Crazy culinary experience… fabulous sandwiches with an incredible taste… absolutely to try. Also the croquettes with cream cheese and pepper and bacon… extraordinary. Everything really good and everyone really kind. Possibility to eat gluten-free… and the tiramisu without eggs a gem that deserves 10 stars and not 5… for me who loves tiramisu but I am allergic to eggs a real satisfaction to be able to eat tiramisu after a dinner… If you find yourself in Pescara you absolutely must try it.

I had dinner twice at the Lo Sgabello restaurant during my stay in Scanno. The restaurant is located near a public car park (blue lines). It has several seats, I recommend calling to find out availability as it is always crowded. The restaurant offers various local cuisine at medium prices. Of note is the possibility of requesting gluten-free first courses, however they do not have gluten-free bread. The service is quick and courteous.

We found ourselves here on April 25th to see Sulmona and they recommended this place to us which we wholeheartedly recommend to everyone, because we had a complete and assorted traditional house starter, the first course was excellent and tasty old mule tagliatelle, a mixed platter of meat and kebabs of both meat and liver, the house dessert was good and also for celiacs. Clean environment, quick waiters and average price around 30 euros each. Truly recommended for a visit to Sulmona, an easily accessible center and a very welcoming place.

We celebrated my husband's 50th birthday in this restaurant with the whole family, we were 16 people including one person with celiac disease who was able to eat the same menu provided for everyone, they are really very attentive to gluten-free. Good gluten free pizza, friendly staff. When you book you have to indicate which gluten free pizza you want. It is better to make sure they have lactose-free mozzarella, we have to eat strictly 0.01% but here it is not always found, they have 0.1%, for us it is a problem. The bill should be checked, the changes are not always included in the order. The service and attention to the customer could be improved a little because the pizza is excellent.

Mamitas turned out to be a very pleasant discovery. The quality of the raw materials is indisputable: very fresh fish, enhanced by a cuisine that knows how to enhance the flavor with balance and creativity. Even though it was a Sunday and the restaurant was very busy, the service was quick and efficient. One aspect that we particularly appreciated was the attention given to dietary needs: my partner, who is celiac, was able to enjoy almost all the dishes without problems, and those that were not compatible were promptly adapted. Typical trattoria where you can have lunch after a day on the slopes of Roccaraso. The staff was friendly and professional. The quality of the food is average. The service was quite fast. The environment is informal. It is advisable to book because the place is not very large. At lunch they have two shifts: 12.30-14.30. They also have some gluten free options. The fries are homemade, hand cut. The bathroom is very small. Parking is easily found on the street in front of the restaurant. Excellent quality/price ratio.

I found out about this restaurant through friends and Facebook. I have been coming for several years and have never had any kind of problem. I fell in love with their delicious and fantastic dishes, prepared with care, made by hand and with love. The pizza is highly digestible, prepared with quality ingredients and toppings. The arancini and kebabs are excellent, truly top-notch. Same thing for homemade desserts. Gluten-free, lactose intolerant alternatives available... Family-run business, very kind staff, available for any need and splendid. The entrance to the restaurant is also accessible for those in wheelchairs, parking is available on the street and in Piazza Garibaldi. I recommend this place to everyone for those looking to eat excellent and healthy food at affordable prices and quality raw materials.

We stayed for one night. Very clean room and the lavender shade of the furniture really gave a sense of serenity. Located a few minutes drive from the center which allowed us to pay a visit to the Monday evening market. But an absolute special mention for the owner: very kind, always smiling and ready to put us at ease for anything, in particular making us find a super breakfast even for our celiac daughter. We had dinner in the hotel's restaurant... Spectacular and also in this case great attention to gluten-free. Homemade tart, fried gnocco made for her... With maximum safety and attention.
