Hemingway's has been safe for me to eat at. They have limited (think Well seasoned chicken skewers, lentil soup, and blackened fish of the day) gluten free options, but being Celiac in Melbourne makes any place with quality cuisine a repeat.

I came here for the first time for an anniversary celebration with my partner and the dining experience was incredible! Having celiac disease, it’s very hard to find restaurants that are accommodating. Especially restaurants with good gf bread! George was our server, and was amazing at ensuring the food I ate was not cross-contaminated. Even going the extra step to flip the spoon in the non-gf sauce on the platter so we would know the difference. (The little things matter!) I would 100% recommend this place for any event, or even just a nice dinner out. Ask for George! He was an amazing server!

I have my daughter and her friend here for spring break and Sunday we headed to Backwater for brunch! We sat outside on a cute patio and Chelsea was our waitress. She was very attentive made great suggestions on what we may like for food and for drinks. My daughter is gluten-free so she ordered the pancakes and said they were absolutely delicious. I had the breakfast sandwich on the Cuban garlic bread that Chelsea had suggested and it was absolutely mouthwatering. When the gal came out to deliver it to me, she said you’re going to fall in love and she was right. It was exactly what we needed to kick off their visit to Florida. I will definitely be going back and trying some of the other menu items that look delicious. If you’re in the neighborhood, you’ll definitely have to stop by for a fantastic dining experience.

Amazing food and experience!! First time coming and we will definitely be back! I ordered the Vodka Penne and added blackened chicken, my husband had the Grilled Rigatoni with blackened chicken + side of risotto and it was all delicious! The prices were great considering how formal and nice everything is. Large portions, we were able to bring home yummy leftovers to enjoy again (and again lol) And our server, Marissa was amazing! I have a slight gluten allergy, so after I ordered gluten free pasta, she made sure to mention that the sauce has gluten, and to ask if I wanted croutons on my salad! I really appreciated and admired how much she knew about their menu and allergens within it! Also side note, their menu is very clearly labeled with Vegan(maybe vegetarian?) & Gluten free on specific items, and also offers gluten free pasta! I'm quite picky about my GF pasta, and they made it PERFECTLY!!! everywhere else always undercooks it and they put lots of time and love into it for me. And their chicken was like the perfect white meat chicken! I'm super picky about textures and chicken is sometimes hard for me to eat but I devoured every bite without fear of the next! (iykyk)

OMG!! Vegan of 30 years and THIS is my first stop when I fly into Florida. The creamy curry zoodles has been my favorite dish but they came out with a new gluten free Mediterranean tabouli dish with roasted eggplant and garlic and SHAZAAm!! An INSTANT new favorite. Service is incredibly attentive and their market has a little bit of everything from the esoteric to the metaphysic to down to earth. They also have a fully stocked meals to go refrigerated section (great when you want to not think about making food on vacation but wanna eat delicious and nutritious foods) and lots of dried goods, supplements, super foods, and other self care products! Come get your feast on! Prices are also reasonable for a 100% organic shop!

I love their vegan fried rice with mushrooms and tofu. The crispy tofu appetizer is yummy too! There are vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options.

Lots of gluten free options and staff was very knowledgeable in addition to gluten free items marked on the menu. I have celiac and did not have any issues. Food was delicious, will definitely be back.

Just discovered there is a gluten free bread option. I had no idea. I recently, 5/18/25, had the healthy delight but replaced the spinach with regular lettuce and it was dope AF. Ordered online and ready within like 8 mins. Will be here again for sure. Also a good alternative to ordering Jersey Mike's from uber eats at half the cost since I work in the mall.
