I have eaten empanadas before, but this was the first time I ate a gluten free version. I believe the casing is made out of masa (corn) flour. I was happy to find that they have vegan options: Veggie and Beyond meat. Appreciate that the business owner thought of making vegan options available, and has advertised it clearly on their website and at the store. I called ahead of time, for a pick up of 18 Empanadas and happened to speak with the owner, Richard. The order was ready on time, which was excellent. The empanadas were flavourful and so was the Salsa sauce. It complimented the empanada so well. The service was great!

We came by for dinner on a Tuesday evening.
The atmosphere was nice and the service was good. We let the staff know about of gluten allergy and there was no issue with the accommodation.
I got the gluten free penne with the Bolognese. And my partner got the Lion’s Mane Bistecca.
We shared the shishito pepper appetizer and garlic mushroom side.
Nothing was good. Except for the first bite.
The shishito peppers were bland. They were grilled and coated in olive oil. We squeezed the provide lemon over them, but they could have really used some salt or additional spices.
My Bolognese was fine, but nothing remarkable. The penne was cooked well.
The Lion’s mane managed to be rich and bland. It was an odd experience.
The garlic mushrooms did not taste like garlic, but instead were quite acidic. Perhaps there was too much of a vinegar.
Everything was generally off. Like someone in the kitchen’s pallets was really off that night.
I would not recommend going here for the price. As our bill came out to about $160 for 2.

Beautiful atmosphere and incredible service. The steak tartare, butternut squash, potatoes and steak were delicious. Accidentally stumbled upon this place and super surprised to find out everything is gluten free! All the ice cream flavours and the cones! Staff was super friendly and nice, ice cream itself was so good and they have alcohol infused ones that tasted amazing. I only got the ice cream to go but they have a cute set up for drink pairings as well - I'll definitely be coming back to try that.
