My fiancé and I recently came to Destin, traveling from Ohio, and really enjoyed the Ruby Slipper Cafe! I am Celiac and he is not and we were both able to enjoy our meals! I got the breakfast sandwich and thought it was great! I got a side of avocado and their pickled onions to add a little extra to the breakfast sandwich itself and it was the perfect addition! If you go to the Destin location and have a gluten allergy, ask for Cati! She is Celiac herself and made the experience wonderful! It was very reassuring to have her know exactly what I could and couldn’t have. Cati was also just a fantastic server in general and made the entire experience incredible! If we come back to Destin, we will definitely be coming back because of Cati and the awesome food!

The entire staff provided exactly what was expected. Our table was ready at the reserved time and our server (Ana) was pleasant and attentive. Once the order was placed the wait was short and done correctly. One in our party required a gluten-free menu and Ana was familiar with that menu and double checked on one item.

We had a wonderful dinner last night, Edit took wonderful care of us, very educated about gluten free options, as well as several other staff that stopped by to make sure we were taken care of. Food delicious and while waiting ( briefly) for our dessert, Edit suggested we go out on the porch and take a pic of the sunset, gorgeous setting!

What a great little find off of the beaten path. My son has celiac and they have gluten-free crêpes available. He said it was amazing! Me and my daughter also enjoyed our crêpes as well as the three different types of coffee we drank. Highly recommend stopping in here for a visit if you’re in the area. Sorry, no photos because our food didn’t last that long!

Lady Ray's did my (last minute!) wedding reception cupcakes and cake. Both are wonderful, gluten-free, and a competitive price for what you get on the day. It's so disappointing. After coming to Dewey Destin for 20+ years, they have changed the batter of their famous fried shrimp. It's what put them on the map. We found out that the owner has changed the recipe to make it gluten-free. The waitress told us that the staff and customers begged the owner to reverse the decision but to no avail. We won't be back.

Great find! Bowls were very good and pretty large for the money in comparison to most other fruit bowl places. They also had a lot of other great snack, food, and drink options including CBD kombucha. Gluten free and vegan options. Would highly recommend.
