FINALLY a gluten free restaurant that is actually gluten free! They have dedicated fryers so there isn’t any cross contamination. The food is fantastic and the wait staff is very knowledgeable. If you’re gluten free, I highly recommend it.
A must-visit spot for tasty meals, offering unique pizza options and an inviting atmosphere that keeps patrons coming back.

We sat in a quieter area and the waitress was very attentive and friendly. I am on a gluten free diet and she ensured she asked questions and shared any potential areas for cross contamination. They do have three or four pizzas that can be made in a restricted fashion to avoid cross contamination. I don't have a severe allergy but appreciated knowing they have a process. The only bummer is it was $20 for a 10" pizza because we had the GF crust, which is likely frozen before being made. That breaks down to $5 a slice.

At End of the Line, where flavors burst bright,
Vegan delights bring pure culinary might.
The jackfruit pulled pork? Oh, what a treat,
On gluten-free bread, a savory feat!
The cabbage was crisp, pickles stood tall,
With cucumber slices—the best of them all!
Lentil soup warmed my soul with each bite,
But that sandwich? It took the spotlight!
From Brussels to chives, the soup was a hit,
Yet the star of the show? I devoured every bit.
Two visits down, and it’s clear to see,
This café serves flavor with pure mastery!!!
Experience top-notch service and delightful dishes in a unique spot that's perfect for celebrations and memorable nights out.

If I could leave more than 5 stars I would. Because oh my goodness… I’ve now dined at Angelena’s twice. And I can confidently say I’ve never been to a restaurant with such amazing staff and food. Our waiter tonight, Brett, went ABOVE and beyond to make sure we had a lovely evening. I’m gluten free and he pulled strings to make sure I was taken care of in every way. He was so pleasant to talk to, answered all our questions, knew the menu extremely well, and was genuinely very joyful and thoughtful. An exceptional evening, I felt so pampered. I will never stop telling people about this place. Thank you Brett for the phenomenal service. He deserves a raise ;)

This was our first time there and spoiler, we WILL be back!!
So start to finish:
We arrived and the atmosphere was fantastic and lively with live jazz being played inside. It was kinda loud but meh, it’s worth it. We were quoted 30-45 mins and got sat within 14mins.
Sweet tea to drink and it was yummy.
I got the fried chicken, Mac & cheese, and green beans. Hubs got the shrimp and grits which was gluten free, as well as a side of their yams.
When I tell you my husband was in HEAVEN. He said that’s the best shrimp and grits he’s ever had and the corn bread was fantastic.
My chicken was moist and flavored wonderfully! The Mac and cheese was gooey and I was indifferent about the green beans.
Our server was nice and didn’t hover but made sure we had what we needed.
Definitely coming back to try new things!
Get ready for a cozy spot with a unique menu where standout dishes make every visit satisfying and memorable!

Comfortable, clean, and a nice menu
Omelet good, grits pretty good.
I'm looking forward to going more often.
Friendly employees who help each other and take good care of customers.
They have gluten-free oat pancakes and corned beef hash. Unusual, and I'm glad to see it.
A definite favorite now

Okay, so I’m writing this tipsy, but that’s thanks to the delicious peach sangria (9oz).
We got seated immediately! Our waitress (Deaja) was fantastic and made our meal how we wanted it. Great suggestions.
We started with the cheese stick and myyyyy
Gawdddd. If you like cheese sticks, you’ll LOVE these. Excellent cheese pool and the marinara sauce was spot on! Truly delicious!
Our appetizers came with a soup or salad and we chose the soup of the day which was a spicy sausage soup! So delicious!!
I got the trio (changed the fettuccine to spaghetti to meatballs) and it was yummy!! The chicken parm was thin and crispy, the spaghetti was yummy, and meatloaf was spot on!
Hubs got the Mezza something ravioli and he loved it. Though, he’s weird bc he dipped the damn mashed potatoes in it saying the garlic sauce was a great combo lmao.
We had a great time and didn’t feel rushed!
Ps: there’s plenty of gluten free options!

Culver's has a gluten-free bun, so I figured I should try them out. The burger was a good fast food burger, which I haven't had in about 20 years. Fries weren't "extra crispy" but were still very good, and the sweet tea is just as good as the sweet tea from the place that makes all those donations I find unacceptable.
Though Culver's has the standard cross-contamination warnings, I've had no adverse reaction to eating the food I got, which is more than I can say for some fancier places I've been.
I'd say this is a really good option for someone with a wheat allergy, gluten sensitivity, or possibly even Celiac disease who wants to eat fast food-style burgers and fries.

Being gluten free it’s hard to find places in town to be able to quickly grab something to go while busy, this place is my go to for their gf breakfast bagel sandwich. Unfortunately they rarely serve them until the posted time on the menu. I go into work at noon so I try to swing by around 11am, and very often I’m told they can’t make me a sandwich. It’s disappointing when there are so few other options.
Exceptional food with a variety of unique options, quick service, and a fresh vibe makes this place a must-visit for anyone.

Me and my friends went here for our last dinner on a girls trip. It was perfect! The wait was a little long but it was very worth it. I am gluten free and I was surprised by the quality of the options. Obviously, there weren’t many options, but they were delicious. We also had such an amazing waitress, Penny! She was kind and was very personable. We were so happy with our experience.
You’ll love the unique fluffy and chewy crust, with fresh toppings and a cozy vibe that supports local community spirit.

A unique and elevated take on basic dishes. I love the intricacies of each dish and carefully crafted flavor profiles. I have a gluten sensitivity and staff are able to provide recommendations and modifications to accommodate this. Nice wine and drink selection. New location is beautiful, but can get noisy when crowded. Excellent service!

Dog friendly!! And bottomless mimosas! Super impressed with this rad cappuccino and all day breakfast spot. A character filled coffee shop that has free wifi for remote work and expanded from an indoor skate park/surf shop. I ordered the Ala Moana Acai but my partner's Steak n Egg melt was too good looking not to steal a few bites. Smoothies, vegan/gluten free options, and a delicious pastry bar! The employees really take pride in the food they're serving. We came in right as they opened on a Sunday so it was peaceful but I read they have live music events and I bet it can get crowded so come early!

Update 01/19/2025. So basically the person responding(most likely the manager) is calling me a liar. Nice. Like I said. ATTITUDE!!! I may have had the names wrong. But it was a baklava that was soggy and a tuna that was stringy. Semantics.
Original review:
I was sooo looking forward to celebrating Christmas Eve here. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!!!
First of all…they require a credit card with security code to make a reservation. They call to make sure you are coming. That’s 2 calls…but not once did anyone mention that the menu online would not be available. So we have our dinner planned out and when we get there find that only a couple of entrees are available and they have picked out your sides for you. No substitutions!!! Well. Broccolini and I don’t get along. ESPECIALLY doused in too much oil. Allergies. Also dried out twice-baked stuffed potatoes prepped in advance. NOT SO MUCH. This was discussed with server while ordering and wouldn’t you know it? The said veggie was on my plate saturating everything with its wonderful taste!!! I asked again for something else and was presented with green-yellow half rotten asparagus again dosed with a quart of oil and no seasoning. The quart of oil had already shown its ugly face on the charred romaine salad. By this point, I still held out hope for the ahi tuna that was the lesser of two evils, seeing I’m also gluten-free and no other options available this evening. The tuna had SOOOO MANY strings running through it I almost choked.
By this point, the server had copped an attitude of condescension and the night was ruined. I was hoping against all odds that the dessert would be better but the baklava tiramisu was as dry as could be. So tough it couldn’t be cut!!! Did the real chef take off for Christmas Eve? Because all the reviews must be compensated otherwise!
Well finally, when the bill came($140+ for two people!)a charge for the asparagus was the last straw. I brought it to the manager’s attention and was greeted with more attitude and asked her to remove the 20% tip that had been applied. I was told that was mandatory. It’s funny because we usually leave 25% if the server is even half pleasant and efficient. When I see groups of servers standing behind the counter cackling, I get a sour taste in my mouth. Especially when they are laughing and looking directly at me. Things were dicey in the kitchen, if you know what I mean. It’s amazing! We are new here. I can name plenty of places in Pensacola that welcome the seniors to dine there. This isn’t one of them. Stay away unless you like attitude!
Sorry. No photos. I was too dumbfounded! I also waited to calm down to write this. But this place truly sucks!
Oh. I forgot to mention that this place is the size of a hotel room. I felt so sorry for the young couple that were positioned looking directly at the front door 4 feet in front of them. Every time the door opened they practically played hostess. Not to mention the blast of cold air.
Love It! Gluten free bun was the best bun I have ever had w/ or w/out gluten! Service was friendly and the area/parking lot was clean. I'll be back for sure!

ok I am a huge Fan of small Bar/restaurants. this place rocks. you walk in and it cool and dark, covered with antique beer memorabilia in a 50's mid century style. Also a cool collection of stuff for the Trekkie, but not nerdy. lots of beer on tap as well and a full bar, ok that's great BUT the food is AMAZING. You don't expect to walk into a small bar like this and be able to order a gluten free pizza or a salad with 50 different toppings to choose from or get homemade dressings. the soup is inventive, Reuben soup, and tasty as heck. The dessert, yes dessert in a bar, is amazingly good. The staff is beyond nice and the service is spot on. the owner is there most of the time cooking and serves the food with a smile and if you're lucky a Vulcan Greeting. I love this place, and it's kid friendly, they have retro pinball and video games to play while you listen to ray charles on the juke box. A hidden gem in Brownsville/ Pensacola. love it!!! Highly recommend it. oh and no tvs blasting sports so loud you can't talk.

Good Day, Darling is a charming neighborhood café tucked away in East Hill, just across the parking lot from East Hill Publix.
Opened by the founders of the Magnolia, it carries the same creative spirit. If you knew the Mag, you absolutely need to know Good Day, Darling.
Their inspired menu features sips and snacks like coffees, teas, pastries, soups, and sandwiches—including some unique gluten-free options, which I find to be a really thoughtful addition. My personal favorite is the grab-and-go coffee option—perfect for those mornings when I’m in a rush but still want a quality cup of coffee.
Good Day, Darling is a wonderful addition to the neighborhood and will quickly become a local favorite. It’s already mine!
Elevated experience with stunning gulf views makes this spot an unbeatable choice for sushi lovers; fast service adds to the charm.

I am gluten free and noticed that their menu listed which were gf so I picked fhe sashimi of the salmon and shrimp and eel, all listed as gf. My salon and shrimp came out as rhat but then I got a roll. I asked multiple times is this what the bbq eel was on the menu, jn the sashimi section. 2 waiters said yes. I ate part of it just to find out tjete was fried asparagus jn it. They took it off the bill but luckily I don't have celiacs or else it would babe been bad. I was sick in bed the next day so bloated and in pain I had to skip the beach. Ruined my trip.

We are always looking for gluten free options for eating out. Friends of ours found this one and we were pleasantly surprised with the food. We ordered the spicy lamb tibs with sides gomen (collards), lentils and chickpea. We had the raspberry green tea lemonade which was delicious. Our friends had the spicy beef stew and we want to go back for that. The owner treated us to their pistachio smoothie which was awesome--we will be ordering that next time.
Delicious. Everything on the menu is tasty. Lots of gluten free options and no high fructose corn syrup in the food. The traditional BBQ sauce is my favorite.

It's a 66-mile, hour and a half round trip from our home, and we will make it often. My wife has a gluten allergy that cause her knuckles to swell, muscles to ache, and just make her miserable. She is looking forward to our next trip. (We have some gluten pills that make life livable, but barely.)
Fried Green Tomatoes, OUTSTANDING!
Onion Rings, OUTSTANDING !
Chicken Tenders, OUTSTANDING!
We ordered 4 pc tender snack, 6 pc tender dinner with onion rings instead of fries, and a side of fried green tomatoes. We had 4 tenders, 4 fried tomato slices, 6 onion rings, and most of the fries left. We put them in 2 boxes and took them home. I douted these leftovers would ever regain their psst glory. But, au contraire...the air frier (350° for 5 minutes) brought them back to crunchy l
tasty life.
Absolutely charming. Great place to grab some lunch while exploring downtown. Fun drink selection, too. Love the tacos and nachos! Staff are friendly and attentive. Gluten free options available.

I’m trying not to get carried away with superlatives, but we had a truly excellent dinner. We went for our anniversary, and they took such great care to make it a special evening. Service was impeccable, and the food was amazing. The best Brussels sprouts, the best crème brûlée, and some of the best shrimp and lamb I’ve ever had.
I also need to say how accommodating they were about my wife’s gluten allergy. They didn’t have a limited “gluten-free menu” like most places. Instead they told her to order whatever she pleased and they’d make sure it’s gluten free. That *never* happens. Couldn’t be happier with the experience.

This is a great little restaurant that is new to the east hill area! The food has always been top notch and service has been amazing! The establishment is super cozy and always clean, and would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys great quality food! We have personally tried the French dip sandwich, hot honey fried chicken sandwich,
Burrow burger, sweet potato waffle fries and their regular fries! The burger can also be made gluten free for anyone with a gluten allergy/intolerance.
Wow. Finally a restaurant that offers everything someone that is gluten free can order like a normal person. Their shop inside offers really cute thing too.

1st time visit for family and me. What a hidden jem!
Staff were pleasant, eager to please, and just plain awesome!
Two staffers in particular: our waitress was very helpful in explaining menu items and helping us order, was extremely attentive in checking to see if we needed anything - we felt like we were her only patron though it was extremely busy and every table filled.
Manager took special care to make my gin lemon drop martini (something they don't usually get asked to make) and it was the best I've had! Thank you both for making our first visit the best experience ever!
Food was fresh and excellent taste and flavor. Came out incredibly fast! And on a busy, busy Saturday night... couldn't believe it.
Extra plus is they offer gluten free soy sauce - hard to find places that carry that or tamari sauce. Thank you!
Didn't notice the delightful outdoor seating until we left....will definitely do that next visits now that weather is cooling.
Thank you all!
Your Forever Patrons!
Bagelheads has consistent, great, locally-roasted coffee options and large bagels made in house. Locally-owned, community-involved founding proprietors. Great lunch sandwich options. Friendly staff. Personally, I like the egg cup, with bacon, cheese, and avocado as a gluten-free alternative to bagels. I'm hoping for a GF muffin option in the future... シ
