I would recommend this restaurant, but I would add one thing for those with celiac disease: they market themselves as a restaurant specializing in gluten-free dishes, but in reality, there isn't that much variety. They have some gluten-free pastas and no pizzas. They give you a 10% discount card for the next occasion.

Lovely location, we really enjoyed sitting in one of the tables at the front facing out into the bay and enjoying some wine before dinner. We then had a range of great dishes including delicious dolmades. The garlic mushrooms were a bit weirdly priced but otherwise we got a selection of delicious plates of vegetarian food, particularly helped by their clear marking of gluten free and vegetarian dishes!

We came at 6pm, their opening time. They were too lazy to serve food, waited 15 minutes for someone to take our order and 30 more minutes to serve it. Only us there. We asked for chicken on the grill to be no-gluten, server had no idea what’s gluten, eventually served an awfully taste chicken.

We went on a rainy Sunday early at 1:30 PM and found a table on the sand. We got saganaki, french fries, chef's salad, pork bekri meze, stuffed brisket, pork pancetta, 2 Pepsi, half a kilo of white wine, a couvert with 6 large slices of bread (4.5€), 1lt of water (1.5€) and in total we paid 78.4€. Everything was delicious. The baking was very correct, quality ingredients that stand out, the salad was light enough without weighing you down. The saganaki didn't melt, it was more chewy. Personally, I would have liked to finish the appetizers first and then have the main courses brought to us so they wouldn't get cold. But then the shop filled up both inside and out, so it wouldn't be that easy. At the end, they treated us to small homemade and crispy donuts like bites. Half with honey and cinnamon and the other half with chocolate. What impressed me was the mention in the menus of vegetarian and gluten free dishes with the corresponding sign. Finally, the staff, before we asked them, brought us a bag and a small container for takeaway. Excellent service and clean toilets.

We ordered two starters and the grilled octopus. The starters were pretty basic and the octopus a bit blend. On the bright side, their menu has allergens(gluten).
In the end, they told us(ofc they were bulls*iting us) that the pos is not working and we need to go down the street and get some cash. Of course the ATM had a 25% fee for the cash out.
Bitter tasting experience, I wouldn't recommend this place. Pelekas has many other restaurants that seem nice enough, so you can save some money and don't try this place.
