Lots of healthy options. I tried their sausage biscuit and Cyprus side salad. The biscuit was good but the salad was stellar! So fresh and delicious. The dressing so light and flavorful. They had lots of gluten free and vegan options. Enjoyed the inside, very warm and inviting.

Our waiter was incredibly friendly and went out of his way to accommodate my wife's dietary restrictions due to celiac disease. He provided a gluten-free menu and ensured that the kitchen was aware of her needs. He made excellent wine recommendations and checked in on us throughout the meal to ensure we were enjoying our experience. As for the food, we were blown away by how delicious and beautifully presented each dish was. The shishito peppers were perfectly cooked and had just the right amount of salt to complement their savory flavor. The calamari was tender and flavorful. The mussels were plump and juicy, and the broth was rich and flavorful. The scallop ceviche was a standout dish, with fresh, bright flavors and delicate textures. For dessert, we couldn't resist trying the creme de catalan, which was a perfect ending to the meal. We paired it with a scoop of almond and floral ice cream, which was rich and creamy, and a glass of sherry that added a lovely depth of flavor. Despite the restaurant being a bit noisy, it didn't detract from our overall enjoyment of the meal. The restaurant's cozy and intimate atmosphere made for a memorable dining experience, and we look forward to returning. Highly recommend!

10/10, this is one of my favorite restaurants to go to, I have Celiac so finding gluten free options are hard but they even have a gluten free menu with plenty of delicious options! I've had 2 different burgers and pizza as well as their lava cake and all were absolutely divine.

We were there Dec.8th,Sunday 6:30pm. As soon as we stood to order, no one recognized our presence. The guy and lady just went on with what they’re doing. Not busy, it’s just us waiting. 2 people seated. They could’ve at least say, We’ll be with you or something. Instead, they just made us wait for about 3mins. We ordered Bacon and brie pasta which is the only one that’s ok that’s why I gave a 2 star. The Supreme pizza and a gluten-free pizza are so dry and tasteless. This is also the dirtiest location we’ve been to. I hope the owner/manager will address the performance of their staff. The attitude they reflected shows that they’re not happy with what they do.

I just went today for a sweet treat for my husband and was pleasantly surprised at the gluten free options that allowed me to be included. The price was fair and service was so friendly. I’ll be returning for a gluten free full size for my birthday this year. It’s so nice they take the steps to not cross contaminate

It has been a while since we visited Taste. Historically have had good service but today even though we clearly stated gluten free due to allergy there was a croton in my wife salad and she got cross contaminated. I took the salad to the staff and they offered to make it again. The second salad had other items not Gluten-free. Very disappointed as they used to have dedicated station for making Gluten-free orders.

We were visiting last spring from the Midwest, and I kept hearing recommendations from locals to eat here… it was wonderful! The church building, the location (we had a fantastic walk all around the neighborhood and waterfront after dinner), and the food were all perfect!!! I have celiac, and their GF options were delicious and I didn’t get sick. My husband and I hope to return one day!

My family came to celebrate a birthday. My son has a food allergy. The server Carson told me that they couldn't do anything to accommodate my son, and this is a seafood restaurant. I said to Carson we go to many seafood restaurants like captain George and they accommodate us.So I asked for the manager. The manager which informed me that the owners daughter has celiac and they use the over for her so I was like please do that for my son.

Went to Saffron Bistro for date night last night. The food is incredible, the restaurant is spotless, and the the staff is welcoming and attentive. I have celiac and was so pleased that the majority of the menu is gluten free. Our servers were very kind and didn’t mind double checking for me that the items I ordered were gluten free. Can’t wait to go back!

Very good vegan selection including mayonnaise with its own menu, and both the vegan shrimp and lobster are gluten free. They have tamari (gluten free soy sauce), and the wasabi is real (very spicy!) and gluten free. Other vegan options include a tofu steak and even ramen. Please note the miso soup and starter salad are NOT gluten-free. Very good service and the staff are knowledgeable about ingredients. They have a nice sushi bar with trained sushi chefs and optional traditional seating, though I wouldn't recommend it for anyone taller than 6'2". Would love to come here again.

Maybe their regular waffles are good, but their gluten free waffles were just about the worst thing we've eaten in a long time. Dense, heavy, and flavorless. The toppings were fine, which saved the meal somewhat. Syrup was just that gummy pancake syrup that's mainly high fructose corn syrup. Lukewarm coffee rounded out the meal, and the folks behind the counter seemed like they'd prefer to be elsewhere. Me too, my man, me too...

My mom cannot eat gluten and their pizzas are baked all in the same over so she wasn’t able to eat anything but a salad, even though the menu includes “gluten-friendly” pizza crusts. Line workers all disappeared when me and my family were next in line and had little to no knowledge about cross-contamination with gluten. Our uncooked pizzas were sitting on the line waiting to be put in the oven while the one line worker made our salads, which extended our time in line. The people behind us had their food put in the oven before ours which confused us. We were in line for probably 45 minutes before we payed, then had to wait longer for our pizzas to finish cooking. Everyone seemed to be upset with us as we were waiting. Honestly I couldn’t wait to leave, felt so uncomfortable.

The food was amazing and the service was superior. Dawn did an amazing job serving the guests. She is hilarious and makes fabulous recommendations. I didn't catch the bartender name but he was very funny and made excellent drinks. This place would make a great date night or hang out with friends. The menu is delicious and fun and has something for everyone. Vegan and gluten friendly items.

If you are locking for a true farm to table, this is it. Lots of vegetarian options as well as gluten free. My roast beef sandwich was delicious.

Solo date at Press 626 Wine Bar. Hidden gem in Norfolk Downtown. Craft cocktails and amazing food. Fresh “Non-alcoholic Cucumber Mint Fresh Squeezed Spritzer”, “Australian Lamb Chops” were absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly, gluten free and the miso tahini hummus with mint chimichurri that came with it was so tasty and of course I had to try their vegan “Mezze Cheese Board”, as a cheese lover is mandatory! Press 626 was amazing, great atmosphere, outstanding costumer service, my bartender Betti was super nice and welcoming. This place is very casual for a fancy place. Definitely recommend if you pass through Norfolk, I personally loved it.

Authentic Bengali family run restaurant serving up simple and homely Bangla food. We were here from Washington DC for a family vacation to Virginia Beach. It is a bit of a drive from the Boardwalk area but definitely worth the trip. Most Indian restaurants here in DC area tend to have a standardized menu of mass produced dishes that taste the same everywhere, Cilantro on the other hand is refreshingly original in its approach and flavor. Their menu seems to change based on what they have fresh for the day and they run specials on a daily basis. Each meal is cooked by the owner herself and you can really feel the attention to the cooking. I caught a glimpse of the kitchen and was surprised to see how much it resembled a kitchen in a home rather than a restaurant. The service was genuine, warm and friendly. Our waiter was one of the family members of the owner of the business and although young, was able to provide us great service and attention. He was very pleasant and made sure we were comfortable and well accommodated throughout out our time at the restaurant. Coming to the most important aspect - the food is absolutely incredibly delicious and the best Bengali/Indian restaurant that we have been to. The servings are generous and the price is great for the quality and quantity of food you receive. The most striking aspect for me was the honesty/simplicity of the preparations which I thought unlocked the flavors of the ingredients used - as opposed to an onslaught of spices that are the standard in most big city restaurants that we have gotten used to in DC. We were served an appetizer of Chop, which was so delicious that we ended up getting everything they had for the day. This place is also great for people with allergies. My nephews that have a myriad of allergies were able to eat everything in the menu with no problem. Great for people with peanut, nut or gluten allergies. If you have a lot of allergies or specific tastes, I would not hesitate to ask the cook for their suggestions and they will gladly give you their recommendation based on the day's menu. We chose the Firni for dessert and it was amazing and was a fitting end to a delightful early dinner. Definitely going here again next time we are in town. I wish we discovered this gem earlier in our vacation so that we could have visited it multiple times.

Ordered pad Thai with chicken breast (meat cost extra). Pad Thai was missing chicken, had a yellowed dehydrated lime wedge next to it, and doesn't seem traditional. Seems Americanized and very few gluten-free, dairy free options. 3.5/10, not impressed

Delicious food and great service! The guys here are awesome - so friendly and genuine. I've yet to encounter any of them in a bad mood much less providing anything other than great service! If you have celiac disease it is safe to eat here! If you ask for a lettuce bun they always ask if you have an allergy and if so they take precautions to ensure no cross contamination. You can also eat the french fries!!! Love this place!!

Solo diner. Monday morning, and I was seated immediately. I like the look of blended old and new decor. I'm a gluten-free diner, so I ordered the steak burrito without a tortilla. It came out in a bowl, and even though the hash browns were on the bottom, they were still crispy! There was a good amount of steak on it, too! I brought my own coffee from my hotel, and they never said anything about it (win-win). There is a surcharge for using a credit card. Rashida is a delight! 😊

My husband decided to have lunch here yesterday since we had previously been to a different location. We chose this due to the gluten free pizza and faux cheese since I can’t have gluten or dairy. A few hours after eating, I became very sick and am still sick today. The pizza absolutely had gluten in it, and I specifically told the waitress I am extremely sensitive to gluten and dairy. What a shame that our family day turned into back to back sick days. This is especially true because we paid a decent amount of money for our food, and I do not appreciate paying for one thing and receiving another.

First, there was Elle (“Ellie”), our superb, professional, well-informed server. A veteran of restaurant work, and thoroughly precise in her entire presentation. Then, there was the food. Outstanding in preparation, quality of ingredients, and flavor combinations. The iceberg salad boasted a stunning array of flavors and garnishes and an emulsified, balsamic vinaigrette. My oysters Rockefeller were forgettable yet tasty, just not the classic I had expected. My wife had the crispy whole (boneless!) trout, and I had a fabulous roasted whole (boneless!) branzino. Both fishes were garnished with some splashes of frissee lettuce, with a sweet, subtle lemon vinaigrette. I didn’t care for the succotash because it included soy beans instead of lima beans. A disappointing, inappropriate blend of corn, carrots, and edamame. Lima beans makes succotash authentic, and this was a strange departure. The passionfruit white chocolate mousse chocolate bomb was a great dessert, well worth trying because it was gluten-free and so satisfying. This was a fabulous experience at Saltine.

Blanca is consistently amazing. We started with the fritto misto and omg! Its light and delicious and gluten free! You’d never know it. I had the shrimp risotto and it was simply perfection. I took my dad and he said it was the best shrimp he’s ever had. A delightful experience. Courtney continues to create a wonderful menu. Stefan was attentive and friendly. What a gem to have in the neighborhood!!

Great atmosphere. Great selection. Comfortable seating area with a relaxed vibe. I usually order online because the menu is so great. I was pleasantly surprised when I went in person. I usually get Coffee which is great but this time I got a smoothie which was also excellent. The smoothie bowls are really good too, they are always filled with fresh fruit and the presentation is beautiful. They do have a gluten free bagel option. The bagel is a little dense honestly but it's nice to have the option.

As someone with a food allergy (Celiac), going out to eat is somewhat scary. Andrew took awesome care of me, checking with the TWO chefs about eggs. He came back with the great news that the Bacon was gluten free too!! Easy and delicious and safe. I went for more coffee and was amazed how clean the kitchen was. This was our first visit as a we will definitely go back. Coffee and tea were both good. We had avocado toast and a Cuban on a gluten free bun. Both were excellent. The server was also very nice. The inside decor was a bit eclectic and comfortable cafe style. I would have given 5 stars, but the outside seating could use some attention. We chose to go there because the have outdoor seating and we liked to take our doggo. The server brought her a bowl of water and was very welcoming. If the patio had been better cared for- swept, etc.. it would instantly have become my new favorite place. Again, we'll definitely go back. Also, plus points for the GF options.

I don’t always have time to meal prep so clean eatz has made my life SO much easier. I have a gluten allergy, a nut allergy and a dairy allergy, l’ve tried other meal prep services and I’m not sure if it’s something they use to cook the food but it will irritate my gut a lot of the time. Clean Eatz is the only place that I’ve never had any issues with. And they’re customizable based on your goals and preferences. All of the locations are great but Norfolk is definitely the best!! Try the watch your waist wrap and thank me later ;)

When we arrived at 7:30pm on a Saturday, we were told that the inside was packed and our only option was to sit in the heated and covered dining area. The heater above our head was louder than the music. For drinks, my fiance enjoyed a pint of New Realm Hazy Like A Fox, while I enjoyed an Arnold Palmer made with Sweet Tea. We weren't super hungry. Jodi enjoyed Salmon Capri made gluten-free. Kevin enjoyed Fresh Clams Strip Basket and a side of fries. I loved how they were crispy. My fiance and I shared a bowl of She Shore Crab Soup, a half dozen of Raw Oysters, and a Bucket of Clams. The She Shore Crab Soup consisted of heavy cream, crabmeat, old bay, and a hint of sherry. It was rich and creamy and tad bit too spicy for me. The Raw Oysters were fresh and served with lemon wedge, cocktail sauce, and horseradish. I was surprised it didn't come with a mignonette. The Bucket of Clams consisted of a bowl of littleneck clams cooked in garlic, butter, white wine, and basil and served with a toasted rustic bread. It was extremely garlicky and salty. My fiance didn't mind it but I wasn't a fan.

Such a great atmosphere. Food presentation,service. Everything was exceptional. It's small so make sure you make reservation on a fri and Sat night. Lobster Gnocchi was phenomenal, the appetizers, the flavors 😋. My girl friend has gluten allergy. They have gluten free pasta and she ordered the Mafaldine di Guanciale. OMG!!!! I ordered a vegan/gluten free cake for my 25th birthday from this bakery just trying to support a local bakery and let me tell you... this cake was amazing!! Everyone at my party was obsessed with it. It was absolutely the best gluten fee cake I have ever had; super fluffy; rich in flavour and the art did not disappoint.
