My mistake was ordering over the phone, the order was messed up. But worse I told her gluten free and I was severely glutened:( though the menu has GF items there is a disclaimer to eat at your own risk- don’t just don’t risk it not worth it, and the fees are outrageous, I do NOT recommend

I chose this restaurant while I was in town specifically because I have celiac disease and they had items on their menu that were clearly labeled as gluten free. What I was able to eat was delicious, but their gluten free labelling on the menu is incredibly misleading. I asked our server if the tortilla chips (labelled gluten free) on the menu were fried in a fryer that also fried foods that contained gluten and was told they are. So not gluten free. I asked if their corn tortillas for the tacos were warmed on the same surface as their flour tortillas and was told they were. So they're not gluten free. This sounds like an insane distinction if you aren't familiar with celiac disease, but I have had tacos make me sick this way in the past. Our server asked the kitchen to warm them differently and it was fine. And again, my tacos were delicious. I appreciated that the server communicated with the kitchen to warm my tacos. But if I had trusted the menu (or I guess just ASKED if things were gluten free vs asking specifics about how items were made) I would have spent tonight very ill.

Amazing place to grab a bite. Think "Chipotle" but higher quality and good. The staff is friendly, the food is excellent, the prices are reasonable, and the outdoor seating area is nice. And the queso is gluten free! In fact, everything they have on the line is gluten free (not the burrito wrap obviously). I would take this over most of the overpriced stuffy restaurants in the area on most days.

Great atmosphere. The Jasmin was fully in bloom as we ate outside with a heavenly scent. Our server (Stephanie) was cheerful and quite helpful. Overall a very pleasant experience. We'll be back! My wife has Celiac and they were knowledgeable and have a separate fryer for chips.

Cantina is always my go to restaurant especially in the city! The roasted chicken tacos are always my favorite! They have so many gluten free options too! The service at the bar or if you are sitting at a table is always amazing! The manager was very informative on higher shelf tequila and helped our group out tremendously! I will always recommended cantina! Can’t wait to visit again!

The food is fresh and excellent, the service is prompt and friendly, and the atmosphere is energetic and upbeat. We have a family member who has Celiac disease and Chuy's was able to prepare a truly gluten-free meal for him. Many places are unable to accommodate those with specific dietary restrictions, so this was a much-appreciated service that allowed us to celebrate together. We love Chuy's and cannot recommend them highly enough!

Delicious food, strong drinks, and fun (romantic, but also family-friendly) atmosphere outside under the lights. We had both a diabetic and celiac in our group, so we can be tricky, but there were plenty of healthy options and gluten-free options while never sacrificing great taste. We didn't have reservations, but we were lucky to get in with only a little wait. I recommend making reservations, because it is popular!

This is a taco infusion style restaurant. This means that the tacos are "fancy" even the regular tacos. We started with drinks. Our waitress suggested an edit to my margarita that turned out to be splendid. I had the strawberry margarita with Casa Amigo Reposada and it was like a desert in a glass. (Almost to smooth so be careful) We ordered the tacos 101 because we came in looking for regular tacos and they were delicious. Very flavorful. We also ordered rice and beans on the side, which were not quite hot enough. Our server took them back and made it right. I do recommend that you ask foe your food HOT... As for being careful with food, I have celiac and my server was able to make suggestions on how to order so that my food was safe. On that note Our server was sweet, funny, sassy and attentive. She was delightful with her suggestions and her attitude was genuine. My only complaint is that we cannot transport this server to every location that we visit

Stumbled onto this restaurant while driving across the state and so glad we did. My wife has celiac and they were great keeping her food separate and were very knowledgeable! Everyone here was great! The food was phenomenal! The sauces were flavorful and not overpowering! If we are ever in the area again we will definitely be back but so glad we found it and chose to stop here.

Waited 2.5 hours for a table on a week of Florida spring break. The service was excellent; thank you Garren. But the food was mediocre at best, though it was the end of the night. Their house beer was excellent. Our family member who ordered a gluten free dish, which was assured to be so, was cooked in the same fryer as products containing gluten. It's understandable they don't have a separate fryer, but it was assured that the chef takes it "very seriously".

Amy and her team at Tacozzini were amazing, handling a massive takeout order for our wedding party on 4.21.23 and hand-delivering it to Wisteria Augusta Salon where we were getting our hair and makeup done for my wedding last week. They made sure everything was labeled (we had some gluten-free and vegan options included), and even offered to bring over nice table settings and catering silverware to elevate our experience! We declined, in case our hair and makeup finished early and we had to eat and dash (or eat in hair chairs). Everyone loved their food and it was such a great spot, highly recommend Tacozzini for anyone needing gluten-free, dairy-free, or just delicious options for dinners, lunches, or takeout!!

The food was mid, service was okay, atmosphere was dead, food take almost an hour despite being THE ONLY in the restaurant. We had to listen to foul language beside us the entire time we Waited on our food. Menu said gluten free options and as you may come to expect we in fact did not receive gluten free options. Best food, atmosphere, and service. Seperate fryer for tortilla chips, which means nachos for someone like me that has celiac disease. They are very accommodating and have lots of allergy friendly foods. I can't say enough great things about this Taco Boy. Just bring your sweater if sitting inside.

Nice atmosphere. Food was good though since my wife is gluten intolerant and asked for corn tortillas, they brought both of us corn (I prefer flour) the waitress did bring me some flour ones, and on the drinks it’s Modelo Negra/Especial…when I asked for a Modelo they brought me an Especial…no big deal, just small details. Otherwise great.

The manager went above and beyond to help us! She spent time at our table to understand my gluten-free/dairy-free allergy and needs, while recommending options. The staff followed suite and were incredibly kind and attentive. They were cautious to change gloves and prepare my meal separately. Not to mention, it’s a fun and kid-friendly atmosphere. This place has had our favorite tacos every. Every single family member has loved their meal. I loved the shrimp ceviche taco and the the fish tacos. They were full of flavor and super good. The chocolate pot was amazing too. Being a celiac I was able to order from the menu and have desert. We can’t wait to go back next time we are in town… best part is that those working were so very nice.

I have been to Coa twice now with my friends and Dan is a wonderful server. He always makes sure we are taken care of, that we are having a great time, and that everything comes out perfect! My friend has a gluten allergy and he always make sure that anything she orders is gluten free without us even asking! He is a wonderful guy all around and if you go to Coa, Dan is the Man!! Other than the excellent service, I am never disappointed by the amazing food they always have. I love their rice, dobladitas, and my partner fell in love with their off the menu Birria tacos. The drinks are also super well made and they pack a punch so watch out! All in all, Coa is a must if you live or are visiting the Columbia area.

Great food and the staff was nice. It's very clean and they were great at answering questions. It was very off putting however to hear 4 of the staff members in front of me while making the food openly insulting and bashing previous customers, while we all have our views of others it 100% should not be on the line while still speaking to the people in front of you. Other than that this is a pretty decent place to get some good food, with gluten free options as well.

We were traveling and eating out with Celiac disease is not easy. I was searching for something that would not take too long but was tried and true. Find me gluten free pulled up Los Cuates as an excellent choice. Oh my! SO Yummy!!! I ordered the fajitas with the homemade corn tortillas and because I don’t like beans, I got a double side of rice. It came out on a sizzling skillet and was absolutely delicious. The salsa is slightly spicy with fantastic flavor. The chips are also their homemade corn tortilla chips made in a dedicated fryer. The fresh guacamole is absolutely delicious. My husband, who does not have to be gluten-free, ordered the churro Pollo and was delighted. There were leftovers. The portions are generous. The service was phenomenal and although the waitress did not speak English and my Spanish is very limited Google translate got us through everything else we needed to discuss.

if you’re looking for the best chips and guacamole in town, you gotta check this place out! The guacamole is incredibly fresh and packed with flavor, and the warm, crispy chips are perfect. Honestly, it is the best I have ever had. While I am not sure where they source their ingredients, you can truly taste the quality. The owner is a total sweetheart, making the whole atmosphere of the place very welcoming. You can tell she genuinely cares about her customers, which is so nice. Do not skip the tacos—they are just as amazing and definitely worth a try! They are also extremely considerate of dietary restrictions. My friend with celiac found plenty of options, making it very easy for us to order. They have a fantastic selection of nonalcoholic beverages that pairs perfectly with the food. All in all, this spot has won me over, and I cannot wait to go back for more deliciousness. Highly recommended!

Great choices. Stopped in for a quick lunch. Was in and out quick which is what I like. The fajitas were generously portioned and had a lot of flavor without being overly salty. Being on a diet I didn’t try nachos or the staples here but for eating healthy it worked for me. Corn tortillas are gluten free and didn’t fall apart like some places.

We ate at Tortuga’s multiple times during our recent trip to Edisto. Their food quality is great and they have a variety of gluten free options which is wonderful and quite rare for the area. The real issue with Tortuga’s is their service approach, especially for the menu variety and price point being offered. We found their service to be a bit impersonal and cumbersome with it being 💯 kiosk driven for ordering. Our real hesitation in recommending Tortuga’s to others is that they charge you for water. Any restaurant offering dine-in services should offer tap water complimentary. At almost $20 a plate we had to do a separate transaction for water each time we visited as it wasn’t apparent that you need to do this at the kiosk during our initial order. Each time we asked for water with our meal and were directed to buy it, a separate purchase for a plastic cup & tap water. This is poor service and shows poor care and interests in their customers who are often coming in often on bikes, etc. in a hot beach town. Again, the food is good however for the price point their dine-in service offerings need to catch up.

This place is fantastic. Especially if you have Celiac. The Chicken tinga nachos are huge and fantastic. Except for the gringo taco (pretty average) the other tacos are excellent, as are the enchiladas and sauces. We go there regularly and always get great service, great food, and a great value. The Cadillac margs are also very good. You can't go wrong here!
