tuna” chickpea salad sandwich. I had already had breakfast but wanted a light lunch before going hiking. (Had kitchen cut in half for me to take remainder on my hike). Loved the bread (almost sure and hoping it was gluten free) that was toasted lightly but not so hard it was like a crouton. The side soup was a vegetable type soup. Wow! Seasonings were on point with the sandwich and the soup. Bathroom was clean. ONLY THING that had me sad was no souvenir sticker. I travel all over the US frequently and enjoy collecting stickers. I don’t need cups, shirts when traveling. Please consider getting stickers. If I ever come back to Portland area. Hands down you will have a repeat customer coming back. Thank you!!

We went with Verde Cocina as the caterers for our wedding and could not be more pleased with the decision. Literally everyone came up to us to rave above the food. Having the EVO grill there made for a fun addition to the reception and also really made people feel like they were getting the most fresh high quality food. The cocktails were grabbed up almost immediately. Our only regret there was not buying more cocktails. The first bite of crab cake we got after hours of photo taking and wedding stuff will go down as a top 5 bite of food i've ever had. the sentiments were shared by many. Verde Cocina being a gluten-free restaurant and being very sensitive/aware of dietary restrictions was such a massive relief for us and for guests. Arro(in charge of the catering) was so quick with communication, extremely personable, and made the menu selection process a real joy. He's also just a nice guy, by the time we'd actually gotten married he was so excited to say congrats. Probably more that could be said, but I would just say if you are still looking for a catering option, just contact them. It will be worth exploring.

Our team at work just enjoyed a brunch catered by Homegrown Oregon Foods. Everything was delicious! The catering manager was so helpful with the ordering process and their service was excellent from start to finish. And, everyone on our team was able to enjoy brunch because Homegrown is certified gluten free. We won't hesitate to order from them again as a team, and I'm now personally looking forward to my next visit for lunch or a take home meal.

Don’t go when they’re understaffed and/or busy if you have food allergies or make substitutions. I ordered a gluten free chicken burrito with black beans (instead of pinto) & guac instead of cheese. I clarified that it was all GF/DF. First they gave me someone else’s GF/vegan burrito. Then they remade the chicken burrito but it had cheese. The next one was GF/chicken/DF and that’s as good as I was going to get (it has pinto beans & no guac, but at least I wasn’t going to get sick eating it). I thought it was awesome that I could get a GF burrito and had done so a few times but their lack of attention to detail making my food tonight will have me rethinking if it’s worth it.

Great little spot for a date night or other casual affair. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. The vibes are great, the restaurant is in top portion of the house, while the downstairs is a quaint bar. The best part is that it is all gluten free and celiac safe!

Especially these hoity-toity deluxe gourmet amazing wait don’t come here. Please stop reading this review. Just hopped back in your car and go down to the absolute terrible terrible monstrosity of a Thai restaurant in Mount Shasta that I keep writing about. This place is fantastic! The fish tacos are delicious and portions are large. The fries are excellent and I love the dark meat gluten-free fried chicken. And waffles! They have a ton of sauces to choose from - spicy Thai is my favorite. The employees are always kind and attentive. I love the ambiance at The Lot. The summer is festive and it’s cozy in the winter with heated benches and fire pits. Highly recommend!

This was a great restaurant experience. We had a group of 8 and half of us showed up early and had some cocktails on their patio. Once we were all there we asked if they could seat 8 people and they were able put something together in just a few minutes. The host and waiter were very nice and helpful. The food was amazing. Most of my group got sandwiches or tortas and they had high praise. They regrettably don't have a gluten-free torta option 😞. They did have amazing vegetarian options. I did get a bowl with carnitas and it was still super good. I will definitely eat here again.

Was looking for a juicing place. Thrilled to find Nourish. The juices here are cold pressed daily and the recipes are perfect. Green #1 and Love Your Liver (beet based) are the two that I order regularly. They are consistently balanced and delicious, not sweet or cloying, but fresh and refreshing. The café also serves Ramen with the yam noodles that are nutritionally dense and gluten free, tacos then include pork with kimchi, and fermented dishes. The owner is highly knowledgeable and clearly committed to high-quality food production that doesn't compromise taste or nutrition. Truly friendly service that doesn't treat you like a number or a tab. Couldn't recommend more highly.

Mezcaluna has delicious food, a lively yet pleasant atmosphere, and the option for outdoor seating, which is heated and sheltered when the weather calls for it. This is where I will be going on date night or birthdays. Outdoor dining options are great in spring and summer, for our Covid cautious family. Happy hour is well worth it, delicious Birria tacos are gluten free and their Nojito is a great option for those who don’t drink but want to have a little cocktail in the sunshine. The small plates were so flavorful and rich a little goes a long way. We enjoyed the elotes and our daughter who is a picky eater said it was the best quesadilla she had ever had. They offered crayons and a menu to color which was also fun for her, as a nine year old. The pricing was very reasonable, we fed all three of us for less than what we would have spent on overhyped food in Portland, and the quality was exceptional. We will totally drive from PDX all the way over here again.

I have celiac disease so this is one of 2 places i litterally ever go to eat, i frequent it probably on avg twice a week and it pains me to say that i will not be going back anymore. For the past 2 weeks every time i go in my food has been obscenely greasy, sometimes i have the time to ask for a remake but sometimes I'm omw somewhere or have work soon so i don't have the time to really check everything and ask them to remake it but the past 3 times I've been in my food has been nearly inedible. I had the street tacos and squeezed the grease out of a single taco to have it fill a space on my plate larger than my hand. I've tried asking for less grease on my food several times now and it almost feels like i get more each time i ask. I just financially cannot afford to spend this much money on food that is nearly inedible and when i do eat it cause i don't really have another option at the time i pretty much always get sick from the gratuitous amounts of grease.

We absolutely loved having our 55-person wedding at Bar Carlo. The owner Mel is at the same time very supportive and very low-key, which made for a smooth planning process and day-of event. The space is gorgeous, and has multiple connected wings, which allowed for the the party to morph seamlessly over the night from barside cocktail hour to outdoor patio ceremony to dinner buffet to dance floor. The space is already a beautifully decorated artwork, and Mel lets you decide how to arrange the space for your event, but you can also bring your own decorations/sound system/llama and she can handle those additions easily. 🙂 The food and drinks were delicious too, and Mel was able to accommodate our entirely vegan and gluten-free menu without hesitation. Overall we loved the unique-ness, flexibility and good vibes of the space and the people of Bar Carlo, and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a cute and fun space for their wedding or other event. -Nicola & Lou

The food was delicious and they have an extensive menu. Some in our party are allergic to gluten and they did a great job of avoiding cross contamination. Our server was friendly and efficient. I recommend this restaurant and will definitely return.
