I love everything I've had here, which is everything except the salads! I'm no longer able to eat gluten and I love that I can still eat most everything here.

Me and my husband had this for our baby free date night the other night. Had a gluten free Buffalo pizza and substituted the blue cheese for feta! And it was delicious! Cait our server was also very good at helping us! Will be visiting against

I got a steak and chicken fajitas. I gave the service 4 stars because I ordered corn tortillas and the kitchen gave me flour tortillas and I'm gluten free. The wait staff was great. I couldn't understand why I got one slice of a tomato normal slices of tomatoes for fajitas. All in all, a nice place to get some Mexican food

Wow Culver's drive-thru. How do you make a burger look so unappetizing?! Apparently you just THROW all the food in the boxes. And to not only disregard the request for NO CHEESE but to cover the now inedible pretzel bites with it. Specifically asked for ketchup, got none. Specifically asked for the gluten free bun NOT to be warmed, disregarded. Doubt I'll be coming back to this location.

Our server was Kimberly. One of my grandchildren has Celiac and another is gluten intolerant and Kimberly was awesome at helping them feel comfortable with the fact that they were taking their need for gluten free seriously. They loved the gf options and really appreciated the flexibility that the restaurant had in giving them as many options as possible. The food was great and Kimberly's attitude and friendless helped to make this an experience with my grandchildren that we all will remember for many years to come. Thank you all for that experience.

We came because my husband can't eat gluten and he got excited about all of the gluten-free options. He was not disappointed!
The food tasted great!
I had the lunch buffet. It's $12.50 a person, with less variety than you'd find at a cheaper buffet-only kind of place. But it was quality pizza.
A go-to spot with a clean, refurbished interior, offering great value for money and a variety of options for all dietary preferences.

Walked in with very little idea what to expect. Which is, firstly, that you should have a reservation. The decor could be overwhelming if it wasn't so well put together. The restaurant is also an antique store, so a lot, if not all, of the decor, is for sale, along with another floor or two of antiques, which I did not visit.
Back to the lack of reservation - the manager said they could serve the two of us in half an hour, and we were welcome to view the garden in the meantime. The garden is gorgeous, with plenty of shade along the walkway, and outdoor seating and it was somehow cooler there than anywhere else on this summer day.
When it was time for us to order, it was a tough decision. Menu items range in price mostly from $16-30. It was more than I'd anticipated, but not unreasonable. I wanted to eat light, and got salmon and herbed cream cheese bruschetta, minus the bread, since I'm gluten free. My companion got a housemade chicken salad sandwich with a side of potato salad.
The portion sizes completely justified the price. I got 4 thin slices of salmon rolled up with cream cheese (the server said the kitchen had fun making that) on a bed of shredded romaine, topped with housemade (bread & butter style) pickles, picked red onion, sliced hard boiled egg, crumbled goat cheese, and capers. There was a slice of orange and of watermelon on the side. The chicken salad was on thick toasted bread. It also came with fruit and pickles. We both decided the pickles were tasty, but too spicy.
We considered dessert, but were already taking home half of our meals, so we declined. The options were lemon cake with mascarpone filling, flourless chocolate torte, or créme bruleé.
UPDATE 6/22/23:
Went with my husband for our anniversary. Dinner entrée prices range from $20-60.
I had a grilled salmon with apricot sauce, rice pilaf and sautéed vegetables on the side. My husband got a tenderloin steak with loaded baked potato and sautéed vegetables. I got dessert this time! Creme brulee with berries - a traditional nutmeg custard.
We also walked around the upper floors and in the gardens. The ambience is magical.
EXCELLENT!! Cooked perfectly. Yes, they have Gluten-Free. We were just passing through and looked it up online. We'll remember it when we come through Independence again.
Experience unique interactive dining with personalized hibachi choices and a fun atmosphere that makes special occasions memorable.

We enjoyed eating here. There are gluten-free options. My son has autism, and he tried rice again and decided he liked it. He got to choose what he wanted in his hibachi. Great experience there. He got to gong the gong! It cost us almost $100 for 3 people to eat and drink an ice tea. So a bit pricey, but ok for once a year on my birthday.
Cozy vibes and a romantic ambiance make this Italian spot a must-visit, with amazing reviews on the overall experience.

I met with some friends there on Sunday 5/4 for the brunch buffet. The decor is quite dated (50’s to 70’s), dark with glass and brass, which was nostalgic for me. All of the buffet food was room temp, which was quite disappointing and unpleasant (especially the hollandaise, it really affected the texture). The plate of various meats that were brought to the table were warm but very overcooked. I also found the seasoning very inconsistent, some things needed salt, other things had too much salt. Our server, Cheryl, was fantastic, attentive and friendly. The bathroom was quite small and difficult to move around in if you were in there with another person. They were also down some steep stairs. One of my party has mobility issues and didn’t feel safe using them. Another of my party needed Gluten Free and there wasn’t much available to her, the server kindly offered to bring her some ice cream. This was overall a disappointing experience considering it was $30.
I am a Celiac, strict gluten free food, and preparing, seating. Seating environment , especially during covid, clean. My husband and I went for a basic steak and fries. Service very good. Food delicious. Only a few restaurants can pass the Celiac test. Great job 54th Street. Thank you.
Every time I eat here it is such a good experience. Although it is family-friendly dining, it still has a quaint and romantic atmosphere to it. The food is delicious, and the wait staff always does a nice job. I developed a food allergy which they were so happy to check on things with the chef for me to make sure I was accommodated safely. If I remember correctly, they also have gluten-free options on the menu. This is a great place for a date, or a special occasion. I don't think you could be disappointed! If you have young children you may want to divert their attention away from the bar area to the right as you walk in. A beautiful classic artwork replica covers the wall with a nude picture of Venus. ;)

Was so looking forward to eating here, but was greatly disappointed. I have food allergies/intolerances and checked the menu out prior to going. I verified online that the pad Thai was gluten and dairy free. I made it clear that I could not have these things and verified that with the staff that the pad Thai was in fact gluten and dairy free. I should have known when the cooks were not confident with their answer. Instead I went ahead and got the food. It was super spicy with basically on omelet on top. Within 10 minutes of eating I got horrible stomach pains. I am confident that they were not careful when cooking my food. I will never eat here again.

We had my moms 60th birthday at 3 trails and they catered our event! Their pizza and salads were delicious but I really loved the little details. They were able to accommodate gluten free and dairy free options! I had asked prior if they could make little signs as to what ingredient was in each pizza and they made the cutest little signs! There customer service was beyond amazing! Everyone said the pizza were delicious!

Today was my first visit to McAlister’s- I am allergic to gluten and soy (which is in nearly everything)! And a gentleman stood there and helped me step by step to assure my salad was safe to eat. Thank you to him and to everyone else who participated in preparing my food! You are all amazing!
Quality and flavor stand out here, plus the convenience of a drive-through makes this spot a must-try!

The food here is so good! We just found this place a few days ago and have already gone twice! I’m genuinely impressed with the quality and flavor of the food. They also have gluten free soy sauce so they can make most of their dishes gluten free, which was huge for the hubs! I can’t believe they also have a drive through!
So i will be coming back for sure! Recently I am having to have soy and gluten free They list allergens on sign next to each flavor. And they even have dairy free options if you need.
A standout experience with exceptional attention to detail, ensuring a comfortable dining vibe for everyone involved.

We could not have had a better experience! The waiter was so helpful and kind, and the food was great. I got a dish with broccoli, and it was green, fresh, and tasty. I have a gluten allergy, and the manager came over to our table and told me they were going to change gloves, make sure everything was handled properly, and they would take good care of me. I felt so safe, and I did not get sick later, so I know they did a great job. I was SO SO SO impressed and happy! For anyone with a food allergy, eating out can be a scary and isolating experience, but I was so pleased with how everything was handled. I will definitely be back! ❤️ The other people I was with were also very happy with their food. A+
Although my order of gluten-free pizza came out burned on the edges, they were professional about making me a new one and compensating me with a free order of chicken wings. Their gluten-free pizza was very good- it is similar to the thin crust pizza. I wouldn't have guessed it was gluten-free if I hadn't known it already. 👍

My family loves this place! The servers are always super nice and the prices are great. I wish they had more options that were dairy and gluten free and/or had an allergens menu. However, overall you can't beat this place if you love seafood and you live in a landlocked state!
