Had a wonderful dinner. The quality of the food was excellent and everything was freshly made. Please note if going to dinner before attending a show at Count Bassie, service is slow. I had a 6:15 reservation and barely made the start of a show at 8:00 and we only ordered entrees. I look forward to going back to Monticello to enjoy their starters and dessert. Monticello is an excellent choice for those with celiac and need gluten free options.
Date nights here are a hit, with standout sushi and tasty drinks making for a memorable experience that you'll want to repeat.

My boyfriend took me here for date night because we got some good recommendations from friends. We had the crisper rock shrimp (absolute favorite) and pork potstickers to start. They were both delicious but the shrimp was the better of the two. The drinks were good. We mainly went for the sushi so we didn't have any entrees/ large plates. I had the double agent and it was amazing! My boyfriend had the voodoo I believe and he enjoyed it. Our server was the sweetest! She mentioned loving the gluten-free chocolate lava cake and after having it, I loved it too! The only thing I didn't like was where we were seated but I would have that day all over again and I will be back whenever I visit NJ again.

It was our first time here even though we have passed it many times we never thought they would have gluten free options until today we learned they not only had omelets, they also had gluten free crepes! I got the savory veggie one with an egg on top (gf). And my fiancé got the ham and egg crepe, we also got home fries to share! Everything came out hot and super tasty! Everyone was so nice and the aesthetic was also very nice! Can’t wait to come back and try some more options. So glad we came here for brunch
The person next to us got the avocado toast and it looked amazing and large!

Great family, great food and great atmosphere. The best in NJ. Try grilled calamari with asparagus. My favorite. Lots of clean/healthy, gluten free options. Everyone can enjoy themselves no matter their dietary needs/preferences. Also the Avgolemeno reminds me of my yiayia’s. So gooood!

Menu is labeled gluten free. But not lots of options. However they can do some changes like a burger without a bun, ask when you get here
Phenomenal service and food. I attended a work party here and was very impressed as this was my first time at Char. The ambiance is very chic and relaxing. The jalapeno fries are honestly some of the best fries I have ever had, and they have a good selection of gluten free items. The servers were courteous and on top of our orders. My wine would get low and before I ran out there would be a server topping me off. I feel like the best level of service is when they know you are about to finish your drink and beat you to it with a refill. I hope the regular restaurant service is as good as what they did for our large private party because I am now planning to take my Dad here for his birthday! The only minor issue I noticed was the coat check girls had major problems finding some people's coats which is bizarre because there are numbers. Aside from that I had a wonderful evening.
