If I could leave more than 5 stars I would. Because oh my goodness… I’ve now dined at Angelena’s twice. And I can confidently say I’ve never been to a restaurant with such amazing staff and food. Our waiter tonight, Brett, went ABOVE and beyond to make sure we had a lovely evening. I’m gluten free and he pulled strings to make sure I was taken care of in every way. He was so pleasant to talk to, answered all our questions, knew the menu extremely well, and was genuinely very joyful and thoughtful. An exceptional evening, I felt so pampered. I will never stop telling people about this place. Thank you Brett for the phenomenal service. He deserves a raise ;)

This was our first time there and spoiler, we WILL be back!! So start to finish: We arrived and the atmosphere was fantastic and lively with live jazz being played inside. It was kinda loud but meh, it’s worth it. We were quoted 30-45 mins and got sat within 14mins. Sweet tea to drink and it was yummy. I got the fried chicken, Mac & cheese, and green beans. Hubs got the shrimp and grits which was gluten free, as well as a side of their yams. When I tell you my husband was in HEAVEN. He said that’s the best shrimp and grits he’s ever had and the corn bread was fantastic. My chicken was moist and flavored wonderfully! The Mac and cheese was gooey and I was indifferent about the green beans. Our server was nice and didn’t hover but made sure we had what we needed. Definitely coming back to try new things!

Okay, so I’m writing this tipsy, but that’s thanks to the delicious peach sangria (9oz). We got seated immediately! Our waitress (Deaja) was fantastic and made our meal how we wanted it. Great suggestions. We started with the cheese stick and myyyyy Gawdddd. If you like cheese sticks, you’ll LOVE these. Excellent cheese pool and the marinara sauce was spot on! Truly delicious! Our appetizers came with a soup or salad and we chose the soup of the day which was a spicy sausage soup! So delicious!! I got the trio (changed the fettuccine to spaghetti to meatballs) and it was yummy!! The chicken parm was thin and crispy, the spaghetti was yummy, and meatloaf was spot on! Hubs got the Mezza something ravioli and he loved it. Though, he’s weird bc he dipped the damn mashed potatoes in it saying the garlic sauce was a great combo lmao. We had a great time and didn’t feel rushed! Ps: there’s plenty of gluten free options!

Kinsey was phenomenal!! She was so sweet, super attentive and checked with the kitchen on so many things to ask about my gluten free options. She is the Best! We had the Blue Angel and Alxyandria rolls - both were out of this world. The. Had the stir fry rice (added chicken with the sausage) and the Ramen Pad Thai. Holy smokes - De-licious!!! Definitely coming back again and again! Highly recommend Khons!

A unique and elevated take on basic dishes. I love the intricacies of each dish and carefully crafted flavor profiles. I have a gluten sensitivity and staff are able to provide recommendations and modifications to accommodate this. Nice wine and drink selection. New location is beautiful, but can get noisy when crowded. Excellent service!

I have to say, Not only was the food absolutely delicious, the service was Top Notch. My son has a gluten allergy and a dairy allergy and when I called the restaurant earlier, the hostess answered the phone and assured me that although they did not have a gluten-free menu, they do serve many gluten-free items. I took my my son there for dinner, and our waitress Rane was very knowledgeable about what items were glued and dairy-free. She assured us that they deal with this all the time and that they are very careful in the kitchen, and she will personally tell the chef. After our order was placed, Deen, the manager of the restaurant came to our table and reassured us that they take allergies very seriously and that the chef uses new pans to cook the meals and switches the gloves often to avoid cross-contamination. That made us feel very comfortable, and we will definitely be back often. Thank you for the wonderful meal and the comforting experience.

Simple concept, great food with lots of flavor. We were looking for a place that had gluten free options (not because of allergies, we just had someone in our group trying to cut gluten out) and they had rice bowls. We also had tacos. Everything was reasonably priced, was cooked up fast, and there was plenty of seating.

Nice that my celiac husband had some gf options. For appetizer we had shrimp and chicken lettuce wraps that were delicious. He had the mahi tacos. He said the taco shells needed to be a little crispier but flavor was good. I had the mushroom stack with blackened shrimp that was very tasty. Our son had the savory bread pudding dinner. I didn't particularly like the sangria... tasted a little like it had powdered lemonade? Beautiful location. Sat on the outside patio. We will definitely go back!

I’m trying not to get carried away with superlatives, but we had a truly excellent dinner. We went for our anniversary, and they took such great care to make it a special evening. Service was impeccable, and the food was amazing. The best Brussels sprouts, the best crème brûlée, and some of the best shrimp and lamb I’ve ever had. I also need to say how accommodating they were about my wife’s gluten allergy. They didn’t have a limited “gluten-free menu” like most places. Instead they told her to order whatever she pleased and they’d make sure it’s gluten free. That *never* happens. Couldn’t be happier with the experience.

Love this place. The food is made from scratch right down to the hamburger buns. I have Celiac disease and was able to enjoy an excellent Asian Salmon salad. Best of all are the owners and staff working there. Extremely friendly folks wanting you to have a great dining experience.

I've never been as angry over a dining experience as I am right now. I went here tonight and ordered a Cuban sandwich. I specifically ordered it gluten free as I have Celiac disease. When it was brought out, I could see it didn't look like their gf bread (I've eaten here before so I know what it looks like). I asked the bartender repeatedly if it was gluten free, and she assured me it was. It should've been a red flag that it didn't look like it should've and she didn't go to the kitchen to confirm, but I started eating it anyway. Lesson learned: trust your instincts. Got through about half, and I could tell it wasn't gluten free. I asked the bartender again, and again she assured me it was gf. There happened to be a mrmber of the kitchen staff getting off shift sitting at the bar, and he cut in to say that no, it absolutely wasnt gluten free, confirming my fears. As someone with Celiac, I knew how this would turn out and I'd be really sick. I tried to explain this to the bartender, but she really couldn't care less and offered to box up my leftovers. Lol, sure, box up the literal poison on my plate. It would've taken her 30 seconds to go to the kitchen and confirm when I originally asked. Instead, I'm at home less than 30 minuted later already crying from the stomach pain. The staff here definitely don't take allergies/medical issues seriously. I'll never trust them again.
