Loud AF inside, not necessarily their fault, tons of people packed in a small room.
Ordered online, showed up at the estimated time provided, order wasn't complete until 30 minutes later.
Asked them to bag gluten-free and non gluten-free items separately, they didn't.
Ordered onion rings but didn't get any. (My bad for not checking before leaving)
Burger looks like it was rare/undercooked.
Enjoy a lively vibe with a fantastic salad bar, homemade root beer, and all-you-can-eat pasta that keeps everyone coming back for more.

My in-laws love this place. I am lactose intolerant. I find this is a hard place to find options for myself. I can get soup or pasta, and when questioning a mild gluten allergy, really all I can get is soup.
The soup is decent.
Service is great, typically it's college students and they're very friendly.
As for the atmosphere, sometimes it can get overwhelming. As someone who has struggled with multiple types of anxiety, it can be panic-inducing. People are packed in pretty close, and there's typically a lot of people there. It's difficult to move chairs, so if you're trying to get out of your chair that can be a real trick. And there's a lot of corners that you don't know who's coming around, and it's not uncommon to run into somebody or have them run into you. It can also get quite loud in there, especially when someone is being sung a birthday song. That said, it's a very friendly and excited and happy atmosphere. For many people in the area, this is a traditional place to go for birthdays or for reminiscent memories of their college days. It used to be called heaps, and a lot of their promotions are no longer in existence that people remember. For example, the heaps promotion where you could try many different kinds of pizza was discontinued during COVID.
I personally try to avoid Brick Oven. I don't find the food to be that high quality, the amount of cheese they put on the foods and other dairy products in their foods make me very physically uncomfortable when I eat them, and most foods there tend to be relatively greasy, or high carb, low protein, the opposite of what I'm shooting for, diet-wise.
The foods are definitely cooked on-site. But it's not really for me. The nostalgia element is not there for me because I didn't enjoy college as much, and the prices don't make it a college student-friendly location.

Normally I’d give this place 5 stars in every section. Today we went to get my husband a gluten free cookie for his birthday. They sold us this tiny cookie for $3.90. The cashier didn’t say a single word to us the whole time, it was a first for bad service and we felt robbed.

Great food and a fun vibe!
We came at a slow time when the restaurant wasn’t super busy. The waiter was nice and helpful, and we got to choose our favorite of all the colorful tables.
Although nobody had posted it on Google Maps before, we were pleasantly surprised to find that they do offer salads and wings, including gluten free menu options! This made our gluten people in our group happy.
Overall, the burgers are delicious and this is a great place to visit in Provo.
A busy spot with a great atmosphere, known for attentive service and a variety of menu options that cater to specific diets.

As someone with celiac disease, I really appreciate how careful the staff is about keeping my food safe for me to eat. My server this time was Miles and he was amazing about communicating with me about my food/allergy and checking up on my table frequently. The staff is awesome and the food was incredible!
A vibrant spot for a quick bite where the team is dedicated to ensuring a great experience for those with dietary needs.

I love eating at Costa Vida! My sister and I both have celiac, and the employees are incredible about switching their gloves and keeping our meals separate from other orders. I eat here frequently because I can trust that I’ll feel great afterwards!
Expect a vibrant atmosphere with unique gameplay vibes, great service, and a variety of tasty options to satisfy everyone.

Really awesome gluten free pizza. Thin crust but not soggy like other gluten free options elsewhere. Wish they had a separate fryer for their fries! Theyre not gluten free.
Enjoy a classy and relaxing vibe while indulging in fresh, flavorful pizza and unique sodas that’ll keep you coming back for more.

Classy pizza place, very relaxing, staff was all women which I thought was a little odd. I have Celiac disease and I let them know that it was an allergy. They used the same equipment and so there is a concern for cross-contamination but I did not get sick. They also added a large fee for the gluten free cauliflower crust. I also feel like there could’ve been more cheese and sauce on the pizza itself. I would go again but only on special occasions.
Not the spot for local sports fans, and the outdated vibe doesn’t help, but it has a wide range of options for various dietary needs.

Yummy food. If you’re gluten free and if you get it to go check that they did it right! They were great to go fix it but put me behind. When you eat there the service has always been great!
With an incredible atmosphere and awesome vibes, this cozy spot is perfect for working or relaxing, despite limited seating and occasional wait times.

We saw the 4.6 star reviews and went out of our way off the interstate, excited to get a matcha on our way through town. We saw they had a very colorful lavender cold foam and we all chose to get it.
The matcha left a bitter taste in our mouths and the food coloring on the cold foam stained our teeth for an hour. Needless to say we all got upset stomachs and couldn’t finish our drinks. I wish they would come up with a more edible option that didn’t leave you feeling ill.
There was a dog yipping the entire time we were there and it was ear piercing as it struggled to get away from its “owner”. I think if dogs are in a cooperatively shared space and creating an excessive noise situation I would hope that the service crew would ask them to excuse themselves to tend to their animal versus tolerate the disruptive behavior that affects all.
We asked what baked goods were gluten free and what were not as the baked goods were not marked and it took some time for them to figure this out which felt like a guessing game and not wanting to take a risk we chose none.
The outdoor sitting area is a really nice option. Inside has tall ceilings and a nice energetic coffee shop feel. This place has great potential but maybe they could tighten up the operation. It was easy to get to and quick to park and access.
Burgers here hit the spot, with super thick shakes and fantastic fries making it a popular campus choice for quick bites!

Food was excellent according to my fiancée but I didn’t feel comfortable eating there myself I have celiac disease and have to ask questions before I can order to keep myself safe I asked if they have gluten free buns when I tried to ask another question I was cute off by employee turning around in a huff and walk away . It made me very sad because if she can’t even take the time to answer my question she sure as hell won’t take the time it takes to keep me safe to eat at this restaurant. There are very few places me and my fiancé can eat together and he said the food was great but service is sometimes more important to me and employee completely failed with me
With delicious food and unique options, the place is a must-try, but be ready for occasional long waits and a bit of cold service.

First the positive: I really like the food. Especially love the gluten free options it’s awesome to have.
The bad: the service can be extremely frustrating. I usually don’t leave even semi-negative reviews but this place has been so frustrating lately. I called today to see if they had gluten free dough and I could hear over the phone the person asking someone else if they had it and then both employees saying “We have gluten free dough?” And “I don’t know where it’s kept if we do, I’m new here”. Then he came back and said “We don’t have it.”
My wife ordered the Buffalo chicken bun to go and they got it wrong 3 times. We finally got the right bun and the dough on the bottom was absolutely raw and still smelled like raw dough. She asked the employee and they brushed her off. I went back in after she showed me to get a refund.
In the past few weeks I’ve ordered gluten free items online and waited the extra 30 minutes plus that it usually takes before coming in only for them to say they were out of gluten free dough. (I don’t mind it takes longer for the items it’s just being told that they are out of item over 30 minutes after ordering)
I really like the food but it seems that the employees need more training and better systems in place.
Experience a peaceful atmosphere with a menu featuring delicious, locally sourced options perfect for sharing, making it a go-to for dinner dates.

Our server Kai was very attentive and so helpful with the ordering and dietary requests! He was great. The food was great, problem is with the communal style eating here, which is a fun concept, it is hard to get the right balance with the dishes, and it's a bit messy unless you order your own food. If the meals came in a more shareable style (precut, small grabbable portions) that make it easier to really enjoy the experience. Plus, if someone has a gluten/dairy allergy it kind of makes the shared side dishes lackluster even with the sauces on the side.
Nonetheless, Kai deserves 5 stars for making the experience wonderful.
Burgers stand out here, with a unique twist on flavors that keeps fans coming back for more.

I can't decide whether the gluten free bun is better here or at Chubbies. I like the burger overall better at JCW's. I have tried the Mushroom Swiss and the Pastrami Burgers both places. I prefer JCW's. Nether has gluten free fries

This place was exactly what we were hoping it would be. We are very picky about mocktails and usually make our own because most bars basically just mix club soda and juice and charge $9. We aren't from the area and most of the good mocktails we've had are from nicer restaurants we've been to, but we're constantly on the hunt for a more casual place to get good drinks. We loved the bar atmosphere and felt like everything was so inviting. The staff were all so kind and helpful. We were hyped to have a pool table as well. These are also the best priced mocktails we've found. Most good mocktails are in the $7-10 so these being $5-10 is so cheap. I'm surprised by any negative reviews, but after reading a few I think too many people come in hoping for a restaurant experience. They have food and we loved what we got, but we felt like the intention was for it to be a bar, not a restaurant. If you're looking for a big group dinner with attentive servers this may not be for you, but if you're looking for phenomenal drinks and tapas, with amazing vibes, definitely try it out. Sad we're not local but we'll absolutely make a point to visit again when we can.
(I'll add as well that we loved that they had some decent gf options and even though I'm only gluten sensitive they took care to make sure to confirm in case cross contamination was a concern. We felt very valued here :))

LOVE this spot.
If I have only one complaint the parking is a little bit chaotic- and turning left into it is not very fun but, it’s doable.
Always remind the people up front about the special you’re ordering that day and they’re happy to ring up the discount for you.
We got the Bandy and the Band manager with curry Gyoza and it was AMAZING
The quality of ingredients is great and so so filling. We were in and out of there 30 minutes flat the service is so fast and they’re really nice.
There’s super smash bros to play while passing the time. The inside is small but comfortable. We took the bar end near the window. There is a bathroom inside too. Wheelchair accessibility is limited due to how close the space is but if you’re brave or in a compact you could maneuver about.
The menu is nice to read too, the fonts aren’t crazy.
The oyster sauce is SO good here. They are also really clear about their vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. They are listed on menu and they have a list in the counter for whatever dietary resistance you may have.
They take tap to pay as well. The inside is very clean and they have a station to bus your own tables.
They offer water on a large shelf for self service.
There is an outdoor space to eat right in front of the restaurant with sun cover and plastic sheets for keeping the elements at bay.
Waiting in line usually goes out the door but the space can only hold four people inside and the line moves really fast so it’s no issue.
This used to be my favorite pizza place, but then I developed a gluten intolerance. In my opinion, gluten free pizza isn’t very good. The crust is extremely thin and doesn’t seem to have any flavor. I’m very sad, but I won’t be able to eat here anymore. I would recommend it if you are not gluten-free. But if you are, don’t waste your $$ here. In my opinion, it’s also too expensive for the gluten-free pizza for the amount of pizza that you get. Because it’s so thin it’s not very filling.
Famous for its mind-blowing chicken nugs, this spot guarantees fresh, perfectly fried bites and a sauce that everyone raves about.

I love The Nug!! They have gluten free nugs and it blew my mind. They’re actually fried, and they use a separate fryer so it’s pretty safe (hard to find as a gluten free person!). The chicken is delish and super fresh. I’m pretty picky about my chicken but I’ve never had a grisly or weirdly chewy piece from The Nug. Plus the sauce is 10/10.
Expect mouthwatering dishes with a smoked twist, generous portions, kid-friendly fun, and unbeatable prices at this hidden gem!

Those fajitas were on point! The steak tasted like it was smoked and it was a pleasant surprise. My wife had the mushroom burger and it was also a 5 star burger.
The kids meals were great and they accommodated our gluten free needs with non breaded chicken strips and potato fries. The fresh strawberry and raspberry lemonades made mom and dad jealous.
These prices were amazing for the portions and quality you get. Same cost as taking the family to McDonalds, but better than most sit-downs in the area.
Kids loved the free air hockey and shuffleboard as well.
These guys are new, and I’m glad we tried them before they get found out and become busier.
Highly recommend!
I’m typically not a fan of fast food, but my experience here was so personal that I have to share. The employees were so good to me! I was with friends but didn’t order anything because money was pretty tight, and the lady working the shift came and brought me a lemonade and catered to my gluten free dairy free needs by bringing a salad. It was so thoughtful, and made for a happy experience.
