We got some very tasty sandwiches with chips, even the gluten-free ones (and chips) were very good. The spectacular desserts, they looked like they had just come out of the pastry shop. The service is good, except that the waiters often take advantage of it by making comments that we cannot rightly understand. We requested tap water (tap water) instead of bottled water, and the waiter insisted many times on letting us consume the bottled one... whoever wants to know, let him know.
Apart from this very nice and comfortable environment, highly recommended.
Charming spot in a picturesque village, offering a cozy patio and a menu packed with diverse gluten-free options and delicious desserts.

2024:
Always a wonder to be able to enjoy a delicious gluten-free pizza.
The service and welcome are very pleasant. Order taken at 6:30 p.m. to collect the pizzas at 7:40 p.m.
On arrival everything was ready 🤗
Head for a sublime sunset to enjoy.
Many thanks for thinking about gluten-free and not applying a supplement, it’s rare and extremely appreciated.
See you soon !!!

The pleasure of being able to eat a gluten-free pizza in Corsica!!!
Excellent toppings, piping hot pizzas, very good gluten-free dough and for once no price increase for gluten-free, it's nice because in the Paris region it's 3 to 5€ more expensive = the punishment for not being able to eat gluten.
Many thanks to Pizza Pinocchio for taking care of those who cannot eat gluten!!! They even have the thoughtfulness of not pre-cutting the pizza so as not to contaminate it with gluten!
The team is very pleasant and smiling 🤗
The service is fast ☺️
A charming spot with an exceptional team that offers tailored dishes and a unique touch with fresh table water from the town fountain.

Our group had a highly enjoyable lunch at this charming restaurant. The waiter was friendly and volunteered information on every item on the menu, making it possible for a gluten-sensitive member of our party to order the right dish. My 7-hour lamb was superb, as was the house hamburger (with a homemade mustard-mayonnaise) and lasagne. Table water fresh from the town fountain was a nice touch.
Unique views of the port and a fun vibe make this spot a delightful discovery that balances serious service with a touch of humor.

Very nice discovery! In addition they have adapted to impeccable gluten-free. Serious service but with a touch of humor. And the beautiful view of the port!
I recommend the octopus which was super good!

Very nice surprise, excellent meal, the servers Manon and Francky are smiling and helpful. Little extra for the gluten-free chestnut fondant😁, with a magnificent view of the port. A repeat without hesitation !

We love this restaurant for many reasons, The decor is fabulous, the cuisine is excellent, their reputation as an ice cream parlor is well established, the choice of these ice creams is incredible, bravo for the gluten-free, lactose-free and sugar-free recipes added, a marvel, I challenge anyone to feel the difference. The value for money is really great. The only small negative point was the irascibility of one of the servers.
Chill spot with a scenic vibe, offering a variety of grilled dishes and tasty cheeses—perfect for a relaxed outing.

Very nice location, friendly waiters. I have celiac disease and was able to eat a salad safely without gluten, but there were other suitable options too (mostly all grilled meat and fish dishes). The cheeses for dessert were also very good, but unfortunately there were no gluten-free beers.
An Italian gem with an impressive variety and great value, it's the kind of spot that keeps you coming back for more.

The very kind owner is Italian and explained to me in detail what all the gluten-free dishes were. The choice is very wide and the value for money is excellent, so much so that I came to eat in this restaurant three times in a row. Highly recommended.
Experience a magical atmosphere with stunning decor and welcoming vibes that make for an unforgettable outing.

The owners and waiters were very kind and welcoming. The owner helped me as I am coeliac and translated all the items on the menu and explained which ones I could eat. The food was amazing and beautifully presented and the atmosphere inside the restaurant was so interesting, it felt like eating somewhere magical with beautiful decorations and antiques everywhere.
Nestled in a stunning location, this spot offers breathtaking views and a dedicated team that keeps everyone coming back for more.

A magnificent setting, the whole team is great and kind. And an incredible view.
We have been back twice already and always at the top. Having a gluten allergy they are really careful.
We will return.
However, don't forget to make a reservation otherwise you risk not being able to eat there.
Very nice little restaurant, typical of old Bastia with a very warm welcome. An address where you feel good. A simple reduced menu guaranteeing very good and careful home-cooked cuisine. I recommend “la pinsa” pizza made with a soft and crispy gluten-free recipe. The prices are correct, consistent with those we usually encounter.
Impeccable atmosphere with attentive service, but the dining experience may not impress unless you're after something low-key.

BARNY'S atmosphere is impeccable. Have been on two dinner visits there now. The food is quite ok, but nothing more. Ordered steak there today. Ordered medium, it was cooked longer. Not a gastronomic experience, then. The waiters were friendly and did their best. My wife needed gluten-free food. They had good control over this. At least the chef apparently, as they came back and said the sauce was made with flour. So they cut it out. French fries were also made in their own oil, we were told. Abrupt!
Exceptional views and generous portions create a perfect spot to relax for hours and soak in the atmosphere.

A very nice address in Calvi that I had never tried and it's a shame because it really was a nice surprise.
The room inside is very pleasant, well decorated…
The welcome is very friendly, it was a little less so at the end of the meal but it's linked to a communication error: a digestive was kindly offered to us, we were waiting for it and suddenly we were said that it was time to vacate the table, something which of course we understand because we are in peak season... just a detail.
The Poke bowl was delicious, generous and well seasoned with quality products.
The tiramisu was huge and apparently delicious (I didn't taste it because I can't eat gluten).
An address where from now on I will enjoy going and which I note among my favorites in Calvi!!!
Remember to book!!!
We came here after reading some reviews. ...I'll tell you of all those where we went for our tastes, it turned out to be the best! Cuisine and place were rather home-made but excellent..despite often being a little hesitant we tried with a fixed menu but this time it went very well ...in fact we ate an appetizer of typical cold cuts, a grilled piglet (freshly prepared) with a side dish of potatoes and green beans while for dessert a good creme caramel, even my celiac girlfriend could eat all of this easily... all of this for 25 euros!! finally, compliments also to the friendliness of Pier, a young but very smart guy... well done
Expect a delightful dining experience with stunning beach views, tempting dishes, and a vibrant ambiance that makes every visit special.

A rediscovery that I am delighted with!!!! I highly recommend the address.
I hadn't come for many years because I had been disappointed several times but now, frankly, I'm under the spell again!
The service is extremely pleasant and attentive.
The choice of starters/mains/desserts is tempting and very varied.
On the plate it is generous, beautifully presented, perfectly seasoned. It is a pleasure for the eyes but also for the taste buds.
Tested as a starter: salmon tartare / as a main course: sea bass accompanied by a delicious risotto and pan-fried vegetables.
No problem if you can't eat gluten.
Price-wise of course it's a bit expensive but the quality/price ratio in my opinion for Corsica is excellent so I have nothing to say.
Remember to make a reservation to have the pleasure of dining with your feet in the sand and I recommend that you ask for a table at the end of the restaurant entrance to enjoy the sunset.
Superb setting. Very well eaten with dishes of good proportion and very good taste quality. As a celiac sufferer, taking the gluten-free diet into account was perfect.
Enjoy a welcoming spot that effortlessly accommodates various diets while offering a pleasant atmosphere for a delightful lunch experience.

Very good time spent for the lunch service.
The establishment has accepted our modifications concerning our specific diets (gluten-free, lactose-free or vegetarian, etc.)
Very appreciable, because this is not the case everywhere.
A very warm and quick welcome!
Thank you for this moment...

A wonderful little restaurant, which additionally serves as local delicacies outlet and art gallery/exhibition, offering very tasty food; in fact, this was the best food we have had in whole Corsica. Service was friendly and gluten-free options were also available. A must-visit place in Bastia.
Excellent welcome, good little meal by the beach, ideal setting, meal served quickly, copious and Excellent!
PS: possibility of eating gluten-free which is not negligible.
We received an excellent welcome and attention to gluten-free. We ate the characteristic pierrade, the table grill, the quality of the meat was really excellent. The location is normal outdoors, the inside is certainly more characteristic. Prices normal. Excellent Corsican wine!

Very nice setting and atmosphere situated in front of the church.
They speak English well and we're happy to accommodate us - one of us being gluten free. The tiramisu was gluten free, lamb, and veal they made gf. Not sure about the pecan cake pictured. The tomato starter was very nice too and gf.
Very good food - fresh and plenty of flavour.
We went twice- once in evening and once at lunch. Service good except on the 2nd time when one server didn't put our drink order through twice but other than that no complaints.
Very good address, tasty cuisine, good value for money, warm service and thanks again to the cook for sharing his chestnut cake recipe for gluten intolerance 😊 a real treat 😋

Nice little restaurant located opposite the harbor. The menu is extensive. We had fish, but there is also the option to order pizza. The staff was very friendly. The various fish dishes were excellent. It was also nice that there were enough gluten-free dishes.
