So glad we dined here while staying in the Temple Bar section of Dublin! Server was very knowledgeable about gluten free items and helped me with the menu, I had the fish and chips and my friend had the Shepards pie! Both were amazing! I had a local gf beer and drinks were delicious! Highly recommend, and I will definitely return!

Went with my family. On a calming Saturday night.food was slightly highly priced however tasty itself . Would've expected something slightly more authentic as the starter had also came out wrong .however still a lovely meal and plated nicely.with celiac disease, the gluten free option were good 👍. Recommend the gluten free desert ,the brownie with icecream .

Given that my girlfriend is extremely celiac, We were offered food that is gluten free. I would not be writing a review if it actually was gluten free. I am very disappointed how they have not supplied her with the correct food. We asked if they did gluten free, she said YES and she offered what they could do to make the best possible gluten free meal. I woke up to my girlfriend being sick, dizzy, couldn’t stand up, shaking on the floor. I am so angry with this. 😡

This place is popular for a good reason - the tacos are delicious. We didn't have a reservation, but they managed to give us a table for one hour, which was enough as the food arrived very quickly. What I didn't appreciate was that I checked with the waiter if what I ordered was gluten free and they said it was. I wanted to make sure about the gluten free order and I asked someone else from the staff, who said that actually my order was not gluten free and they changed it. The food I eventually got was really good and gluten free.

The food was fine but the service was terribly disappointing. Waitress just walked up and asked, “ready to order?” without a welcome, introduction, explanation of the multiple menus, or anything. I said I might need help for a dairy allergy, she said to “order the shepherd’s pie” (which I thankfully knew would put me in the hospital) and then said “or download the allergy info” and then just left. After later taking our order, she said, “and gluten allergy” before again walking off. I had to call her back to correct her which made me terribly nervous since I have quite a severe dairy allergy; it’s not just a preference or even an intolerance. I felt unwelcome and burdensome. We ordered very little since we felt so hurried and unhappy, despite originally hoping to make a fun night of it (and spend all our remaining euros) on our last day in Dublin.

Forget Temple Bar, this is the spot to go to while in Dublin. We came here our very first night in Ireland just for pints and then brought it full circle coming again our last night, but this time ate dinner as well. It's a smaller food menu for a pub which we actually prefer, and it was a pleasant surprise that the food was great. Half of the menu is Gluten Free and then they offer a Vegetable Stew that can be modified to be Vegan. Everything about this place is 10/10, definitely a must visit.

My review is only for the beers as we didn't eat. Being celiac, I had marked all the pubs where I could eat and/or drink gluten-free based on other people's reviews. For beers: I can confirm that they have gluten-free beers. The menu only says gluten-free bottled Peroni but, upon asking the waiter, I was offered a gluten-free draft IPA and 2 others (IPA and Weiss) in cans.

Haven't been here in years. Due to visiting my mother in the mater hospital, I ended up having a meal here. I couldn't have been looked after any better and though there was a glitch re the phone payment the patience afforded me and my companion meant all was eventually sorted without the need to do the washing up 🙈 I had the gluten free fish and chips and beshoffs watch out they were excellent. My friend had the pulled pork burger type meal and said it was sooo tasty. I highly recommend the place and hats off the the staff especially the man who looked after us. Definitely be going again next time though hope it will be for better reasons. Thank you all at Madigans you mades us feel welcome and we left happy

My first time in an Indian restaurant, we went in 3 couples, I am vegetarian, one girl e celiac and the other has allergy to a protein on cow stuff so dairy free and another thing (I don't understand much) so we are an odd table at any restaurant. But they have great options, staff is patient and welcoming, everyone enjoy their order apart from me unfortunately, but not for a chefs fault at all, just my taste as I am pregnant I am being a bit odd with food. Even though I wasn't expecting or asked for it they didn't charge me for my meal and I ordered the starter again that was massive ( spinach with some mango stuff I'll post the picture). The best mocktail I ever tasted not a joke! ( I got inocent mojito) Anyway, the place looks lovely and neat, the staff is great and we were well accommodated

I have never ever received a service as horrible as this place last night. We were 4 adults and 4 kids (aged 3-8). The booking was only for 6 but last minute, 2 others joined. The place was not packed, and when we were seated to the 6-pax table reserved, we asked if we can add additional chairs. The waiter didn’t reply and instead a manager or a guy who answers the phone for reservations, came to us in a quite hostile manner; no greetings, no manner and was almost really angry at us saying why didn’t we call to update him. It was a literal “last minute” addition as in decided when we met outside the restaurant. We were with kids and it was embarrassing to have this “adult”who’s supposed to serve us, speak to us so horribly. Not even letting us finish speak to respond. If only we weren’t with kids who are hungry, we would’ve left immediately. There was no need to be treated so rudely in a restaurant. Our waitress took possibly 15 mins or more and if we haven’t requested to be served, no one would come offer even drinks or water. Additionally, we chose this place because the food here used to be good, but quality has deteriorated. Their burrata cheese (part of the antipasti) was hard like texture of a rubber. We ordered gluten-free pizza and it wasn’t cooked well and really tasted off. Never order that. There’s really no reason to come here unless you have no other choice. Really sad because the location would’ve been nice but the overall atmosphere is ruined with the horrible service and low quality food.

I brought my family to this restaurant as I go there a few times a year because two of us are celiac and it isn’t safe in most places to eat out. I usually eat here because of my celiac disease as I was confidant that it was celiac friendly and didn’t have to worry about cross contamination and they cater for celiacs but the last time I was there I was told that the chips , wings and chicken was not gluten free because they were cooked in the same oil and fryer as the rest of the gluten food. I found this very disappointing and can’t understand why this has changed. I will not be returning as it is unsafe as a celiac to eat here. Very disappointed

First time going to PYE tonight and will definitely return! So happy to find a really dog friendly pub; it was a busy Saturday night but as soon as a quieter section of the pub opened up, we were taken there and our dog got her own dog bed as well! I'm coeliac so I was also very happy about the gluten free pizza bases (burger buns also available) and they made sure our chips were cooked in a separate fryer. The menu consists of 2 types of burgers, cheeseburger and hamburger. This makes choosing a lot easier for people with choice stress. They also have gluten-free burgers and they tasted very delicious (see photo), including gluten-free fries. Inside it is not very pleasant to dine for a long time (kind of like a more luxurious McDonald's, really aimed at eating quickly and leaving again), but if you want to quickly settle down, this is a perfect stop.
