Yeah I asked For A Chicken Cesar Salad and when I got my order in they gave me a Tuna Salad with cranberry’s I dislike cranberry’s and my cousin got pissed at the server because she saw that they do indeed have Cesar salads and I specifically asked for one with chicken on top and yes the other people working or not working were yelling laughing and speaking other languages that I could not understand and the lady who took my order said we don’t have Cesar salads and that’s when things get hard and she finally took my order and I also ordered a grilled cheese that was pretty good the cheese was rich and gooey which I like! I did tell the server to not waste food and eat the incorrect order but she threw it away! My cousin is gluten free so that’s the only reason why she liked the place! I wasn’t expecting it to be like a mini supermarket! The atmosphere is nice I do have to say! When the Salad Finally came it was good! My cousin tried a piece of chicken and she said it tasted Great! I found capers in my salad I’m not a Fan of them

My husband and I have been to the Sweet Basil in Waltham on numerous occasions which is why I'm able to recommend all of the food that is posted. We went for the first time to the Sweet Basil in Needham and we were equally as plesed. For starters, we had the Pesto with Fresh Bread, and the Garden Vegtable Risotto. . For our entrees, I had Salmon on Cold Orzo Salad with Asparagus and my husband chose the Gluten Free Shrimp Sscampi. This dishes are the creation and expertise of Dave,the owner, and the adjective AMAZING sums up the excellence of every dish and beverage served there. I highly recommend this restaurant. In fact, I'm taking the book ,"Sweet Basil," written by the owner. Dave Becker, shares all of these delicious and savory recipes on my vacation where I'll be cooking for my on family. Definitely avoid this place if you have a gluten allergy. The gluten free "pizza" is just a tortilla with some cheese on it, and the flatbread is that same tortilla cut into strips. Meanwhile, the gluten pizza is completely bland. The manager was at least nice enough to give us a break on the bill for the sub-par experience.

We decided to try here for the first time for hibachi. The atmosphere was nice. The prices were high for the small portions of food, which is why I'm giving only 3 stars. There is an upcharge if you want both noodles and rice. I'm comparing this to Sake in Mansfield, MA, where there are large portions and everything is included for around the same price. The food was good and we enjoyed the meal otherwise. They can accommodate a gluten free option.
