On holiday abroad, eating gluten-free is always difficult, especially due to the risk of contamination... I recommend this pizzeria positively for the availability of gluten-free dishes (pizzas, first courses and a dessert). The pizza I chose, bufalina, had excellent ingredients, quality raw materials, which compensated for the toasted gluten-free pizza base that we celiacs know well. My travel companions also enjoyed the pizza, and found it extremely digestible. The waitress who served us was also very kind and professional. Good quality/price. Advise!!!
Enjoy a cozy atmosphere with a French vibe, friendly dogs, and a diverse menu that's perfect for breakfast or lunch.

This is not a good place for gluten free diets as some have pretended. The menu specifies the allergens, but that’s all. Having some gluten free bread slices to go with your omelet isn’t a big effort. The bread isn’t even home made, they didn’t even manage to toast it at least. So once and for all, let me confirm that there are no specifically adapted recipes and products for gluten free people.
Get ready for a cozy vibe with unique burgers, refreshing local drinks, and a great atmosphere that everyone loves, especially in summer!

Very delicious food, very nice service!
You can order the hamburger with a gluten-free bun, it was indicated that cross-contamination may occur.
There was also GM beer.

Great food!! Awesome desserts! Gluten free options. They were rude on the phone while wanting to make a reservation and not very attentive when we arrived.
Chill by the river in a cozy spot with unique desserts and refreshing dairy-free drinks, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the atmosphere.

If you happen to be in Ljubljana, and have food intolerances, you’re not in a happy place. But Cacao café can give you some consolation and relief. They have different vegan and gluten free cakes, that are really delicious, and their beverages have always dairy free options. I advise you to try the golden milk with curcuma, a mighty spicy drink for those cold days, and the hit chocolate with almond milk. Thanks to cacao café, I have a taste of Slovenia refined pastry. 🙏
P.S.: yes I gained some weight 🙂↕️

Very good breakfast, especially if you are celiac. They make gluten free pancakes, I ordered two pancakes with eggs, bacon and maple syrup, and it was delicious! I recommend it 100%

Parma is one of the cutest pizzerias in Ljubljana. It has tradition and character. The pizzas are smaller and thicker than usual and have a lot of toppings. The names of the pizzas are unique and can come with gluten free dough.
A must-visit for vegan food lovers, boasting unique dishes, a cozy atmosphere, and a popular reputation that fills up quickly.

WOW!!! I have been to many vegan restaurants all over the world and our experience at Gaudi&Naan is one of the best! ⭐️
The food was excellent! I had never tried the Juicy Marble steak and I am a vegan who never missed meat and I actually normally steer far away from meat imitations. But this one I really wanted to try.
At Gaudi&Naan they had prepared it perfectly! 👌 It comes with a pepper sause and wonderful sides. The meat of the vegan steak is salty and falls apart and has a very nice texture.
We also enjoyed the curry!
I have to mention that lovely Maria squeezed us in after I was visibly sad when they were out of capacity because a colleague had fallen ill. Maria was absolutely full of love and let us dine although she had a full restaurant to take care of all alone - I am so grateful. Thank you!
Ah, PS. Almost everything on the menu is gluten free and it was safe for me as a someone with celiac disease.
PS 2. Maria paired the stake perfectly with a nice glass of red wine.
A must-visit gem with incredible flavors and a diverse menu that leaves travelers raving about the experience!

Amazing, best food we’ve had travelling around Europe this month. The stuffed vine leaves, falafel, and vegetable tajine were all incredible. The olives were very tasty. Would highly highly recommend. Very good for gluten free choices too as we have a coeliac/celiac in our group.
This cozy spot is perfect for indulging in traditional sausages and local stews, all enjoyed in a charming outdoor setting.

Hole in the wall kind of shop with a super limited menu and basically only outdoor seating - they serve the local sausage + 2 local stews. I had the jota, a stew with sausage and beans, which is naturally gluten free, while my boyfriend had the titular klobasarna sausage in a bun. Cheap beer and wine available too.
Beautiful and clean, this spot offers a delightful ambiance and fresh flavors that keep people coming back for more.

The coffee tastes alright but the service gave me an unfriendly impression. Also the chocolate cake (bonus because it was gluten free) sadly tastes more like lemon than chocolate which was very disappointing.
This hidden gem serves incredibly creamy gelato with unique flavors that could rival those in Italy, plus some dairy-free options to enjoy!

I found this little gelateria by occasion. They use separate scoops and have gluten-free tastes. They have dairy free options, too. The ice cream is very delicious but as they also have gluten cones the scoop may come in contact with the gluten cones - so it won’t be ok for celiac or very sensitive people. The tastes I tried are really delicious! I liked them even more than the ones I tried in Italy during the last trip. Soo creamy and full - even the dairy free option!
A good place to go when you suffer coeliac disease. I went there last summer and they took their time to tell me which things contained gluten and said that they also could prepare a gluten free version of others.
Dive into a vibrant, inclusive spot with a charming atmosphere, great company, and wallet-friendly prices, perfect for any meal of the day!

Super inclusive dinner! The central location of the restaurant certainly does justice to the environment: pleasant and happiness-inspiring. There aren't many places: there are tables both inside and outside towards the small square in front, but it's definitely best to book. We hadn't thought about it and waited half an hour to sit down, but it was worth it; another very nice thing: we met an American boy who was in line alone in front of us, so in the end we all ate together, filling our table of 4. If the wonderful environment, which is also part of a project that provides work to disabled kids, should it not be enough to convince tourists and locals to at least drop by, even the food, although quite simple, was typical, very good and very cheap compared to the average in the city center (e.g. typical Slovenian dumplings €9, goulash €10, side dish of roast potatoes €4, potato and sausage meatballs €8.50, glass of local wine €3; also very nice that water is brought to all tables for free). Finally, the excellent attention to allergies is also very useful for me as I am celiac (and abroad I may have some more difficulties): in fact, the possible allergens are indicated under all the dishes!
Therefore, I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone for any occasion: breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner (be careful that they close at 10pm, so they only take tables until around 9.30)! Gorgeous 😍
