I needed Gluten Free peacartarian. We were on a tour booked as an extension of an IP trip with Journey Beyond. Lunch was included. On the menu were two vegetarian options. One was a pizza. The other a cauliflower and chickpea salad with onions. Greens and a fetta and Tahini dressing.
I chose the pizza, being tires of cauliflower and greens salads. My partner also chose the pizza. We expected some level of quality in the meal.
For both of us, this was the worst pizza ever.
The pizza was half raw in the centre, the cheese was only on half the pizza and was only half covering the surface. The inedible dry and hard crust which was inedible when pieced together showed that around 40% of the surface area was covered. See photos attached. I took photos but could not add them
Even the parmesan was just thrown over with the same lack of care as the mozarella.
The coffee was great. The wine served to my parter was of such poor quality that whe would not order it if there was a choice
We felt that the menu offered to people on the same tour was limited and lacked any creativity. We could also smell very fishy hot cooking oil.
The waitress was great and apologised and advised the chef of same. However, this should never happen. We walked away very disappointed without wanting desert.
To get rid of the raw flour taste, we headed for the ice cream parlour which our taste buds were very thankful to receive great relief.

Excellent food.
Chef was beautiful explained to me all options are gluten free
The young girl that served us was sadly very disappointing. She made us feel uncomfortable no smile or happy
She did not provide use with water when we asked for it. I had to ask another lady who gave us water straight away
My partner called ahead of our booking to arrange birthday cake and to his disappointment was not bought out to us when we ordered coffees.
Food absolutely loved it. Perhaps the young girl that serves us could use some training
Eating out is not just about the food but the service you receive and it was my birthday and was so disappointed that I was not made to feel special

This place is a lifesaver. They do incredible pasta - wouldn’t know that it was gluten free. And beautiful pizza bases (which are full size). They don’t use any unhealthy oils in their products. Can pop by their Osborne park retail shop front to buy direct. Prices are very reasonable.
Authentic and amazing pasta with top-notch quality, perfect for dinner parties or takeout, and always a hit with friends!

If I could give 10 ⭐️ I would! Sals provide authentic, quality, amazing pasta and food to go which i think is by far the best in town, especially the gluten free pasta! I have often called Sal and his gorgeous helpful team last minute to create a full menu for a dinner party often with 24 hours notice ( sorry Sal) and on every occasion it has been amazingly yummy. I cannot recommend highly enough.

The range is excellent and even includes gluten free for those with dietary challenges, they have "seconds" (slightly imperfect) which are so cheap, the staff are always so friendly and helpful if you have questions.
I used to go there years ago on a regular basis for easy, delicious and quick meal options... I curse myself for having not been in so long given I moved out of the area.
I will be making time to go back at least once a month again after having been reminded of what I've been missing out on!
They also do lunches for anyone who pops in at lunches... You definitely won't be disappointed when you go!!

Just had the vegan pesto sauce. It was amazing. Perfect even. Not too salty or rich, tasted so fresh. I mixed it through a big pan of gluten free pasta, added halved fresh cherry tomatoes, chopped cashews and half a diced avocado for creaminess, lightly heated through, topped with fresh basil leaves and enjoyed. Who needs cheese?!! This will be my new go to lazy dinner.
Also love that olive oil is used not the awful manufactured canola that so many other pesto brands use.
