What can I say...an experience worthy of the Alessandro Borghese 4Ristoranti program. Very nice and clean place, very kind and knowledgeable staff even on gluten-free. We ate everything from appetizers to desserts. Everything was fabulous, we were particularly impressed by the spaghetti alla Nerano with mussels and octopus... they were heavenly... we will definitely be back

Great food I had stuffed zucchini flowers and a bologna pizza which was excellent. My wife had speck and melon starter with a swordfish main course. They were able to cater for gluten allergies really well and my wife has a problem with dairy too that was no problem for the staff. I would recommend the place especially if you have allergies. We parked at the very bottom of the road and walked back up to the restaurant

Restaurant was lovely, I am coeliac and had gluten free lemon pasta ( extra €2) , very nice and not a dish id be able to eat at home, I asked about a Hugo spritz and 4 staff members came to tell me I couldnt have it, but i did find this reassuring, waiter Alex was very good. Portions are big too. Only negative is they provide bread and oils to the table, but 1 gluten free roll was charged at €3 which was a shame when there was no charge for normal bread and was a bigger portion, but I do always expect to pay extra for gluten free, and the heaters outside were not great so it was quite cold outside

Delicious gluten free pasta. No matter which pasta dish you order if you want gluten free, it will be gnocchi. But delicious nonetheless. Service was welcoming, friendly and attentive. Beautiful restaurant and a reprise from the heat.

The food was delicious and beautifully done. I am coeliac and the hostess was very helpful in suggesting menu items, and letting me know about possible substitutions. When I made an order she and the kitchen recommended I have it with rice instead of substituting for gluten free pasta, and I'm so glad I listened - it made a delicious risotto-esque dish and is one of the best things I've eaten in Italy. They clearly know the menu back to front and really care about delivering their dishes at their very best, while also being very supportive of requests. Lots of local ingredients and clearly an extremely skillful kitchen! The hostess was very attentive and gave us some really helpful suggestions about a nearby walk, and even gave us directions on Maps. We only came to Vico for a day trip, but would love to come here again!

My husband and I went to d’pignatello last night at the recommendation of our hotel and it exceeded our expectations. The level of service was above and beyond. I felt 100% secure that care was taken to accommodate my gluten allergy. The food was the clean, simple, Italian coastal fare we were in the mood for - a light starter salad, a grilled orata expertly cleaned by the woman serving us, a vegetable side dish that was pieced together like art, a crisp local white wine. We ordered a local orange spin on limoncello for dessert which was divine. We’ll be back again, next time with with a bigger appetite!

Starter (bread, ham, cheese) was very tasty. Main course (pizza) was okay. When it comes to gluten-free pizzas, you have to remember that they are based on the Schär pizza base dough. Service itself was great. Very quick and on the ball. There was also a small welcome champagne.

Spartan place but top quality fish. Nothing to add other than CONGRATULATIONS. I would like to point out that they are prepared gluten-free and have gluten-free pasta. On the latter no problem. No gluten-free frying though.

A great fish restaurant. We tried a few different raw starters and everything was very fresh and delicious. They have gluten free pasta and the pasta with clams that we ordered was some of the best gluten-free pasta that I’ve tried. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

Il Veliero is a gem! The bread and pasta were excellent, and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. For those with dietary restrictions, they offer a wide variety of gluten-free desserts, which was incredibly impressive. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality. 5 star place!! I have always found freshly caught fish and the quality is incredible. The owner is celiac so there is a lot of attention to gluten-free dishes. Possibility to eat all the sauces, obviously the type of pasta changes. I also managed to eat the fried fish, exceptional! I highly recommend going to this restaurant, it's the best ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I stumbled upon this place by chance! They were also very kind because we arrived late but they still waited for us; Very nice family run place. I must say that we were pleasantly surprised, all the dishes were very good and plentiful, we made a nice discovery!
