100 percent gluten free menu, and good drinks. They have taco specials, I picked the seafood option. The tacos were good, very fancy with the ingredients. I wish I had tried the meat tacos as well. The passion fruit margaritas was also good.

This cart is awesome. Something for everyone. I love that it is all gluten free. The blue corn tortillas are fresh and amazing. The mole sauce is very flavorful and delicious as well. Seems there are a limited number of vegan options but the dishes I have tried including the mole enchiladas, and veggie tacos all vegan were really good. I will keep coming back and tell my friends.

This was a great restaurant experience. We had a group of 8 and half of us showed up early and had some cocktails on their patio. Once we were all there we asked if they could seat 8 people and they were able put something together in just a few minutes. The host and waiter were very nice and helpful. The food was amazing. Most of my group got sandwiches or tortas and they had high praise. They regrettably don't have a gluten-free torta option 😞. They did have amazing vegetarian options. I did get a bowl with carnitas and it was still super good. I will definitely eat here again.

Tonight was an awful experience. My order was wrong twice. I ordered corn tortilla tacos and got flour. I’m gluten intolerant so I had to send it back which I hate to do. When the corn tacos came back they were the wrong tacos. I seriously hate to complain, and had to ask the server to just take it off the bill since it was too late and I didn’t want to have to have them remake again. The manger OJ came back and wanted to prove us wrong. And argued with us and said that we were wrong when even our sever admitted the original order was flour tortillas. I understand accidents happen and I wasn’t upset I just didn’t want to pay for something I couldn’t eat. OJ is extremely unprofessional and rude. Matador use to be one of my favorite restaurants and after tonight I won’t be back. The way OJ handled the situation was completely out of line.

We absolutely loved having our 55-person wedding at Bar Carlo. The owner Mel is at the same time very supportive and very low-key, which made for a smooth planning process and day-of event. The space is gorgeous, and has multiple connected wings, which allowed for the the party to morph seamlessly over the night from barside cocktail hour to outdoor patio ceremony to dinner buffet to dance floor. The space is already a beautifully decorated artwork, and Mel lets you decide how to arrange the space for your event, but you can also bring your own decorations/sound system/llama and she can handle those additions easily. 🙂 The food and drinks were delicious too, and Mel was able to accommodate our entirely vegan and gluten-free menu without hesitation. Overall we loved the unique-ness, flexibility and good vibes of the space and the people of Bar Carlo, and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a cute and fun space for their wedding or other event. -Nicola & Lou

AMAZING FOOD! Got catering for a staff party and was perfect for groups with dietary restriction as everything is gluten free! Staff was incredibly helpful and great to coordinate with. Everyone loved the food and even the left overs are still crispy the day after! A must try if you are in the area!

The BEST taco place around Portland, hands down - homemade tortillas, actual street style tacos, and all the meats are cooked and seasoned to perfection every time! I can't even pick the best meat here like every single other taco place - carnitas is generally my go-to, but their chicken is cooked to perfection where it has the perfect char yet melts in your mouth... This is the only place I order tacos with chicken. Combined with the great staff, chill atmosphere, and the option of all the homemade salsas and sauces just make this place extra special and so satisfying every time. When I'm missing central America, this place hits the spot every time (and when I'm in central America, sometimes I miss these tacos!!). The food even suits my gluten free, dairy free, and low fodmap diet. But seriously, everything down to the beans and rice... There's something special about this place and food that will keep me a fan forever! I highly, highly suggest this place. Keep it up Taco Pedaler crew!!! Pretty good taco option. Tried the braised beef and al pastor tacos. The beef was simple but great. Had a small sweetness, and plenty of flavor. Both had good (not too much or little) filling amounts. The al pastor was a bit too salty and sour for me. Overpowered the pineapple until it was gone. Think that was the avocado sauce. I tend to like less salt so that's not an unusual issue for me (like none on my fries). Hoping to try their crispy rice dish next time, but I think I'll have to do a modified gluten free version (his fried chicken is not gluten free).

The store is pleasant and neat. I was greeted warmly and the overall customer service was great! The food was delicious. I ordered one item on the menu for and to my pleasant surprise I also recieved rice, beans, and lettuce on the side. My plate was bigger then I expected and it was so tasty. La Bonita is awesome Mexican food made fast and fresh. We love that they have two locations. The one on Alberta has more of an artsy feel, while the Killingsworth location is a bit more dressed up. I love that I can order the fajita in a "bowl" option. My husband is a HUGE fan of the tamales. We bring friends with us often and every person has loved the dish they pick out and are served. La Bonita has options for many diets; vegan, vegetarian and gluten free folks have many possibilities here!

Robo Taco is one of my favorite restaurants in town. I love their variety of options for vegetarian, gluten free and vegan customers. My favorite thing here is a house burrito with mushrooms as the protein and black beans, no salsa. My favorite hot sauce is the Jalapeno, it so so creamy and has a good amount of spice. The habanero sauce is AMAZING but I can only take it in a few drops here and there, my partner has a much higher spice tolerance and LOVES it. Their black beans are sooooo good, it's unimaginable. Robo Taco is truly top of the line in a low profile way. Current hours are 3-10pm daily!

Really happy I got to drop by today. I asked what the order taker preferred - Ribeye Torta. Incredible! The sauce added some nice spice and smokiness to the perfect cook on the meat, and the nice pickled veggies. Good bread with the Torta as well. Great price per quantity and quality of food. Nice on speed-- have previously been used to waiting ~30 mins for "other carts" on the square. This time the wait was maybe 5 mins. Nice to see veggie options. The tortilla I got was flour, but I forgot to ask about gluten free.

This chipotle is often running behind and misses key parts of orders. Like my salad that came with no lettuce. Getting small queso when I ordered large queso. Or when I ordered crunchy tacos but they gave me soft tacos without telling me (which might seem reasonable except I’m gluten free so I had to just throw them away because nobody in my house can eat gluten. And now one person in the family doesn’t have dinner) I keep coming here because they are the closest to highway 26 and often more “on the way” than other chipotles and delicious when they get it right. But they have about a 50/50 success rate at having my order ready both on time and prepared correctly.
