The food was awesome! And Henry is the man! His recommendations were the selections that I went with and he took care of me with regard to my gluten allergy. I went with the red fish and it was so good. It was the perfect end to my 60th birthday celebration in the Big Easy.

A cute little breakfast place with friendly staff with a very creative selection of donuts. Their breakfast sandwiches are, frankly, amazing. I got a turkey sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit. It may sound weird, but the eggs were the best part. They were succulent and creamy and honestly the best eggs I've ever had on a breakfast sammy. The raspberry cheesecake donut was decadent with chunks of crunchy graham cracker crust and a raspberry astride a raspberry iced donut with light, fluffy cheesecake filling. You can also see the entire cook process, with the baking station in the back, The grill station in the middle, and the coffee station up front next to the register by the door. I enjoyed watching them make kolaches while I chomped on my massive donut. They do have a gluten-free option or two, but I didn't ask about cross-contamination. Highly recommend.

I've actually been living in the same block as Coquette for a year now and because I have Celiac (gluten free required diet) I was apprehensive about trying this restaurant. I'm now kicking myself for waiting so long. I had a work dinner there the other night and was absolutely blown away by the service, the knowledge of our server about what was actually gluten free (without cross contamination), and the caliber of the incredible dishes that I had. I could rant and rave about the food all day and night and while I do have limited options when I dine out, I don't have a pallet that's easy to blow my mind. Well, Coquette blew my mind. Every dish I had was incredible and what's more is that our server quickly, kindly, and assuredly pointed out everything on the menu that was safe. I had the pan roasted cauliflower (best cauliflower dish I've ever had), little gem salad (made gf), and the duck. Each plate was better than the last and there was that extra amount of assurance from the server that everything was truly gluten free that made the meal that much more incredible. Maybe this review is more impactful for folks that need a gluten free diet but I'll stand by the fact that regardless of the extra awesome gluten free experience that I had, anyone would be blown away by the depth of flavor and complexity of the dishes at Coquette. If you're a Celiac though, it's transformative.

We had such a fun time at the Friday night drag/burlesque show!! Came in with a bachelorette party and they treated us so well. One of our friends eats vegan and gluten free (not super easy to find either option in NOLA) and they accommodated her with a special order. Service was prompt considering how packed they were and the food and drinks were great.

First post COVID-19 New Orleans meal(snack, actually) Drove from Birmingham early morning to stay with friends in the Irish Channel. Walked to Molly’s and almost left when I saw the dining room was closed. Then I saw the open window on the side street with the young man taking orders. I opted for the vegan and gluten free Tamales which are made with morita chile spiced masa and are filled with mushroom, carrot and potato. Two per order and they come with a creamy jalapeño dipping sauce, which I tasted, but didn’t use only because my spice tolerance is pretty low and there was already a nice zip to the tamales. With a refreshing iced chai added to drink, it made for a lovely light meal that was quickly delivered to my curbside table. Points, too for the order taker offering everyone ordering a cup of cold water. Nice touch!
