Really lovely place for a healthy, delicious meal. I’m gluten-free so I appreciated that that was the default (instead of having to parse through the menu to find the GF options).
My partner and I ordered the Tibetan Mama and Saag Bota. Both were flavorful and we loved that they were filling but didn’t leave us feeling heavy afterwards. The staff were also friendly and welcoming, and helpfully walked us first-timers through the menu.
We’ll happily eat at Le Botaniste again!
A long-standing gem on the Upper East Side, known for high-quality, less greasy dishes and all-day dim sum that keeps everyone coming back.

This place has been around the upper east side for a very long time and it never disappoints! It's definitely pricier than other Chinese places in the area but they serve higher quality food that is less greasy, less sweet, and less salty. They also serve dim sum all day. With all that being said, some of their dishes are still catered to the western palate but it is still better than other places in the area.
Here are some of my favorite items from them
Fried egg rolls. Their egg rolls are legit. It's giant, filling and crispy.
Hot and sour soup. Very good and filling. Perfect for colder days.
Walnut prawns. Very big prawns that are flavored in this nice sweet and savory white sauce with fried walnuts.
Sautéed pea shoot. Very good while getting your fibers in.
Shrimp with black bean sauce and mined pork. Very good and flavorful.
Turnip cakes. Delicious and crispy.
Chives and shrimp patty. Lots of flavor.
They also have lots of gluten free options here. Service is always top notch. Overall a solid spot on the UES
This spot is a must-visit for those craving an impressive variety of gluten-free options, with a cozy vibe that makes every meal enjoyable.

Great place for an all day breakfast and more. The vibes are super old school Newyorker style. Good coffee! And GLUTEN FREE options. I definitely recommend it.
An Italian gem, lost in a sea of competition, jumps to life with its remarkable risotto, unrushed ambiance, and eye-catching decor.

I order take out from here all the time but recently went in person. They have the best homemade marinara sauce I've ever had. My friend who dined with me can't have gluten. She ate her entire bowl of gluten free pasta, which was massive. I will order from here again and again. They have a few tables out front if you want to take in the elements.
Bustling with charm, this cozy spot serves up impeccable pasta in a vibrant setting, making reservations a must for a delightful experience!

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing! The Cacio Pepe was the best ever! The gluten free version was as good , just a different pasta . The lasagna was crazy good, the best in nyc to date ! Make sure you make a reservation, it’s small and busy. Full bar, great wine selection. The cappuccino was made perfectly, the cannoli was the perfect finish ! Jessica was our server, friendly, knowledgeable and very nice. Enjoy

Gela and the rest of the staff at Oda House gave us an experience to remember. There was a great atmosphere, fantastic service, and delicious food. It is perfect for someone who is gluten-free too. We had Georgian wine, the appetizer sampler, entrées, Maya’s cake, and tea. I would recommend Oda House for anyone looking for a great night out and a new cultural experience.
Charming family-owned spot with hand-painted murals, fresh handmade pasta, and a warm atmosphere that locals love for its authentic vibes.

I absolutely love going to Mediterraneo! My go-to order is the gluten-free margherita pizza (the crust is extra crispy) and a fresh salad — the perfect combo. The vongole is also amazing!!! This family-owned gem is a true neighborhood treasure. Melania is the warmest, most welcoming presence, she gives the best hugs. It truly feels like walking into your favorite aunt’s home for dinner. Places like this are what give the Upper East Side its charm and sense of community. Can’t wait to return!
Featuring a cozy vibe and beautifully crafted dishes, it's the perfect spot for enjoying a leisurely meal with great conversation.

3 of us enjoyed the pre-fix menu dinners. We all ate every bite of these delicious and beautifully presented dishes: tuna tartar, mixed greens salad, lobster dumplings, Atlantic Salmon, steak frites, pecan pie with homemade pumpkin ice cream, gluten free lava cake with home made vanilla ice cream, and homemade berry sorbet. Service was very friendly and attentive. I loved the fact that we could converse comfortably because it was not too loud even though it was full of guests doing the same.
With vibrant energy, a lively atmosphere, and top-notch service, this spot promises an unforgettable experience for special occasions.

I went to celebrate my partners birthday. Due to her allergies we were looking for a gluten free place, this was the first thing that drove us to this place. What actually made us stay was the energy we received from our bartender Luis Ortiz. He was kind, funny and a profesional. Luis made us feel at home with his banter and wit. Moreover, his recommendations made our whole experience the more enjoyable. Definitely we will be coming back to share more special memories.
With a top-notch lunch menu at unbeatable prices, this spot shines for its consistently high-quality offerings and attentive service.

Have dined here many times, but I felt compelled to write about the incredible service we received by our server Georgios. I mean wow. He knew the menu front to back, every detail. Everything he recommended- we ordered. I brought 5 others who have never been here before and they were in awe of not only the food, but the 5 star service we received. My sister in law has celiacs disease and our server fully accommodated this and knew exactly which dishes she could and couldn’t have. I believe our server should be recognized for this by his employer! He is truly someone who loves his job and desires to provide excellence.
Really nice restaurant on the Upper East side. Excellent waiters. Old world Italian indoor ambiance.. They modified a chicken dish to make it gluten free & it was delicious.
Cozy classic bistro vibe serving reliable meals; don't miss the indulgent onion soup and comfy roast chicken in a neighborhood gem.

Classic french neighborhood bistro. Reliable food and service. Classic french onion soup with tons of cheese. Steamed artichoke, roast chicken, steak frites are our favorites. Never a bad meal, never bad service. Very accommodating of gluten allergy (onion soup without the bread!)
