MUST try their GF DF carrot cake cupcakes. Amazing.

Be unreasonably long usually. Sometimes the food is super amazing and sometimes you’ll have to ask them to remake it. We’ve been coming here for 18 years and still love it even when it can be bad sometimes. In anchorage this is my favorite cafe as they have amazing options and the best hot beverages. However: the gluten free cookies and cupcakes and other treats they have are absolutely the best in town. They have different GF treats whenever we go. I love their selection. If only other places had such amazing gf treats. Not sure about their food options. Their matcha latte and coffee are just bomb.
Service is either amazing and lovely or some atitude depending on who you get. We usually the the lovely people!

Absolutely the best Thai/Laotian food in town. I’ve eaten here so many times I’ve probably paid for one of the their locations LOL. I wish Pho Lena opened a franchise around the USA, it’s that good. If you don’t like spicy food these are my favorites (gluten free too): chicken pad Thai, fresh rolls, beef sidewalk noodles with extra sauce and limes.

OMG..
My wife and I flew several thousand miles from Honolulu to Anchorage and stumbled across this small little restaurant with BIG aloha as “Paul” provided the sense of ‘ohana.
The Gluten-free option was an ultimate plus and the out-of-this-world salad bar was crazy delicious.
My wife had the BLT in “gf” bread and I had the run of the mill spaghetti with marinara sauce.
NOTHING… I mean nothing was “run of the mill”… the food was super over-the-top ‘ono (delicious), the service was warm and expedient, and the atmosphere made me feel like I was in a cozy restaurant in Hawaii with local “Jawaiian” music playing in the background.
When they served in-house meals in take-out containers… I was a bit surprised, However, once you “attempt” to eat their generous portions…. you have an epicurial epiphany… the portions are so large, your gustatory gallop through the meal leaves a large portion of leftovers… so for your dining convenience, you merely close your take-out and carefully take it home and plan when next you will get to enjoy the rest of your tasty delight at home in your own gastric anticipation.
Mahalo, Paul, for the awesome dining experience !!

Worth swinging by this Kaladi’s location if you are in the Spenard area. Quick and friendly service, lots of room to accommodate their regulars, warm atmosphere and many great pastries, sandwiches and snacks offered. Several keto, vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options as well. The coffee is always good, never a bad cup at any Kaladi’s location!

Great place to eat with lots of gluten-free options.
This airport restaurant features a relaxing atmosphere with good music and notably nice decor, creating a pleasant setting. However, those seeking gluten-free options should be cautious due to serious cross-contact risks and inconsistent service impacting the gluten-free experience.

Great gluten free bun so the 49th St Burger was great. However, they asked if I want fries and I said I did but what they didn't tell me is that they are breaded...very disappointed. Over all good experience but they have room to improve.
