I recently was put on a gluten-free diet and that has proven to be a nightmare when dining out.
I have found most restaurants to be indifferent about the possibility that some patrons may need this accommodation… but not the Panini Grill! They have items clearly marked on their menu, not to mention that they have many options. It was a pleasure to eat there. The staff was top shelf & very helpful.
They are a new addition to my list of frequented restaurants (I’ve been back twice).
With a vibrant atmosphere and exceptional homemade offerings, this spot is a must-visit for a delightful dining experience.

I discovered the Z-Two Diner back in April 2024 after a Judas Priest concert in NJ and my buddy and I were both starving late at night when nothing else is open, especially for two guys with Celiac Disease, which means we can only eat gluten free. We drove there on the way back to Brooklyn and we both had one of the many choices of burgers on a GF bun with GF steak fries. The food to say the least was delicious and of good quality.
I normally don't like diner food because the quality tends to be sub-par and typically the flavors are very bland. Since that night in April, I have been back to Z-Two almost every weekend with my family, especially since I've relocated to Staten Island. The food is still very good, the service and the staff are friendly, professional and welcoming, and the prices are very reasonable. They always have a smile on their faces and love to delight you with funny stories and small talk. The atmosphere is modern and the restaurant is clean. There's plenty of free parking in the parking lot.
I highly recommend visiting the restaurant if you've never been there and try the food.
Nostalgic vibes and a lively atmosphere make this spot a must-try, boasting fantastic eats that keep bringing people back for more.

Deninos. My childhood. This is where I tried pizza for the first time and hopefully my last. Great gluten free crust and great atmosphere. Food is so delicious.

I have been searching high and low for the best gluten free pizza on Staten Island and I think I’ve found it here! The crust is not floppy, it’s crispy and delicious. I will be ordering my gluten free pizzas from here from now on.

Absolutely delicious Italian pizza, pasta and entrees! There are so many pizza choices, my favorites were the grilled chicken Caesar salad and the Grandma with a sesame seed crust, soooo yummy! We shared the seafood salad with large shrimp, mussels and tender calamari and the beautiful cold cut platter. The pasta with bolognese was fabulous and so was the chicken francese. They even have gluten free pizza and pasta. Finish with cappuccino and the oh so fresh cannolis and zeppoles. Bring the entire clan as the prices are very reasonable at this wonderful family friendly restaurant.
Get ready for a cozy Italian spot with delicious, creatively-prepared dishes and a warm, inviting atmosphere perfect for a relaxed meal.

I’ve been here multiple times and am writing this review to give 5 stars for the gluten free chicken Parmesan. It is perfectly thin cut, cooked crispy, and huge portion. If you’re gluten free like me, you’ll know how difficult it is to find GF versions of this specific dish, especially one that is done this right. I don’t particularly care for the service as the waiters are a little strange and not like the typical personalities you see at most restaurants on Staten Island…but this dish is so good I just have to keep coming for it.
PS. They need to improve the GF chocolate cake because it is incredibly dry and needs something to give it more moisture. I appreciate the effort however.
A cozy spot with a warm vibe, offering a unique blend of flavors and top-notch hospitality that makes every visit feel special.

This restaurant just opened a few months ago and based on my first experience, I definitely plan on being a repeat customer.
I would say the food is a blend of American, Brazilian and Italian. We got the burrata (special), rib eye steak, vodka parm with a side of gluten free pasta in mushroom truffle sauce (yes, they have gluten free pasta!) and cheesecake. Everything was exquisite - the quality of ingredients is evident throughout every meal from the burrata to the entree to the cheesecake (which was made in house).
Aside from the food, the service and hospitality was the best I have ever experienced. I felt like I was one of the family and that my business was genuinely appreciated. The chef even came out to thank us and asked exactly how we wanted our meals, which was wonderful because we got to customize our entrees to our specific likings.
This was the best restaurant experience I have had in a while- highly recommend!
A go-to spot with consistently delicious, well-seasoned dishes and a dedicated approach to safe dining that keeps customers coming back.

Greek Xpress Hylan Boulevard is our favorite go to!! My daughter has severe celiac disease and eats worry free from their gluten free menu options due to their cross contamination safety precautions and dedicated separate fryers. We have been customers for a year now, so this has been proven time and time again, consistently having a positive experience. Portions are plentiful, well seasoned and just overall delicious! The owner and staff members are very friendly and welcoming. Grace is a superstar and knows my daughter’s order by heart! It’s a very happy day for my family when it’s Greek Xpress day!
A vibrant Italian spot on Staten Island with stellar dishes and standout desserts, it’s a must-visit gem that consistently impresses.

JEEZ!!! Who would ever think that a phenomenal restaurant such as this would exist within Staten Island. With the numerous amounts of restaurants that claim to specialize in “Italian Cuisine”, Dolce Fantasia truly brings value and meaning to those two words. The spectacular vibrant atmosphere, professional service, scrumptious varieties of dishes along with many selections of delightful deserts sets this place apart from any restaurant that exists on Staten Island, hands down. This restaurant sets extremely high standards for food and service, so much so, that inevitably some people will not be able to comprehend. Nonetheless, whether it be breakfast, lunch or dinner, Dolce Fantasia expertly serves its customers with delicious foods that’ll kick some life back into you, which some (a lot) of us need. My experience here was great and I highly recommend y’all pay a visit to this gem.
P.S. The Gluten Free Chocolate Soufflé (sounds like a freaking weapon) is from beyond this planet, which by far is my favorite desert which will literally put you in a trance because it’s that damn good.
THIS IS NO LONGER PROJECT BRUNCH!! It’s now called Flores Brunch. It is not similar to project brunch at all. We came for the gluten free cinnamon bun pancakes and they don’t have that option. Only gluten free bread. If we knew that project brunch no longer existed we wouldn’t have driven across the island to eat sub par food that I could have made better at home. I normally do not leave reviews but this really annoyed me that it still states that Project Brunch is open at this location when it is an entirely new place. The waitress laughed in my friends face for ordering an “iced dirty chai latte” and said “I’m going to have a hard time explaining that one to the people in the back” meanwhile it was on their menu. My breakfast burrito came out with literally just eggs and bacon in it and my friend’s scrambled eggs looked like a filet of fish, it was inedible. Will not return - we only stayed because we drove so far out to go to Project Brunch. At least, my cinnamon latte and home fries were good.
With a loyal fanbase, this spot delivers consistently incredible flavors, fantastic fajitas, and a buzz of busy evenings!

I placed a nasty review on here last weekend because I was upset the past few times I didn’t receive the extra chicken I paid for and the lady responded with “i bagged your order the bowl was heavy, there was extra chicken” it was heavy because it was packed with rice which I wrote “light rice im diabetic” anyways I removed the review because this place has been good to me for years, there was 2-3 times I felt I didn’t get the extra chicken, foods always absolutely incredible though, the staff is friendly and it’s never too long a wait unless it Friday night, wouldn’t you rather have a place that has lots of business then some hole in the wall with no customers or reputation? Their beef nachos are out of this world, Fajitas are fantastic, unfortunately I can’t eat gluten anymore so I just get the burrito bowl which is still amazing
Chill vibes meet stylish decor, perfect for a laid-back lunch before exploring nearby attractions like the Alice Austin House museum.

Review for those with any allergy to gluten: I’ve been given flour tortilla with my tacos instead of the 100% gluten free corn tortillas I asked for twice! The second time I just returned them, but the first time I trusted that I got what I asked for. Be very careful.
Expect a cozy vibe filled with unique art and greenery, plus tasty margaritas and must-try homemade guacamole.

Maizal continues to be a favorite place of mine for Mexican food and drinks. The atmosphere is always comforting and homey complete with art decorating the walls, plants in the window, and little vases on the tables.
They have gluten free and vegan dishes as well as vegetarian dishes that can be made vegan if ordered without the cheese and sour cream. I had their spinach and mushroom burrito bowl and it was delicious. The vegan enchiladas verde are another go-to choice that I have gotten many times.
They also have great flavored margaritas. The hibiscus is my fav. And their homemade guacamole is a must-have to start off your meal.
The staff is also always super nice and the bathrooms are clean which we love to see.
They recently added some new menu items so I included some screenshots of the menu from their website since I forgot to take a picture in person.
Experience unique thin-crust creations with homemade sauces, all while enjoying a warm atmosphere and genuine hospitality.

Gluten free options galore! From pizza to garlic bread to burgers, I had plenty of options here. The gluten free pizza/ garlic bread crust was like no other that I have tasted- not the cookie cutter style which you could tell just came out of the freezer. This one was thin crust like a flatbread pizza. Plus the blue cheese and vodka sauce were all home made.
Also, we got to meet the owner and he was incredibly hospitable and appreciative of our business. Will definitely be coming back.
Great food and service. Staff always eager to please. Gluten Free optionsvand substitutes. Convenient parking present outdoor area very comfortable, and tasteful. Wide selection .
A cozy, intimate spot perfect for reservations, offering excellent service and a promising future drink selection—highly recommended!

This NEW Restaurant is a Single Store Front Restaurant, so I would recommend making a Reservation. The Food and Service were Excellent and if you require Gluten-free Items, they are happy to accommodate. They recently obtained their Liquor License, so they currently do Not have much of a Selection, but I'm certain that will change in the near future. The owner came over several times to make Certain that Everything met our expectations.
Another thing that I Particularly liked is the fact that it has an Intimate Atmosphere, it seems to me that almost everywhere I go, are "Sports Bar" Type Restaurants, which is NOT what I desire. Reasonably Priced, I Highly Recommend this establishment.
First time dining at Beso. Service was very good. Asked about gluten free menu, and the waiter brought us one. Food is very good. Will be going back again very soon.
Staff was very friends and super accommodating of allergies. We had a fixed menu but they still went out of their way to create a pasta dish that was gluten-free, and even offered to make a special appetizer that would be allergy friendly. All the food was delicious
This spot is a must-visit for delicious meals, offering a standout lamb burger and a refreshingly tart key lime pie in a welcoming vibe.

A local recommended Blue and I’m so glad we stopped here for lunch. Everything we had was delicious and would order again, including the grilled calamari, salmon, stuffed lobster, lamb burger, and key lime pie. They did an excellent job accommodating gluten free and the service was great. Highly recommend Blue for a meal with family, friends, or business.

Amazing experience. I went here on a Wednesday night and did not have any complaints whatsoever. The food was absolutely delicious, the decor/ venue is very pretty and the service was wonderful. Javier was our waiter and he was so knowledgeable and versed on the menu I honestly thought he was the chef. I was in the mood for something specific and he literally - and patiently- gave me different options for alternative sauces to see what I preferred. We are quite particular about ingredients but he was very accommodating with our other requests and everything was made perfectly. We got salmon, oven roasted cheese, tavern burger and the 3 mousse dessert (not pictured). They also have gluten free pasta so I plan to try that next time. Highly recommend and I’m very excited to have discovered this restaurant. Our business felt very much appreciated and we even got to meet the owner, who was an absolute gentleman.
Recently threw a birthday party for my husband. We went with their $60 per person package and oh man was it worth it! The staff were friendly and extremely attentive. I foolishly forgot that one of my guests was gluten free and they were quickly able to accommodate her food needs. And the food just kept on coming! Great sangria too though it was a little generic for my tastes but other than that it was an extremely special experience! Delicious food. Highly recommend.
