Nacho Daddy in SLC is a must-visit for nacho lovers! This hip and vibrant spot delivers gourmet nachos that truly satisfy. I took a friend visiting from California for lunch, and it did not disappoint. Though it started as a Las Vegas franchise, this place elevates nachos to the next level. We kicked things off with the Triple Dip appetizer—guacamole, salsa, and queso—all absolutely delicious. Then, we shared the exotic Lobster & Crab Nachos, which were phenomenal. The best part? They offer plenty of gluten-free options! To top it all off, we indulged in their Churro Sundae. If you’re craving gourmet nachos, this spot is a must-try!

Tons of gluten free options! Food was absolutely amazing and worth the wait. Be prepared for it to be busy, we waited for 40 minutes. We ordered Puntas de Filete and Tacos de Hongos, both were sooo good! I also ordered a jalapeño margarita which was ok. I think if it had Tajin on the rim that would have helped a lot.

Such a cool spot! The food and margaritas were DELICIOUS. Excellent service and we will be back for sure! Definitely recommend the burrito bowl if you're gluten free, it was amazing. Another must try is the pineapple, jalapeño margarita. My family loved the burritos, chips and salsa, and sodas.

Really great quality, portions and atmosphere 👌 great gluten free options. I think it's better than Chipotle, Costa vida, and Cafe Rio but they are pretty spread out. Try it if you're close by! 😉

I love coming here for a breakfast taco. The people working are so kind, and the tacos are tasty. I'm a snack-throughout-the-day person, so one taco is perfect for me, but they are smallish, so a lot of people get two. Plus they have corn tortillas for us gluten free folk. Highly recommend!! Their lattes are excellent too. Thanks La Barba friends!

I’ve come here so many times I can’t count anymore. I rave about this place all the time as I feel it’s so underrated. El pastor tacos combo is the way to go. Their corn tortillas are the best and my husband is gluten free who normally hates corn tortillas but he loves theirs. Both locations are great and I’ve never had an issue with staff like other reviews say. The cashier tonight was super friendly and kind. I’ve never had a bad experience food or service wise.

Today at 5:14pm I came in to get my usual that I order at least once a week from around the salt lake valley. I order a GLUTEN free Sweet Pork Burrito in a big tray. They were out of tortillas so I sad same amount of ingredients in the big tray. She says she can't. You train everyone to take customers orders a certain way. So I understand they don't do Baja in big trays yet for months including this location I have been getting in them. I have had this allergy for 3 yrs now and Costa Vida has always been my go for awesome service and great food. When you say I can't do that when history says otherwise. You better have corn tortillas made cause I'm coming in at anytime.

Corn is in their name, so get the corn-based thing. I’m a huge fan of their enchiladas, their chips and most everything. The dishes are huge and the fillings are excellent. Most options are gluten free. Reggaeton was blasting at the right volume and the decor is muy cute! Everyone was friendly, even the teenager confused by my order. The manager (owner?) came and said hello, telling us that he expected us to”speak Spanish by the time we were done.” Great drink selection, including refillable agua frescas. 10/10

We went for lunch. The server was very friendly and informative about the menu. We arrived about ten minutes before the bar opened, but she took our drink orders anyway. As soon as the bar opened, we had our drinks! The service was excellent. One member of our party has a gluten intolerance, and the restaurant was very accommodating. Next time I'm back in Salt Lake City, I intend to go back.

Chipotle is a go to place for our family when we want something we can be sure is gluten free. Although it seems small the selection is perfect. You don't get distracted by too many menu choices. My daughter, who has celiac, really loves the rice so we just get her a massive amount of that. The rest of us, depends on the day and mood. I can honestly say, though, I've only been disappointed that I've never had enough room in my stomach to eat it all!

These tacos were amazing. I ordered the Carne Asada and the Pastor. Both meats were flavored so well. The corn tortillas knocked it out of the park. I could taste that they were freshly made. I wish they were a couple of bites bigger each but so does everyone who enjoys tacos. I also ordered a side of rice. The flavor was outstanding and again the freshness was evident. I went there because I knew they could do gluten free options. This is critical for me as someone with celiac. Before ordering I asked the manager about both gluten free ingredients and cross contamination. Everything checked out with me and I didn’t get sick. I will definitely work this place into my rotation when I am downtown for work.

Chubby's is a local Mexican restaurant that serves tasty food for low prices. We've eaten there frequently for many years. They have gluten free options which is good for me. I've never gotten sick eating there despite my Celiac disease.

Limited English speakers. I had to use Google translate to make sure an item was gluten free. But, they were friendly about it. Interesting menu items. Tastes great. I'll be back.

Nice new little spot! Just to start, I have diagnosed Celiacs and was worried when I didn't see any Gluten-free options on the menu. The server was nice enough to explain almost everything is GF, I still wish they had it marked but after eating the guac, three tacos, and a bite of my wife's tamales, I can safely say my stomach was fine. That's less than 20 parts per million of gluten so Celiacs are should be safe here! Prices were right in-line with most other sit-down Mexican places. The mushroom & cactus taco was great. Drinks were good, the paloma glasses are trippy!

Very gluten friendly, my mom has to be gluten-free. They made sure they told her what she could and couldn't have and brought her food out separately so they didn't contaminate it. Love this place ❤️

There menu doesn't specify which items are gluten free, but the server was knowledgeable about gluten allergies and worked with the kitchen to accommodate my allergy. They were very attentive to potential cross contamination. The food tasted very fresh and seemed healthier than other comparable Mexican restaurants. I liked the atmosphere of the restaurant; it was clean and the music was tastefully sentimental and nostalgic-- very much in line with the restaurant's historical theme. I thought my server was lovely. She was keyed in to the right amount of interaction to make me feel taken care of without hovering or seeming impatient. As I usually eat lunch with a person with a disability, it is important that restaurant staff don't make my client feel like a burden or that he is taking too long to eat. I appreciate the experience of El Cholo.

We stopped by for lunch a couple of days ago and we so pleasantly surprised! There were so many different ceviche options and even though I need to eat gluten free, they prepared the dish without the gluten containing ingredients and the dish was still so delicious. I loved how their ceviches were not your all your traditional ceviche dishes because we got to taste a flavor combination that had mango in it and it did not disappoint! I loved the Latin music they were playing and it wasn't loud or annoying. Weleska, our server, was so nice and friendly and she gave us recs about other local places to visit. We loved La Cevichería and can't wait to be back. I took pics of the dishes and apologize because I couldn't help myself and dug into the dishes before taking the pictures.
