Literally never had a meal at Black Rooster we didn’t love. At this point I have tried everything on the menu and it’s all delicious. There are great vegan, vegetarian and even gluten free options on the menu so there’s something for literally everyone! My kids love it, too.
This place is absolutely amazing. The food is so good, so well constructed and presented, and the waiting staff is knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The sake selection is impressive and the food options are many and varied. You can eat here if you're diabetic, vegetarian, gluten intolerant, lactose intolerant, vegan, or even just plain picky. Go and enjoy, you will not be sorry.
Enjoy a fab dining experience in a quiet spot with unique ambiance, solid drinks, and delightful desserts, perfect for special occasions.

Visited in November 2023 for dinner. Experience was fabulous overall. Drinks were solid, I had a couple sangria, and my wife had a variations a Moscow Mule.
Food, we had an Argentinian Chorizo appetizer (that came out after our dinners), that was very tasty. Wife had a trout dish with asparagus, she said it was VERY good. I had the lasagna, and i exaggerate NOT when I say it was the BEST lasagna I have ever had in my life!! It was rather moderately priced too, added bonus.
Restaurant is in a quiet residential area, lo-key unique surroundings. We actually could walk to restaurant from where we stayed, but it didn’t look like parking would be difficult.
Dessert was a very unique looking and tasting pumpkin crème brule. Wife really liked it, I was a bit ambivalent towards it.
Also, someone on staff has a good music ear because they play some solid music while you dine.
My wife is gluten free, and while they did have a couple of options on the menu, it would have been nice to see more.
Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Experience delicious ramen with flavorful broths and a fun atmosphere, perfect for every noodle lover!

Our server Elvis was great and knowledgeable about the menu and allergies.
I do think it’s strange that gluten free noodles are offered but none of the broths are gluten free. At least one gluten free broth would suffice.
The only gluten free options are edamame and white rice.
If you have gluten free Japanese vodka, it’s possible to make a broth.
I called them first to see if they could accommodate allergies, and told them I can't have gluten. I was told it's not a problem and they have things I can eat. I ordered their beef pho and it was delicious! It was also incredibly filling, they're not stingy with the toppings. She told me that pretty much all of their beef based or chicken based broth Pho soups are safe to eat. They also offered summer roll, which I got with a side of fish sauce instead of peanut sauce since the sauce was not OK. I was worried about the pork which had a red color on the outsider but had no reaction. If you are worried, I would reccomend asking for only shrimp inside without the pork. The food was all delicious, everything was fresh and flavorful. They were very lovely and friendly, I definitely reccomend giving this place a try!
Amazing drinks at great prices and super attentive service that ensures everything is spot on and even fixes mistakes without being asked!

Drinks were amazing and cheap, and service was quick! Our server Meralyz was amazing - she not only noticed our burger wasn’t prepared right, but went ahead and took initiative to fix it, gave us a discount on the burger for the mistake, and even was thorough enough to notice we’d been upcharged for a gluten free bun when we didn’t get one, so she removed it without being asked. I’ve rarely had a server so attentive to detail - thank you, Meralyz! I wish I could have afforded to tip you $50!
A vibrant spot with a fantastic drink selection, great decor, and an outdoor area featuring rotating food trucks for a lively experience.

This place was amazing!! The beers we had were all so good. Service was quick and friendly. The flight had a lot of different but great flavors. The gluten free PB&J beer was one of the best I’ve ever had!! I bought a 4 pack since it was so good. There are a bunch of food trucks set up so you can easily get lunch next door too. The seating is comfortable and it has a freer vibe. Come check it out!
Me and my mom went here a few weeks ago the food was amazing I only had 2 issues which wasn’t that bad. First one was they didn’t have a lot of gluten free options at the time and second I was not crazy about the peanut sauce wasn’t a fan. We came when they freshly opened the doors wasn’t nobody there so it was nice and quiet. We order 2 types of sushi 1) avocado roll 2) sushi delight roll, also we ordered summer rolls, fries, potstickers, fried tempura and fresh Squeezed Lemonade which was the absolute Best 😍🤤 so refreshing it didn’t taste artificial, it was like it was made from love and fresh ingredients. 🏆👍🏾😍 I loved it here I highly recommend and tender to go back, great atmosphere, customer service and Food. I appreciate the lady that took our Order had great conversation and she recommended some movies to watch about veganism, sweet lady good vibes.

Finally got to try the @throwsomeshadeorl it’s such a cute place. I love @eatdrinkthriveorl and was anxious to try. I prefer the food options for gluten free at Thrive but lamp and shade do have some decent options. Not noted on the menu but the server was very helpful. My hope is they can use a gf gochujang and make some more options like they have at thrive. 💕💕🙏🙏 So appreciated. Go check them out. We sat in the lounge area bc there were no tables available but it was quite comfy there! Good times. 💕
Great vibes, accommodating staff, and a variety of options to satisfy all tastes make this spot a must-visit!

I have Celiac disease and was able to speak to the owner/chef. Everyone was so nice to help me know all of the ingredients. I was able to find many gluten free options. I ordered the pulled pork, cabbage slaw, and green beans with no corn bread. It was all DELICIOUS! Five stars for sure!
An awesome spot known for its careful attention to allergies, creating a safe and enjoyable experience for all.

Sad 😢. I used to love first watch so much. I’ve been coming here for over 10 years. It was always the first choice for delicious high quality food and dietary options. Over the last several years, I have watched it go down, down, down. Today was my final visit. I came for brunch on my birthday in March and was willing to give it another shot when I was in the area this morning and needed some good nourishment. I called ahead to place an order and 1) they stopped serving gluten free pancakes. This set them apart from Denny’s and IHOP by having a more modern menu option for those with gluten intolerance. 2) I thought it was just that day when it happened on my birthday, but their “grits” are instant cake batter. It’s just a lump of tasteless yellow cake mix. It honestly gives jailhouse vibes. The bacon was undercooked and flavorless. I’m just so disappointed, guys. You used to be the best! Another one bites the dust, unfortunately. Don’t waste your money or time here. Even Cracker Barrel could’ve done a better job. What a bummer.
Discover a spot that’s flexible with sauce options and caters to dietary preferences, all while keeping the atmosphere casual and welcoming.

I was pleased to discover that the establishment offers gluten-free options and that they took the time to clearly communicate that these options are gluten-friendly, though they cannot guarantee the absence of cross-contamination. They have a dedicated area for gluten-free items, which I greatly appreciated. Informed of the potential risks, I decided to proceed and ordered the gluten-free fettuccine Alfredo. I must say, the gluten-free pasta was quite good. However, it was notably salty, a sentiment echoed by my dining companions regarding their regular pasta and bread. Overall, I am happy to see that they now offer options for individuals with Celiac disease. As of the time of this post, I feel well and have experienced no adverse reactions to the gluten-free options.
