I will follow this restaurant to every location they move to! The food is absolutely phenomenal, full of perfectly balanced spices, not too heavy, hot, fast and delicious. Wide variety on the menu and lots of options even for vegans or gluten free. Would go here every week if I could. Our favorites: vegetable makhani, goat madras, and the paneer tikka masala. Take out is great but food is even better if you can make it in person!
A favorite spot for locals, celebrated for its vibrant atmosphere, quick service, and a unique small-plate dining experience.

Lone star is my FAVORITE taco place in the north. I've been eating here for over 10 years at this point. The avocado griddled queso taco is a must- have. The house margarita is awesome, too. Never NOT enjoyed my meal or drinks here. Almost everything on the lunch and dinner menus are gluten free. I don't order breakfast here much since the use flour tortillas for those dishes.
This is mostly small plate style, so order a few things. Prices have gone up a bit over the years. Wouldn't call it cheap. I don't blame the place, I blame the economy.
This is a place I bring out of towners to and celebrate things like birthdays at. Food always comes out quickly. It's got a good vibe and NO SPORTS ON MASSIVE SCREENS. I get take out, delivery, and eat in. Can verify that the food quality does not suffer if you aren't eating in. The place can get cramped because I'm not the only one who loves this place.
Parking can be terrible with all the resident only areas on all the side streets.
From chic event spaces to a cozy bakery, this spot delivers amazing experiences and personalized touches for any gathering.

We had our wedding at Batifol, with ceremony next door at the bakery. It was literally the most amazing experience. The Batifol team was extremely responsive, organized, and executed everything perfectly. The food was amazing - all of our guests said their Salmon and steak were cooked perfectly! And they allowed dietary changes for guests with all different kinds of restrictions (vegan, gluten free allergies). 100% recommend any day of the week. I also love their brunch and dinner menus. And If you want to have an intimate event, their event coordinators are out of this world!!! Thank you all for making out day so perfect!

It was my best experience at Japanese restaurant! They have many gluten free options; salmon teriyaki is very tasty, and dragon maki is best of the best. All products are very fresh. In two days we were here 4 times!!! GOD BLESS FUJI!!!
Best hummus in Boston/Cambridge! Amazing sides and salads. Decent shawarma. I recommend the salad bowl, which comes with shawarma, two sides, and pita.
- Hummus: rich, smooth, creamy. The enticing aroma of sesame seeds is combined with a lively acidity from lemon juice. The best of the best.
- Fried cauliflower: nutty, fragrant, melt-in-your-mouth soft, worth the extra oil consumed.
- Moussaka: eggplant and chickpeas cooked in tomato sauce. Amazing!
- Falafel: crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, yet healthier than French fries.
- Tabbouleh, Fattoosh, and Greek salads: all pretty good!
- Beef/Lamb shawarma: moist and tender, a bit sour (from lemon juice?).
- Spicy chicken shawarma: flavorful but not spicy at all, a few burnt bits.
- Pita: excellent gluten development, very chewy/springy.
- Tahini sauce: amazing!
- Garlic sauce: the one thing they need to improve on. Tastes like they added a tiny amount of garlic to store-bought mayonnaise.
Delicious offerings with standout specialties and a vibe that welcomes everyone, making it a must-visit spot for all taste preferences.

Super friendly service and absolutely wonderful food! Good for vegetarians and carnivores alike, gluten free options available. The kaddo appetizer is honestly out of this world, and the bowlawni are lovely too. Will definitely be going back!

I will most definitely be coming back here for Indian food. It feels like you're getting a home-cooked meal, and as a gluten-free vegetarian, it's wonderful to see I have options. The hibiscus tea and masala chai were both excellent drinks. I might just have to buy a bottle of their Gussa sauce the next time I'm in.
Great labeling makes it easy to navigate the menu, and the outdoor seating adds to the vibrant atmosphere.

As a gluten-free eater, I was pleasantly surprised by how well everything was labeled. The lemongrass fried chicken on a noodle salad, with the miso lime dressing, was absolutely delicious, and really hit the spot. Would highly recommend! Plenty of seating inside and out.
I'm a creature of habit and will get the same thing(s) for years before trying something new. Tatte has the absolute best gluten free bread I have ever eaten. The avocado they put on their breakfast sandwiches is a guacamole consistency, and they use lime. So I get the egg sandwich, with either haloumi or Vermont cheddar, and the kind of tangy/delicious avocado on top, and it is to die for.
THAT BEING SAID, both Kendall square locations have issues with their eggs. There is one person in each establishment who can do Over Medium consistently. Most times I get very hard or very runny.
I came here with a large work group, so my experience may not be relevant to everyone. I have a gluten allergy and I asked if anything will be gluten free. First, they had preselected dishes for our table on a menu that wasn't labeled. Second, the waiters did not know what did or didn't contain gluten. Third, I couldn't eat anything that came out to the table, though they kept promising they would bring something soon. Finally they brought out some crab dish that was covered in tempura flakes and vehemently tried to convince me it's gluten free. I kept telling them it wasn't. They left, then came back and took the tray away. At that point it was pretty clear I can't trust them and I left. Very disappointed to have had to leave my conference, and that they did not care about their guests enough to prepare some food I could eat for an hour. It could be that the organizers did not flag to them that they have people with allergies coming. Not sure.
