If you’re looking for a JUICY gluten free fried chicken sandwich, this is the place! All their fried chicken is gluten free and they only fry gluten free items. They have some gluten in the restaurant (like gluten buns) but are careful with cross contact. My chicken sandwich was crispy on the outside, super juicy on the inside, and the gluten free bun was fluffy and held together well. The tater tots were super crispy and our food came out quickly. Will def be back!

The wife, son, and I went to the Skirted Heifer after climbing the Manitou Incline. The wife ordered the Classic Skirted Heifer Burger, I did the same with a gluten-free bun. I very much recommend this. My son ordered a kids cheeseburger with bacon. It came with fries and a drink. We also ordered a vanilla custard and a side of fries. The burger was amazing. The first two bites tasted like what a Big Mac tasted like in the 80's back when it was good. After that it tasted differently but still good. My wife and I were very happy with the burger. The vanilla custard was good, but I would not get it again. We had the Boylan's Handcrafted Soda. I would get these again. we had the coke. My son had the Birch Beer. My wife liked the Belgian fries, I was indifferent about it. I should have ordered the Sweet Potato Fries. When I come here again I would get the classic burger and a drink, maybe the cream soda this time. The dining room was small, but it did not feel overcrowded. There was seating outside, but we did not take advantage of this. Ordering was quick. The burgers took a bit to get made, but that is what happens when the staff cooks the burger to order. The person taking my order told me that the cooks would change their gloves and what not to reduce the probability of cross contamination, which I appreciated. I will be coming back here when I am next in the Colorado Springs area and have a hankering for a good burger.
Cannot recommend this place enough for anyone with celiac. It is pricy, but the food is amazing and they have some of the softest gluten free buns. They also have dedicated fryers, TATER TOTS, and all their sauces are gluten free. Ordering the salmon burger with no glaze, gf bun, tater tot’s and the aioli for dipping is my fave!

Iconic downtown eatery and bookstore. Great menu with a good variety of options with multiple choices for individuals looking for gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options. A variety of daily soups as well but honesty I’ve never ventured from my first meal there years ago which was the #1 pizza special with a 3-topping slice of your choice, a top notch house salad and a drink. It’s consistently amazing! Also theres a hidden patio in the back when its nice out!

Pricy but delicious place for breakfast or lunch! We got the gluten free French toast flight which they make with canyon bakehouse white bread + their breakfast bowls that are naturally gluten free. They cook gluten free orders in a different area of the griddle, change gloves and modify dishes as needed to ensure they are gluten free.
With a charming VW bus vibe and an array of unique flavors, this local gem promises a delightful sweet escape and great photo ops!

They have gluten free and/or dairy free ice cream flavors clearly marked on the main menu and keep sealed pints of each flavor for allergy orders that they use a clean scooper for. The employee was super educated on allergens & happy to take the extra couple minutes to get my ice cream from the separate pint. We loved my gluten & dairy free pb chocolate ice cream & my bf’s salted peanut butter ice cream!

Gluten-intolerants/celiacs stay away! My partner and I chose this pub because the menu was clearly labeled for food allergies, so we thought it would be safe — NO. We ordered GF items but weren’t feeling well before we left the restaurant and spent the next 1.5 days sick, nauseous and in pain. Absolutely horrible! And the food itself was subpar — very oily and bland. I’m not sure what happened but we definitely won’t be back. PS We aren’t celiacs, but are gluten intolerant. Not a fan of leaving poor reviews, but I’d never want someone else to get this sick!

My favorite place for gluten free pizza and charcuterie. The crust on that pizza is amazing. We tried the Rocco Brocco and Jerry Springer this time and, honestly, could NOT pick a favorite. The flavors are vibing well together, the basil limeade is divine, we love it. The monthly special is always worth taking a shot and the house puff starts you off right every time.
A casual spot with original decor and a playful vibe, offering a variety of options at reasonable prices, but watch out for the strong fryer smell.

A busy, social location with a seating set-up that is just shy of being community/family style, still giving privacy to each party. The sauces here are fire and the flavors all go well together across the many fishes. House tacos, street tacos, vegan options, and lots of sides, this menu will please everyone except that taco-hating friend. But you don't need friends like that, you need house margs and esquites! I’m so happy I found this place. Well, I haven’t been in person, but was able to get it delivered through DoorDash. Delicious and flavorful taste, in my country we have a food call “lomito árabe” that I have been craving so having something similar in taste and look (I ordered the beef gyro and some others) was a win for me. Only thing that would suggest and would love to see more is specific description of ingredients in each food of the menu, because for people that are not familiar with Mediterranean/creek cuisine like me would not know what is/are the ingredients in the beef gyro, you’ll know it has beef but what about the extra ingredients, like the sauce in it, same with Dolmas, tzatziki sauce and baklava, what are the things that make baklava a baklava lol, some has descriptions, but VERY few. Is it gluten or other allergies/sensitives friendly or not? So one can have peace of mind ordering, knowing the food is safe and friendly according to each case.
For example, the rice I ordered, in the menu the photo showed a white rice top with greens, but I actually received yellow rice with potatoes, carrot, cinnamon and other spices over it. I didn’t mind because I have a very adventurous palate and in South America we share kind of same spices and ingredients. That being said, the food was amazing.

What a soul feeding food and cook was great.we are vegetarian and gluten free, we are from Atlanta went there first time, he advised the veg platter so awesome and then I went back next day who would not and the next surprise was we ordered 10 minutes before they close and asked him we will get there 10 minutes after they close he said with smile sure and surprise did not end there when we get there he said no charge, I repeated no please let me pay but owner gave the treatment if I am ever in time will be eating there.

Really enjoyed Toastique and really appreciate that they have gluten free options for their toast! I ordered the 3 cheese Italian and it was delicious. The peanut butter crunch was a nice dessert toast to split and not too sweet! The table next to us ordered the smashed avocado and that looked phenomenal. Service was friendly and quick. Will definitely be back to try all the toast!

COS has needed an outdoor space like this for ages, and the Garden more than delivers. The owners are the best people and we’re lucky to have their innovative approach to modern beer gardens come to life right in the heart of downtown. Gluten free? Plenty of gf-options. Hungry? Order food from the trucks straight from your phone. Got your dog? There’s a little ‘dog bar’ though I’m not sure they call it that. The only thing I’m mad about is that I didn’t come up with this idea first. ;) proud of y’all, and I’m so excited that we have found our new spot for a casual hang or to bring family / friends.
