I was shocked to see a negative review from a gluten-free person. I, too, am gluten free, and I have found them to always be very accommodating, including the non-soy soy sauce that they bring without my having to ask. We have eaten at M Sushi many times over the time since they first opened their doors next to The Durham, and we have never had anything but a superb experience. There are always differences of opinion, but we love M Sushi and will be heading there for our 25th wedding anniversary with the people who designed Mike's space.

I have celiacs and was worried I wouldn’t have much to choose from, but was so wrong! The service was some of the best I’ve ever received, celiacs or non. They truly bend over backwards to make sure you have a great experience and don’t feel like you have a limited menu. Our favorite restaurant in Nags Head! The menu has so many options for gluten free/dairy free and so many tasty options for my allergy-free husband. This restaurant has it all - absolutely delicious, flavorful, allergy/diet preference food and excellent servers! Our waitress was patient and friendly, provided great recommendations and substitutions. Our food came out quickly and was so well prepared. Portions are satisfying without being too much. I got the veggie fresh rolls with miso soup and my husband has the pork dumplings and general tso chicken. There’s so many more dishes we want to try and we will definitely be back.
