The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast had so many choices even gluten free. The restsurant food was also delicious. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Hotel 1 mile walk to city center..Far enough away from the noise but close enough to walk to. I would definitely stay again.
A cozy spot with a surprising amount of space, awesome service, and a vibe that makes you want to unwind and stay a while.

We are tourists from Italy. We stopped at this place by chance. We had a really great time. Very kind and friendly staff. As a celiac they managed to satisfy me too. Delicious dishes. Excellent quality, price and food. We will definitely come back if we pass by here again. Great job.

Love the fact that all family can order and me being no dairy or gluten can have chip curry, slaw and salad. Even original burger no cheese (just don't eat bun). Lovely and fresh and big portions for chips
Expect a cozy vibe with a menu featuring tender, flavorful dishes and standout desserts that keep everyone satisfied—perfect for a relaxed meal out.

Myself and my wife stayed in Galway for the weekend and visited Brasserie on the Corner restaurant for dinner on Saturday.
My wife is coeliac and was catered for from the menu.
The atmosphere was very nice and the food was excellent.
We were served by a young lady called Hayley who was very courteous and attentive.
We would recommend this restaurant for a pleasant dining experience.

Ate here last night because I was excited to try gluten free fish and chips and oysters. Food took over an hour because the kitchen was backed up, so I truly believe they forgot to serve it to me gluten free. I have had GI distress, chills, nausea since. Wouldn’t recommend for anyone gluten free. and if it wasn’t the gluten it was definitely the oysters. My boyfriend feels fine but this has put a damper on our trip here.
A lovely spot in Galway City with a cozy atmosphere and delicious dishes, making it perfect for both groups and solo diners.

Having Gluten Free options was a bonus showing your inclusion of people with Dietary needs. Only negative was serving wine in small glass my preference is a nice glass to drink from. Not questioning the quantity that was perfect and price was reasonable.
Great GF (gluten free) pizza. My son is celiac and we had a fantastic experience here a few nights back. Pizza was great. Service was great. They only take cash.
Charming spot with a cozy vibe, offering a unique menu and a variety of tasty options that cater to all preferences, making dinner a delight.

Had a beautiful meal here last night for a friend's birthday. There were 6 of us; 2 vegetarians (one who is also a coeliac), a vegan and 3 meat eaters. Firstly, the atmosphere and decor of the restaurant is lovely and cozy. The waitress who served us was so friendly and couldn't be more helpful. She explained the options to us for gluten free, vegan etc. and checked several things with the chef willingly. The food was fresh, piping hot and beautifully seasoned and presented. Generous portion sizes too and good value. I had the soup to start with homemade Guinness treacle bread, one of the best soups I've ever had. My fiancé (the coeliac veggie!) had gluten free mushroom tacos, they were also delicious and on proper corn tortillas. Gluten free dishes came out marked as such which was great peace of mind. For mains I had the wild mushroom and pumpkin tagliatelle with garlic bread, divine and a huge portion! My fiancé had falafel which came with vegetables, hummus and various dips, which he really enjoyed. Most desserts are gluten free also, I had a gorgeous chocolate brownie, warm with ice cream. My only teeny critique is in the dark it's hard to read on their sign outside that it says parking at rear - we drove past at first not realising the alleyway beside led to ample parking. Overall we had a fantastic experience here and will 100% be back!
Step into a beautifully styled and warm atmosphere that's perfect for a relaxing meal, featuring deliciously flavorful dishes and standout desserts.

Absolutely outstanding experience!
From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and beautifully styled — the perfect setting for a relaxing meal. What really impressed us, though, was the thoughtful attention to gluten-free options. As someone who has to eat gluten-free, it’s such a treat to find a restaurant that not only accommodates but excels in it.
We enjoyed the roast lamb and the fish pie, both of which were packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. The lamb was tender and full of rich, savory notes, while the fish pie was comforting and creamy without feeling heavy. And yes — both completely gluten free!
Dessert was another highlight. The chocolate nut dessert was indulgent and satisfying, while the pavlova was light, crisp, and topped with the freshest fruit — a perfect end to the meal. Again, all gluten free and absolutely delicious.
The staff were fantastic — friendly, knowledgeable, and professional throughout, striking that perfect balance of attentive without being intrusive.
Highly recommended. We’ll definitely be back!

So happy we stumbled upon this little place that solely serves chips! It's a family run business and their chips are delicious (said by someone who does not like fries back in the states unless they're sweet potato fries). I am vegan and gluten free due to allergies and the staff was knowledgeable about my options: chips are always gluten free and vegan, but they further explained which seasonings and sauces would be safe. IT WAS SO GOOD!!!! I wish we had discovered this place sooner because we would have been there every day we were in Galway. A must visit for sure!
Cozy vibes with limited unique options; hits the spot for those seeking reasonable prices and a chill atmosphere.

A nice café with a cozy atmosphere. They offer some gluten-free and vegan options, but the selection is limited. The salad was a bit tasteless, but everything else was good.

Pair your treat with their excellent coffee, or stay a while and enjoy hearty soups that warm the soul.
The owner, Connor & fam, is as gracious as they come, welcoming every guest with genuine warmth and kindness. And if you're really cool, Luna, the café's lovable dog, might just come over to share some affection, adding even more charm to your visit.

Visited the Dean Galway Friday, July 12th, early evening. Had a drink in the little bar to the left of the entrance, then a couple of appetisers and drinks in the elephant & castle. The food was excellent, and the service was again excellent. I am gluten-free, and the waiter was extremely helpful. Portions were large, and we ended up taking home a doggy bag, which I enjoyed for lunch the following day.

They have the speed game absolutely worked out. We had less than 20 minutes before our bus returned and we got our food and were finished well in time.
The food is good, simple fare. They had gluten free bread as an option but im not sure they always do.
My partner said the tomato soup was above average and very hearty.
Great spot for a quick bite after a hike up the hill.

From the minute we arrived we had a lovely warm welcome, the rooms were lovely it was nice and central aswell as we went up to go to Elf Town and the Christmas Markets and nothing was more then a 15 min drive. My little man loved the games room it's a great touch to the place. The breakfast in the morning was fab aswell the chef went out of his way to prepare me a serperate cooked breakfast as I was coeliac and didn't want to risk the self service cooked breakfast bits that were gluten free . Will definitely return when in galway again.
Best desserts in Galway!! Even if you're not a "dessert" person I dare you to walk past their gorgeous dessert bar and not order anything. FYI, they always seem to always include a gluten free option. All the menu items emphasize local produce. Entrees are a little spendy, but always delicious. The dining room is usually a bit crowded, but it has one of the best restaurant interiors I've ever seen. It has home-canned veggies, original art, and a rustic skylight all put together seamlessly. It feels cultured, authentic, and utilitarian all at once. And the service is always attentive and personable.
A lively spot with an awesome vibe, offering plenty of options and a relaxed feel despite the hustle and bustle.

This place has such a great vibe. Even though it was extremely busy we weren't rushed from our table. The food was amazing and as I'm coileac there are loads of gluten free options.

So so so impressed with the food on Saturday night. Special mention to the chowder which is the best I've ever had (and its gluten free!)
The hollandaise on the perfectly cooked seabass was also to die for.
Brilliant service and gorgeous location and atmosphere to boot.

Girls trip away for 40th birthday:
Pros: hotel decor is lovely and glam, food was tasty and good portions. Wine was nice . Staff were friendly but not enough of them- see below . Breakfast service and food was really good. Bathroom in room was fab with strong rain shower and lots of toiletries.
Cons: Service for afternoon tea and dinner wasn’t great . Too little staff and seemed no one was over seeing operations so staff appeared a little chaotic trying to manage all the tables . Had booked afternoon tea well in advance with twice via telephone calls confirming coeliac options would be available. Our reservation was at 2pm but the two coeliacs didn’t get any food till after 3pm after the staff twice bringing out gluten options that had to be returned . At dinner , not enough staff and while the server was friendly she was also seating people so no one checking if we needed anything and took a long time to get basics like butter and water etc after asking multiple times . Hairdryer in room was faulty and the room lights weren’t all working.
All in all: nice stay but for the high price of accommodation and food would have expected more staff and more attentive to details.
Charming cottage vibe with top-notch dishes and excellent coffee; perfect stop before a stroll by the water.

Cute little cottage restaurant with delicious food! They had gluten free options which were awesome! The fish and chips Sando was top notch and the burger wasn’t too bad either! They also had excellent coffee at their to-go window, which is perfect for a walk on the water
My family had dinner with you on Thursday 27th Nov. I must say the service was very bad and disappointing. The waiter (Max i think was his name) didn't seem to understand a thing I was saying, i was trying to order gluten free food for myself. It took forever for the food to come which is surprising as we were the only table there at the time. When it finally did come, our waiter brought out the main course first instead of the starter. I have never seen this happen before and was shocked. When I tried telling him we wanted the starter first, he again didn't understand what I was saying. Eventually the food came but at this stage we had lost our appetite and were very annoyed. Not even a discount was offered to us after such a bad experience. I have to say it spoiled our family day out and we will not be returning in the future. From a very disappointed customer.

I ordered the one gluten-free thing they had
Crepes. With strawberries and Nutella. The crepe was large but overcooked. I gave up using the knife and fork and had to tear it apart with my hands. It was fine. I'll still order again.
All the staff was lovely. Despite the kitschy name, the restaurant is quite nice.
What a find. The scones were homemade. The service was excellent. Tea and gluten-free toast was €3.00. Excellent. They were well able to cater for a large bus load of people. Thank you so very much.
If you're on Inismór for a night, you have got to pencil in dinner and a drink in Joe Watty's. The food is spectacular and they are fully coeliac friendly with knowledgeable staff and a good variety of options. The pints are grand, and I couldn't praise the staff highly enough. Real sound people. When the session started the sing song was mighty.
