Awesome place to eat first time here in San Francisco, and being a gluten free celiac, they did the best gluten free double burger with lettuce buns I have ever had. Their fryer is also GF and the potatoes are cut on site.

It was a disappointment because online it states they have gluten free pizza with designated ovens. Not only they did not have it the waitress told us it is not a gluten friendly restaurant and that there is flour flying all over the place. Being celiac I walked out. Not nice at all. Celiac friends go across the street to Acquolina. Great service, atmosphere and gluten free options.

When I first arrived I asked about the gluten-free burritos and the first thing he said was that they were not a gluten-free restaurant but that they try their best to limit cross-contamination...so I ordered an El Pastor burrito and my husband ordered a steak burrito. I added some of the sauces from the sauce bar like pico de gallo, a spicy sauce, and the avocado sauce. Both of the burritos were delicious, however, 8 hours later both my husband and I were sick. I had severe cramps and diarrhea and my husband had diarrhea as well. This was not our typical reactions to gluten so I believe it was more likely food poisoning. I talked to Alex today about this and he was very apologetic and helpful. he said he could give us a refund but I mentioned to him that what's more important is to figure out why this happened, to make sure no one else gets sick. He told me that no one else got sick the rest of the day, but I reminded him that most people won't call or make the connection. He said that he would talk to the owner about it and make sure everything was kept at the proper temperature. I didn't see if they were using gloves when they filled and folded the burritos, but from now on, I will request that just in case it was a matter of unwashed employee hands... hopefully not. The place seemed clean otherwise, so it shouldn't be that! The music was too loud for us also... that's why I didn't give a 5 star atmosphere rating.

We were looking for a Coeliac friendly meal near Golden Gate Park and this was perfect. 100% gluten free food. The only gluten in the place was in a few beers available. Friendly staff. We didn’t play any games but saw a huge selection available. Recommend the waffle sandwiches, and the ice-cream floats to drink, yum!!

Wow! Great time with the grandkids! Service was great! Very patient with teens! Excellent Gluten-Free options. Couldn’t eat the fries but they gave a yummy side salad as a substitute. Parking is difficult because it’s on Pier 39… but worth the trip. It’s Hard Rock… will definitely go again!

Overpriced & under seasoned... the concept of a Dracula themed kind of Restaurant is kind of cool but at the same time this fails so miserably in so many ways. The $50 Count Vladimir Steak is bland and flavorless watery mashed potatoes overcooked steak such a disaster. & disappointment. You would think being that you are in San Francisco you have no gluten-free bread or gluten-free options for people who would actually want to enjoy this food. And I hope you speak Spanish because nobody here speaks English so communication is going to be difficult for most. The concept is incredible unfortunately the food falls very very flat. The flavors I had on my steak were so bland and just weird broken oily sauce made no sense whatsoever and parsley which I absolutely hate spread all over my meat. My son ordered the ravioli which was clearly store-bought Frozen and cooked so not fresh though they advertise it as fresh. Very disappointing for my gluten-free guests because all they can have is a salad. My brother ordered the lasagna which he seemed to enjoy quite a bit. My younger son ordered the cheese pizza which I must say as somebody who makes pizza it was not very good. No flavor at all basic marinara sauce. I wanted the whole experience but the meal was so bad I just had to get me the heck out of here. What really is just awful it took us 6 1/2 hours round trip to drive to San Francisco to honor my brother for a promotion he received at work. So when you finally get out of the city which takes forever and I mean forever. Sadly all you can think about is how horrible the experience was at The stinking Rose.

The burgers are pretty good, and gluten-free buns are available for an additional fee. However, the price remains quite high. Orders are taken at the kiosks. The wait was very long, even though the restaurant wasn't particularly busy. The dining room is clean and decorated, but the atmosphere remains rather cold.

Had an amazing dinner at Caffé Sport. Our server was very friendly and assured us that the kitchen took gluten free order very seriously. That us separate water for gluten free pasta and clean the prep space for gluten free pizza. Really enjoyed our meal and would definitely recommend!

Honestly I’ve loved this place for a long time but had a pretty bad experience last night when my friend and I explicitly asked for gluten free rice noodles (for gluten intolerance) and we were served regular noodles. The waitress also didn’t know what ingredients were in what soups to accommodate for my shellfish allergy and gave me the wrong information. Screwing up an order for customer allergies and intolerances is mindless and dangerous and I’m nervous about coming here again now.

Found this place from a search for gluten free pasta. Wow, what an amazing meal. My husband was impressed and he grew up on homemade Italian food. We have never found a restaurant that could rival his Mom’s cooking, but we Roma Antica is it! The special Risotto and Short Ribs was perfect and gluten free to boot. I enjoyed every bite of my Gnocchi with Sorrentina sauce (creamy tomato with cheese). Even the roasted Brussels sprouts were delish. Not to mention the mini rice balls, just like Nonna’s. We were stuffed and took the crime brûlée cheesecake to go. The staff was so friendly and chattering in Italian. It reminded us of the cafés in Europe. We can’t wait to return.

Really tasty vegan food, even my boyfriend who normally doesn’t like vegan food found it tasty and filling! We got a wildseed burger, a watermelon salad, spicy sausage pizza, pasta and really nice drinks. I recommend the tumeric latte and charcoal lemonade :) They offer gluten-free options too, and obviously everything is dairy free as well :) The ambiance is nice and I’d come back again!

From the start, Victoria and her team were incredibly helpful, responsive, and accommodating — they made the entire planning process seamless and were present throughout the event to ensure everything ran smoothly. The space itself is beautiful and inviting, with plenty of natural light and a relaxed, open atmosphere that was perfect for our gathering. Our guests loved the food — the German sausages were a hit, and it was a huge plus that most of the sausages and beers were gluten-free without compromising on taste. Well, well, well. If this isn’t a gluten free/dairy free gal’s PARADISE. It’s so rare to be able to get my hands on a GF AND DF treat that’s actually tasty — let alone an ice cream sandwich, for Pete’s sake! But the Baked Bear has done it, and they’ve done it verrryyyy successfully. Got the brownie chocolate chip GF DF cookie + GF and DF chocolate chip ice cream. All I can say is GO. You won’t regret it.

This is a pretty neat place with some great options for seemingly everyone. They even have gluten free pizzas! They have an excellent vegan menu as well as meat options. The atmosphere is kool and the service was with a smile. I was surprised @ how quick the food prep is. There is a small dining area with TVs. To order inside, there is a screen with all the foods & options. Easy parking up front. Overall i enjoyed it.

Interesting restaurant concept featuring an entire menu that is free of gluten, dairy, soy, and seafood. Ordered a large order for the company using DoorDash and it was all labeled and delivered on-time. Liked the wagyu beef mixed bowl and people were raving about all the other bowls as well. Portions seemed like they would be small since the bowl pricing was so inexpensive but it was a good hearty meal.

To say my dinner at State Bird was outstanding does not do the staff, the food, or the service proper justice. I’m gluten intolerant (medical, not a dietary choice). Shawna, our server, and Hattie, the manager for the evening, not only ensured that the entire staff knew of the allergy, but went above and beyond to write out a menu for me, detailing what dishes could and could not be modified as well as what dishes were safe. As a first-time customer here, I could safely make informed decisions even with their dim-sum style of service. The impeccable attention to detail came from all staff members, and I was notified of possible modifications for every dish being brought around. I felt so incredibly comfortable, accommodated for, and taken care of while navigating a serious allergy in this Michelin Star restaurant. Modifications can be a hassle and a half for the kitchen sometimes, especially with such a curated menu, and it felt like the most natural thing in the world here. Our service was smooth and easy, which was a breath of fresh air. The food was spectacular: not only was there a wide variety of safe dishes to choose from, even the dishes that were modified were phenomenal, as if the lack of gluten was never a factor at all. At all. As in, seriously, GET the state bird with provisions and the whole shebang, because even when gluten-free the fried quail is astounding. The pork belly salad was brilliantly balanced, and the ice cream sandwich was an incredible end to our meal. Cleanliness, attention to detail, friendly service, and seamless communication across the board were the cherry on top for this absolutely phenomenal meal. Thank you, State Bird Provisions, for the delicious experience. We’ll certainly be back for more.
