I was recommended to go here as a coeliac and wasn’t expecting a buffet style eatery - the food was okay.I went there twice and the first time the hot cabinet had only GF trays of food (which made me comfortable), but then the next day I came for breakfast and they did have one non-gf tray in the same cabinet. This made me uneasy, especially as the tray was the second row in, meaning the spoonfuls of food would have to travel over other gf trays and potentially contaminate them.
A hidden gem with exceptional coffee, spacious decor, and a menu that impresses everyone from families to foodies.

As a coeliac and lactose intolerant person I was happy to find a place that was able to safely cater for breakfast and lunch! I didn’t love my breakfast, but I LOVED the chicken Vietnamese salad I had for lunch. Like it was the best lunch I had in my New Zealand travels.
They are coeliac aware and take extra care with gluten free meals. Nice staff members and pleasant atmosphere. Enjoyed my coffee too!
Enjoy amazing burgers with unique lamb patties and a cozy vibe, perfect for families and burger lovers alike.

I love a good burger and this place didn't disappoint! Having both Gluten and Dairy allergies it can be hard at times when eating out but they were super accomidating and the mofo burger was super tasty and filling! They even provided a child's seat for our little one to sit and enjoy a hot chip or two

Loved this place, inside is so beautiful, the staff member I spoke to was so friendly and the pizza was delicious. I went to so many places in Wanaka looking for somewhere that could do a gluten free pizza that was coeliac safe and I finally found it here. Pizza base was so crispy, the pizza was amazing and I'm definitely going back next time!

Ordered the vegan toastie with gluten free bread and vegan cheese. Yummy and definitely better than average. I also ordered fresh beet juice, small but yummy. Highly recommend. Friendly staff. A bit hidden, in an alley, next to 2 other cafe. It is between two shops.
Chill vibes with cozy seating, popular movie showings, and irresistible homemade cookies make this spot a must-visit for movie lovers.

We dined here on Tuesday night, with my partner. It's a funky space, the staff were super friendly and very accommodating to my partner's coeliac requirements. Really enjoyed the meal!
Best burrito I’ve had on this side of the pacific. And multiple vegan options!
Staff are kind and very aware of my food allergies and dietary restrictions, and they are happy to modify things for me.
Would love to see the addition of vegan mayo & gluten free burritos someday! :)
A vibrant spot with a relaxed vibe and tasty dishes that spark exciting conversations, perfect for groups and quick service.

Very attentive to customer dietary needs… gluten Intolerant and dairy free, for example. We really appreciated them going the extra mile to address our dietary concerns and produce very tasty food!

Excellent option Celiacs friendly.
I was visiting Wanaka, and I asked in all the restaurants around with gluten free option, if they were safe for celiacs. The answer was always the same "There is cross contamination and I can’t make sure you that it is 100% gluten free"
A little tired of the same thing, I walked to a very nice place where there were different food trucks, a small creek, and plenty of place and grass to sit. My partner asked for celiacs option in this place "Coco Hut. South East Asian Food" and happily, they told me that they could make Pad Thai 100% gluten free version, safe for celiacs. In addition to assuring me that all utensils and pans would be very clean for me, no cross contamination. My Pad Thai was delicious, plus I had a gluten free kombucha. All very well declared 100% gluten free. The concern and knowledge about celiac disease was very noticeable and much appreciated. I enjoyed it, didn't get sick, safe place!❤️ Highly recommended. Just go, mention, and enjoy. Compliments to the Chef and the girl who attended me and understood my need!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Relaxed vibe with no reservations needed and a great selection of wines, making it a perfect spot for a spontaneous night out.

When everyone else makes you book in advance, The Cow let us wait for a table while enjoying a nice glass of vino. My coeliac husband has been talking about his GF pizza ever since we left that night. Staff are pretty cool too. We tried to go back the next night but unfortunately it was the night they're closed - so it looks like we have to go back to Wanaka!
Not quick to review dominos lol but must say I noticed an improvement on the puzzas an consider them one to be very good for there money plus gluten free an vegan options have been good for some of my family too. Much appreciated.
A must-visit gem in Wanaka with fresh and organic options, perfect for coffee lovers seeking a vibrant atmosphere.

DELICIOUS! Favorite meal in NZ. Fresh, wholesome, and nourishing with options for strict dietary restrictions. I am gluten and dairy free and it is very hard to find quick, casual food on the go. I found what I needed here! So yummy. Thank you!
A charming spot. We walked down from our Air BnB to find great coffees, snacks for gluten free, vegetarian, or neither, sweets or savory. Choose from covered tables on concrete or in the grass, near the lush garden.
Fabulous food. Outstanding service. With a diner who was gluten, dairy and caffeine/chocolate intolerant we left the choice up to the chef and were thrilled with what we were served. Outstanding!
Expect tasty drinks and a cozy vibe with some unique nachos that people rave about, despite the menu lacking gluten-free labels.

Good food and drinks, helpful staff. Gluten free coeliac: nothing marked on the menu, asked and they told me they had gf pizza bases, burgers and nachos. Chose the nachos and it was delicious. No gf beers but cider was good.

Every single dish we ordered was fantastic - especially the venison tartare and scampi dog! The menu did not disappoint and good thing the menu is designed for sharing. Service was excellent despite being short handed. Gluten free, dairy free, vegan options available - highly recommend to visit & book in advanced. Wish we had more stomach space for the rest of the menu!
A massive platter that's perfect for sharing and excellent venison make for a busy spot with fantastic vibes.

Called in late last week for dinner (one gluten and dairy free plus two others), two of us had the big platter which looked intimidating when it arrived but was the perfect size for two hungry people. I had the burger, which again was excellent - the venison was our most liked . Busy and great service.
Amazing! We loved this place, great food, wines and service. Right from when you pull in the driveway and see the whole place lit up like a Christmas tree you feel welcome. Inside is nicely laid out, the staff are really lovely and helpful (as in, they actually help you as opposed to listening to your request then politely saying it can't be done). The food was fantastic - we both had the 5 course tasting menu with matching wines (note, the menu is often different to the online one) and every dish was spot-on.
The self-serve wine station was also a bit of fun as we hadn't seen that before.
Can't fault the place, best food experience we've had in New Zealand to date!
We attended as a couple on a Friday night in July and booked a week out from it, one of us is gluten free.
