My husband, son and I came here for a birthday dinner and it was absolutely fabulous. I could not be more pleased with the staff and the food. We've had Mikasa delivery a few times and finally got to go in person. It's a nice, small, restaurant with a few tables along 1 wall. The waitresses were friendly and helpful with our questions before ordering.
We got the gyoza, edamame, miso ramen, laksa ramen (made gluten free), cali & avocado rolls, and a poke bowl. Everyone was very happy with their order and gobbled it. The laksa was nicely spicy and the soft boiled egg in the ramen was so good.
We'll definitely be back!

I work around the area, and this was my first time going to Oishi Mika Sushi. I left feeling very satisfied. The service was fast, and the food came out quickly. I ordered two rolls off the menu, and I didn't realize it, but since I went during the lunch hour, it was part of a lunch special. It came with miso soup and a marinated cucumber salad, both of which were good. The soup was salty and flavorful, and the marinade on the cucumbers was tangy and sweet. I was surprised when my bill was cheaper than both the rolls I ordered from the menu - presumably because of the lunch special. I am also gluten-free, and they answered my questions around the ingredients as well as provided gluten-free soy sauce. My friend also enjoyed his meal, and we both decided to come back for another visit. It's clean and a decent atmosphere.

Wonderful. We sat at a booth but I think a chair beside the conveyor belt would be the most fun. Food is very affordable. We could see a chef slicing salmon. Very cool. Food prepared right in the center of the restaurant!!!❣️ Had asparagus rolls, crab salad rolls, California rolls, tempura shrimp rolls. On average $1 per roll. There were cookies and fruit, watermelon and grapes. Egg rolls. Dumplings. Yum. Wait staff was super friendly and kept refilling our drinks. Couldn't ask for better service or food. My daughter comes here all the time and just loves it. Lots of parking. Lots of gluten free options and vegetarian options. Stuffed mushrooms looking amazing. 👍🌻🍉😸 Definitely coming back again.

Wonderful service & delicious food! It was nice to see such a smooth running business - all of the employees were naturally helping the other and it wasn't a "your section, your business" type of place. They were always looking out for the customers so no one was stuck waiting for help.

I’m so happy this restaurant moved into the neighborhood! Tonight I had the tuna roll and the rainbow roll (both gluten free) and my husband had the volcano roll and a spicy tuna roll. We also ordered the edamame. We were both full, satisfied, and felt the price was reasonable.
I can definitely see myself becoming a regular here.

most economical, consistent sushi in Portland. I am always impressed with how delicious the sushi is here. The fish is always very fresh, rice perfectly seasoned and rolls expertly made. They even have Gluten Free soy sauce. This place is tidy and minimal. It smells like the ocean inside, clean and briny. The staff are always very polite and eager to help. You can feel the care and quality of the food you are being served.
This restaurant is great. Their food is delicious and their service is top-notch. My son and I are gluten-free and they are very helpful for finding and creating things that we can enjoy.

Live right around the corner and this is our go to sushi spot! Incredible staff, so pleasant and attentive! On top of the phenomenal service they have gluten free tempura which feels like such a treat. I also highly recommend chance of rain. If you’re on Mississippi you need to stop here!

Affordably priced sushi! They have vegan and gluten free options too. Tofu is tasty and the rolls are fresh. Love the ikura sushi- not many outlets serve this..Visited a few times with friends while living out in nob hill and the bento sets are really worth it. The cucumber side is a bit of an overkill though- too filling and the slices could be a bit smaller instead of giant chunks. Perhaps there could be a serving of pickles or radish or carrots/ all 3 mixed otherwise it looks like a giant cucumber being cut up and dumped in the box (unfortunately I didn't take a photo of it as my phone battery was low), photos here are from previous visits.
The bowls are amazing, all their sauces are gluten free, and they have gluten free krab salad! The dining area is the lobby of the Moxy, and has great atmosphere. So good!

First time in and probably last unfortunately. I think there was a miscommunication but I think my notes were clear.
I ordered several dishes for 3 ppl. In the notes for the poke bowl I wrote “gluten free dairy free egg free and no spice in this dish please” and that dish had some spice and maybe they made the entire order to follow these instructions because we didn’t get any regular soy sauce. When I showed up to pick up the guy was very attentive and asked about the GF and asked how much GF soy sauce I wanted and chopsticks. So I figured it’s all good because he was so attentive and on point. But we didn’t get any regular soy sauce or wasabi at all. And my roll which was supposed to be spicy, was not. so all in all it was kind of bland.
Only based on one visit so I give 3 stars.
