Coeliac gluten friendly.
Dined here a week ago when visiting Canberra. It was an amazing dining experience catering for gluten free needs. The whole restaurant is totally gluten free - wow! The waiter was superb and gave us very good suggestions for ordering our share plates. The live piano music really added to experience and ambience. The food was outstanding and a real treat for everyone in our group, but especially so for the Coeliac diner.
Loved the decor. Loved the staff. Loved the music. Loved the food.
Even if you don't require gluten free, I guarantee you will not be disappointed.
This spot shines with a relaxed vibe, eco-friendly touches, and a wide array of delicious vegan options that keep everyone happy!

We had the gluten free version of the Hao San’s tasting menu for dinner when we went. Food was very fresh and delicious. The service was wonderful and it is evident that the staff have exceptional teamwork which made for a great experience. Slightly overpriced, however all the food is great quality.
Enjoy a creative and delicious dining experience with generous portions, unique flavors, and a memorable tasting menu that's perfect for sharing.

Our families had dinner at Highroad following our wedding celebration and it was lovely! The food and service was great; and we have to make special mention of the chef who very kindly accommodated the multiple dietary requirements (Coeliac, Pescatarian and Allium allergies). We had previously been to Highroad for brunch and coffee which was as always great, but their dinner service is definitely one to check out!
Thank you again!
Enjoy a vibrant atmosphere perfect for families, with beautifully presented dishes and quick, attentive service.

Went here for a casual lunch with the work mates. The pizza was excellent and there is a wide variety of different meal options. If you need it there are even gluten free options for those so inclined. The beer is really good and they have some local craft beer options. Ordering is easy and the service is quick and efficient. Food was all brought out to our table outside without too much of a wait. I would go back there for sure.
A hidden gem in Canberra, this spot fuses Asian cuisines with passion, offering a delightful atmosphere and memorable dining experiences.

Having left The Southern Pub (previously Belluci's Woden, a very good venue) before ordering, we wandered around the corner to dada for the first time. What a special treat.
Amazing food, very nice wines by the glass, fabulous service, and lovely ambience. Great choice of gluten-free dishes as well.
We will be back. 👌👏👍😊

This cute place serves up instaworthy but also delicious food! Their deserts are spectacular visually and by taste. There are lots of sweet and savoury options for kids and adults alike and servings were generous. There are also gluten free, vegetarian and healthy options. We had the pumpkin soup, the Moroccan salad with lamb and the cheeseburger. All were delish! And the coffee is good to round up the meal.
Street parking is everywhere. Place is easily accessible being on the ground floor and in the corner. There are 2 unisex toilets on the premise.
A must-visit for its exceptional service and accommodating vibe, creating a vibrant atmosphere anyone would love to return to!

Just divine! Popped in for dinner on a Saturday night. My first impression - they knew we had a coeliac at the table due to our booking notes. It was so refreshing!!! The food was excellent. As a coeliac they gave me recommendations on what they could guarantee would be completely gluten free. I had the barramundi and it was delicious. The rest of the table enjoyed the set menu with the chicken and fish curries. Everyone was impressed by the quality and taste of the food. The service was top notch - our waiter was very attentive and helped us out with what to order for the group. The drinks were also yum! Cannot recommend high enough! We’ll be back!!
This cozy spot offers a thoughtfully crafted menu with delicious flavors and a perfect ambiance, making it a must-visit for everyone!

Found this place through a google serch for gluten free, my mother and sister in law are both celiac. This cafe is one of the best that Ive been to in Canberra, none of the food is the standard 'gluten free' that you get elsewhere, the care and attention that has been put into developing the menu to be so good is amazing. The whole menu is just tasty, well flavoured and well proportioned.
Would recommend this cafe to anyone regardless of dietary requirements base solely on how good it all tasted.
The coffee was really good and the ambience was perfect.
Cannot wait to come back again!
Vibrant atmosphere complements perfectly cooked meats, making it a top spot for a memorable dining experience with family and friends.

We were served by Lin at Betty's Burger Woden ACT and she's amazing! Other staff were helpful too. Thanks for a great service. The place is very clean too. As always, we love dining at Betty's Burger. P.S They serve Gluten-free vegan buns! :)
The food was unique and delicious. Excellent range of gluten free options on a separate menu. I had the Hu Tieu with savory soy sauce, yes gf. It had peanuts on top, bean sprouts, celery, and this delicious creamy crunchy tofu. It was amazing, and the broth that came with it was so flavorful, I drank most of it and used a little to loosen the noodles and sauce. I am still tasting it, and I'm not even vegetarian.
Enjoy a delightful dining experience with decadent Mediterranean flavors and excellent service in a charming atmosphere.

A beautifully designed space that could easily serve as a carefully considered business lunch location or a thoughtfully chosen date night venue. The menu boasts a delightful array of well-priced, well-portioned meals, many of which are gluten-free and all of which are delicious. The Med is everything I like about a restaurant, high quality ingredients, unpretentious, satisfying, delicious meals, perfect lighting, music, and service that is attentive but not overbearing. But, the cherry on top was a husband that left feeling satiated. A wonderful lunch that left us all wanting more.
A creative set menu offers a delightful dining adventure, with outstanding attention to diverse dietary needs and consistently impressive flavors.

Good Italian wood fired Pizza and a nice restaurant. The style was a bit like napoletana but crispier and thinner. We loved the deserts too!the cannoli and the poached pears with mascarpone were incredible! Gluten free option was really good. Pretty busy so you need reservation and you need to fit in a 1 h window, which is a bit tight.
Cozy and moody vibes make it a perfect spot for winter dinners with friends, offering creative menu options that wow everyone.

This restaurant is always on my list when I visit Canberra. The food is AMAZING, gluten free options, and the staff are very welcoming and helpful. The semifreddo dessert is 🤤🤤🤤 I don't even know what it's made from but its so good. And if you're a rib fan you'll definitely love this place. I just wish they had cocktails 🥲 meals are decently priced too, we just ordered extra + dessert 😆
I have had Brod before but this one didn't hit the spot. Firstly, the wait time was insane for a quiet Friday lunch and one burger order. I would hate to go on a busy weekend and be in a hurry.
Had a gluten free veg burger. Their gluten free bread was so dry - so many burger places in Canberra do gluten free bread well so this was disappointing. The thinnest driest haloumi slice drowned by oily vegetables that tasted half cooked which given the wait time seemed a bit silly. So much capsicum! The burger sauce had been poured on and was oddly spicy which must be to make up for the lack of seasoning on the cooked veges. I think I'll try the vegan burger instead next time.
Their onion rings had a thick batter which was a welcome change from other burger joints. Appreciate that aioli dipping sauce didn't come at an extra cost.
Staff were nice but one person in particular seemed incredibly fed up - as was I by the end of it all. Won't be going back any time soon.
Interestingly never had a bad experience at the one at Capital Brewing in Fyshwick.
Experience a vibrant atmosphere with diverse menu options, a family-friendly vibe, and engaging community events that make every visit special.

We had a wonderful evening at this authentic French bistro. The food was outstanding and also catered for gluten free options. The friendly staff made our evening even more enjoyable. We will definitely revisit this lovely restaurant on our next trip to Canberra.
The food was great, but the chips were cold and we had an issue with the app. We haven’t been to Nando’s in quite some time and haven’t gotten used to the app yet. As a person with celiac, I was looking for food without any wheat/gluten. I clicked on salads and read the ingredients, only read: “grains” and didn’t think it would be that much of a problem, the salad had wheat grains on top. I called an employee over and didn’t receive much help at all. Went to the chef and was told it was my problem for ordering salad with wheat on top and was showed the “allergy advice” button, the ingredient list didn’t show wheat grains at all. She replied with an angry tone and wasn’t kind at all. The chef needs to treat customers properly instead of telling them it’s their own problem.
