My husband and I absolutely loved out visit here. We were in town for the weekend and needed a quick bite to eat. I have several food intolerances and am non celiac gluten sensitivitie, so finding food while out and about can be hard. This place was able to help with that as they are gluten free and very accommodating with any other food issues you may have. I had the smoked chicken box (which was rice, then smoked chicken on top of that and then a layer of slaw. My husband had the brisket box.(rice layer then brisket and pickles on top of that, then a layer of slaw) Both were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. The customer service was spot on. The only thing we were sad about it there isn't one in the town where we live. So next time we make our way back up to waco, this place will definitely be on our list of places to eat at.

I absolutely loved my order of chicken and waffles. My waffle was perfectly cooked. The breading on the chicken tenderloin was perfectly seasoned and not salty. The fresh strawberries were sweet and really added to my enjoyment. I appreciate the organic and gluten-free ingredients. It's definitely a must on my next trip to Waco, TX. Last but not least, the owner was an absolute joy!

I’m so glad I stopped by here while driving through! My son is dairy and gluten-free and there were several options for him! He loved the sausage (he asked for a second) and the cookie. I had the berry salad and added chicken, bacon, and avocado and I also ate his gluten-free pancake that was SO good. I’m not a big pancake person but I might come back just for the pancakes with their special coconut whipped cream and syrup. Next time I’m driving through I hope I time it right to stop by!

We were on our way out of town and wanted something that I was able to eat while traveling due to having celiac. This place was so good and knowledgeable to what was safe for me to eat. They were so careful and the food and service was amazing.

The pizza is absolutely delicious and I'm beyond grateful for their inclusion of gluten free and vegan options. The service has for the most part been friendly, but there have been two instances where it was pretty disappointing. The first instance occurred when my mom called and made a reservation for homecoming weekend. The reservation was lost and while they were trying to figure it out (shout out to the wait staff who were so kind and humble with the situation), the owner came out and said, "you mean to tell me you're walking in at 6:00 on homecoming trying to get a table for eight?" To which my mom replied that is why we made the reservation. His staff was very helpful in sorting the situation out, but as the conversation continued the owner remained snarky. The service took a long time, but again, it was homecoming weekend and we had a large group, so that is very understandable. The second instance was an issue with pricing. I asked the waitress how much extra gluten free crust cost. She was beyond sweet and said, "Oh it doesn't cost extra!" I then asked if cheese counted as the one complimentary topping to which she responded, "no, you get another topping in addition to cheese. No extra charge." When I got the check I ended up paying 10 more dollars than I expected. I was charged both for the gluten free crust and the cheese. I brought it up to the waitress, not to argue the charge, but to let her know in case someone else asked in the future. She was so so sweet and they gave me $5 back in cash, however I was still disappointed with the miscommunication. The pizza is delicious, the waitstaff is kind, but these two experiences make it seem that the establishment struggles with organization and communication.

This was my first time eating at Mod Pizza, and it was awesome! They have a gluten-free option! This place is perfect for those who like lots of toppings, as you only need to pay for the crust, then you can add whatever toppings you want on your pizza. You can also get dipping sauce or have sauce drizzled on the pizza. The food was great, the restaurant was nice and clean, and the employees were kind and worked fast. Overall, a great experience. I plan to come again! 😁

My boyfriend and I were visiting from out of town and decided to stop at this very nice local place! I have dietary restrictions (gluten & dairy free) and Richard and Devon made it all possible by customizing my meal so I was able to enjoy every delicious bite! If you are looking for great BBQ in casual setting do not miss Terry Black's. I was not expecting its almost fast food style service where you select your sides (single, pint or larger servings), then meat by the pound (sold in 1/3, 1/2, 3/4, or pound servings. We had the brisket, plain sausage and pork ribs. All outstanding. Melt in your mouth brisket. The potato salad and coleslaw slaw are both vegan and gluten free for anyone avoiding those. Great green beans too. I missed that they dont offer collard greens. Corn bread was great too. Highly recommend for a relaxed casual lunch or dinner. The guy by the smoker even offered to take out picture by the sign and next to the smokers and to give us a quick tour of the smokers.

My family has been getting gluten-free pizza here for a few years. The cost is around $20, but until now the size was ok. While the price has stayed the same, the pizza has shrunk to 1/2 the size it was. The quality isn't great, but GF crust is hard to perfect, however we can buy the same quality at Wal-Mart for much less with this one. Bummer. We've dined in once, weren't thrilled with the service or atmosphere, but I really feel that speaks more of the owners than the staff. I think the staff does try to be accommodating but it's just a depressing place.

Sisters Adventure Day and it was a google search that lead us to a restaurant with gluten free menu (which I needed) a glass of the best rosé (Chloe) we toasted with and the most amazing lunch we could have asked for. The salmon was perfectly cooked and everything was seasoned to perfection. We both agreed that the chefs cooked with their hearts. Cheers to a wonderful staff!

This is a good reliable burger! I've mostly had In-N-Out Burger in California and Texas and they are consistently good across all the locations visited. The Fries are fresh and crispy, the Vanilla Shake was excellent! Gluten-free options available!

My hubby and I stopped in here today to see what it was like. We were a bit confused on how it worked...grab a menu, then a tray, and then tell them what you want. We had salads, and they were delicious. Pastry looked delicious! Lots of options... gluten free items were marked on the menu which made it super easy for me!

We had dinner there the other night and it was amazing! I had the salmon with grit’s and our waitress (Anne D) was so knowledgeable regarding food allergies. I have celiac and she knew exactly what I could eat. I do wish they had a separate fryer for fries, etc. the dessert was amazing too. It has a great atmosphere and a great outdoor setting area. So if you have well behaved dogs, this is a great place to bring them. If we are ever back in Waco I will be sure to stop by and have dinner there again.

Had a great experience at this location! I have celiac and our son has a severe gluten intolerance & other food allergies. The server was incredible and helped us, and the manager on duty was absolutely wonderful! She went through the whole menu with us, explained that they will cook our food separately in the kitchen from the rest of the party on the hibachi grill. They had GF soy sauce, and explained which sushi rolls we could eat. This was our first time trying this restaurant and we were incredibly pleased with the service & the food!

I recently was diagnosed with Celiac Disease and must have only gluten free foods. I went to the Subway with my husband to get him a sandwich. I had planned on just making something for myself at home. The staff were very kind and let me know that not only did they have gluten free bread, they were willing to use unopened ingredients/toppings from the back to ensure there was no cross-contamination. They washed their hands and changed gloves before handling my food. I am absolutely blown away by how amazing the staff are! They were so understanding and knowledgeable about gluten free needs. As someone who is both gluten and dairy free, what a pleasant surprise!! Being in the south I know that my allergies can be a challenge, but this restaurant had excellent options!! At first glance there doesn’t seem to be much, but the chorizo and shrimp are cooked in oil, not butter and the only thing I was missing out on was the bread. The potatoes were to die for and it was the best food I ate in Waco. Gina, our server, helped us pick The most fabulous wines to match the food we ate and the live music added to the atmosphere. I feel great after the food I ate and we had the best time. If I’m back in Waco, this is the first place im coming! What a gem!

Great server. The food was delicious. The server even helped us modify an appetizer so it was gluten free. She made sure to deliver our food appetizers first, and the meal after that, then dessert after our meal was completed. She kept our beverages filled. It was near closing time (arrived around 9:00),, but we never felt rushed.

We’ve been here 3 times and every time Ryan remembers and gives us 12/10 service and food. I seriously can’t recommend this place enough from the food, to the environment, to the service it’s all amazing. They remember things like my wife being gluten free or our son wanting ketchup with his fries and we’ve only be there 3 times in the past year. If you haven’t checked out Cajun craft you need to!! Everything on the menu is amazing!

Friendly environment and had options for gluten free - cauliflower crust margarita pizza was very good. They are dog friendly too! Charcuterie board was very good as well! They put bread and pretzels on the side so the others with me could have them since I could not.

It has been a while since we have had such great service. I am gluten free and the manager Cheyenne and server Dorian (apologies for the miss spelling of names) were amazing. Very informative about the allergens in the foods. Food was hot, cooked perfect, drinks kept filled and this was during their busy hours at dinner. We will be back!

To be honest I was afraid to try this restaurant that I never heard of but I am glad I did. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of my plate. I ordered a steak with veggies and purple potatoes and it was amazing... everything was melting in my mouth. My kiddos loved their gluten free meals (grilled chicken and sweet potato fries). We ended the meal with a delicious strawberry cheesecake. You need to try this place! The staff is great and welcoming and the food is just amazing!
