Visited today for lunch. Excellent service and good atmosphere. Vegan burger selection very good with gluten free baps and onion rings. Staff very helpful with allergies. My partner had a beef burger which he said was very good. Meat sourced locally, nothing frozen. Would definitely recommend a visit

We were given an area off main dining area as there were 8 in our party. Waiters were great and were very patient and helpful. Food was lovely and just had an issue of Dairy Free and Gluten Free. Difficult to get both in same dish. Just one or other!

Nicely decorated space with a clean toilet. Service quite bad, we got the bill before dessert. The dirty plates remained on the table until dessert arrived. The taste of the food did not really resemble Italian food. Prices quite high. The gluten-free options are a plus, but we still wouldn't go back.

My daughter is gluten-sensitive and type 1 diabetic, and we found divine pizza for her here. The staff was perfect, they even checked the carbohydrate content of the pizza base.And the children's chocolate shake is something fantastic. My partner and I also ordered.

I would like to say I took my husband out for a meal here for his birthday. I'm coeliac and I felt so comfortable with how the two members of staff made me feel. We had an amazing experience and the food was excellent and the service was very good and friendly and very professional . Thank you we will be back with our granddaughter as she's coeliac and doesn't feel comfortable with eating out . But I'm sure this is the right place to get her out and enjoying her self. Have gluten-free etc options but the food is very bland and disappointing, despite using decent ingredients. Their coffee is terrible, I know only one place in Cambridge which serves worse brew than this. Won’t come again.

I recommend a 100% for celiacs and for people looking for good gluten free crepes. I was waited by 2 super nice girls who knew about celiac disease and reassured me that the place is safe and that everything is done separate. And the crepes were ridiculously delicious.😍😍 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This restaurant is not coeliac-friendly. The staff did not provide the assistance and support I expected; instead, they seemed indifferent and gave unhelpful responses. It was the first time in my life that I felt uncomfortable in a restaurant due to my coeliac condition. The dinner was a disappointing experience. At least food for the rest of customers was fine.

Delicious freshly cooked food and great service; it was clear that ingredients were good quality and fresh, and each dish was well prepared. Staff were polite, friendly and knowledgeable. There was lots of choice on the menu - allergen information was easy to find, and a gluten free menu is available. The restaurant itself was clean and well presented with a welcoming feel. We will definitely be visiting again in future.

Went for a mini date night and had heard amazing things about Bread & Meat. Honestly amazing food my other half had the honey soy chicken sandwich with a side of poutine and it was all stunning. I chose the phikky cheese steak bowl (gluten free as I am coeliac) and it was amazing, highly highly reccomend we will be back at some point!

Busy, friendly cafe off the main avenues of central Cambridge. Seating is downstairs, upstairs and outside across the road! Order excellent coffee at the till and get a table number stand for your drinks to be served to you. Superb gluten free brownies and cakes, helpfu,l friendly staff. Also does takeaway drinks in standard sizes, none of that Venti, Grande sizing, just a mug full of excellent tasting coffee and if you want more, order two!!

Very disappointing today..... 4 ladies treating ourselves before Christmas. Booked well in advance and advised that 1 x gluten free and 1 x no chocolate, it makes me very ill. (We have been previously with no issues). Lady confirmed on arrival and again by another member of staff in our compartment. Tea ordered and arrived quickly. Then it all went downhill. My (chocolate free) arrived and it was the little sandwiches and 4 scones and a tiny mince pie. I asked if this was really what I was supposed to have,? No alternative, that was what they had to offer me! I said that I did not wish 4 scones.... would anyone? If that was all I was being offered I would have the regular offering and take them home. Next server can in...she was chatty and said she totally understood. By this time gluten free has arrived and had a egg custard tart with raspberries..... oh I could eat that! Asked if possible. She went to ask and sadly no, not possible at the time, the cook would come to speak to us. I said I'd rather not as all the experience was to be with my friends not going over this again to everyone. It was really not comfortable rehashing what couldn't be changed. Chef appeared and basically told us that the menu changed seasonally and we should have been told limitations when we booked. We certainly were not advised of 4 scones!. Next another lady popped in to say we had to go to 'the barn' to pay. We finished our 2 hour session, collecting boxes to take bits home. Went to barn to pay, usually pay on train. When asked lady said that this was new method they were using. Paid. Whilst we were saying our goodbyes in the car park... no other guests went via the barn. We asked and all had paid at their table. Popped back into barn and lady said 'no I decided you should come here'/'to ask how your afternoon tea was'........ She never had asked as I would certainly have told her my total disappointment of my experience. When a booking is made in advance, with dietary needs, please do NOT accept it if you can't cater for it. A relaxed chilling time with friends became just quite awful and spoilt totally by the '4 scones' or nothing and the repetition.

We had a delicious meal at Kibou. The atmosphere is pleasant, different areas at the restaurant. The staff was ver friendly, attentive to my gluten free needs. The menu has plenty of options for food and drinks. Food was well presented, tasty, good value.

Atmosphere great. Waited an hour for starters - which were very tasty and well cooked. Waited over another hour for main course. Mushroom risotto was very watery but as we'd been so long waiting we refused a replacement meal. As I am gluten free my pizza took even longer to arrive but it was tasty. The gluten free pizza base was supposed to be £2 extra - very unfair. Veggie and vegan not charged extra but my allergy is a medical issue not a life style choice. It was deducted after we complained. Most of the food and wine was delicious but I didn't feel very comfortable.

A lovely little find, after following their hand-written sign. Just what we needed, as there was a great lunch menu! I was also surprised to find a good choice of gluten free cake, and also bread so I could choose anything off the menu. All explained and served with a cheerful smile. Great place.

Amazing Gluten Free Food. I walked in explained I was coeliac, the lady was delightful showing my all the GF cakes she had. She then offered to make up a Turkish mezze, that would be gluten free. It included aubergine and cauliflower 2 things I would normally avoid, it was delicious! I will be back. Fingers crossed GF Baklava is featuring 😋

My favorite coffee shop in the world! Literally the best coffee I've ever had, a varied/sophisticated/rotating menu of savory/brunch items, and delicious cakes! So many thoughtful details like SOUND INSULATION, a killer jazz playlist, and very sturdy tables makes this an absolutely exceptional establishment. My celiac boyfriend eats their gluten free food without problems! Couldn't recommend more!
