They have great gluten free and vegan options. Servers were very helpful when I forgot to order gluten free bun. Deviled eggs were a little spicy, which we enjoyed. Onion rings were yummy. Overall it is a good local burger place.
Ethiopian cuisine shines here with a cozy vibe, generous portions, and unique charm, making it a one-of-a-kind experience in Asheville.

We had a great dinner at Addissae tonight. We ordered the vegetarian platter for two and everything was delicious. The staff were gracious and we had the pleasure of chatting with the owner after dinner. I was really pleased to learn their injeera was gluten-free, as well, since many restaurants use wheat blends. We’ll be back often!

I’ve been coming here for the gluten free donuts for a few years. This morning I ordered a decaf coffee drink to go with them. I didn’t notice on the menu it said 4oz which was the size of a shot glass. That is my fault for not noticing it and it actually made me laugh when it came out. I was going to learn my lesson and drink this tiny drink. However, after trying it the decaf was burnt and gross. Instead of asking her to remake it, I asked for half a cup of steamed milk to combine it with to cancel out the burnt flavor and make it bigger. The barista was rude and told me she’d have to charge me for the milk, which I pushed back on. Eventually she gave me the milk but her anger while making it made me uncomfortable and upset. Most places would offer to make a new drink for you, not fight you over 1/2 cup of steamed milk. Normally, the staff here has been nice so maybe it was an off day but it makes me want to stick to just donuts next time.

My hands down FAV place in Asheville for lunch. The Reuben in gluten free bread is FANTASTIC! With gluten restrictions in my diet, I was over the moon to find a place that offered this- only place I have EVER found a gluten free Reuben. The corner beef is lean, juicy, and DELISH! I always ask for extra pickles on the side, and they oblige with no problem. Fast, friendly, and fresh! Lots of great sides too, which change daily. I have never had ANYTHING from there that was bad. And, they are reasonably priced for AVL. They also offer half sandwiches too for a lighter appetite. Do yourself a favor and grab some lunch there next time you're in town!
Expect an eclectic menu showcasing local ingredients, where culinary literacy is key, but process issues may affect your experience.

I arranged a 25 person dinner for a corporate group here in May 2024. We held it in the private event room in the back of the building. Everything was excellent! The correspondence via email in the weeks leading up to the event were timely and professional. The private room was perfect, and the staff was extremely attentive. THE FOOD!!! *chef's kiss* - I had so many compliments on how great it was! I would issue a 10,000 star rating for the banana pudding especially. I had two attendees with special dietary needs (vegetarian and gluten free) and they were not only accommodated for but provided equally delicious food. Highly recommend Rhubarb for a group event.
Enjoy vibrant murals and a welcoming atmosphere, perfect for a relaxed time, though parking can be a bit tricky.

The brisket is to die for it. On their sign they specifically state that they are gluten free with their meats and sauces. Absolutely love that. The brisket was smokey, not too fatty and so tender. I really also liked their coleslaw. It is the only gluten free side, wish they had other options but I'm happy they have something.
This spot in Asheville boasts a cool vibe and an impressive variety of dishes, making it a must-visit for diverse dietary preferences.

Really fresh tasting. I am a celiac vegetarian and found a number of options available. The green tomato gazpacho was really good and the goat cheese corn pie was also fresh and great tasting. Would definitely recommend this is you have either gluten free or vegetarian needs. The meat eater with us had the slow cooked brisket and said it was the bomb.

My husband and I had an incredible experience for dinner. Highly recommend sitting at the bar - the service from our bartender Xavier and the manager Julian were top tier, their service and hospitality made our night. Everyone who brought our food was friendly, knowledgeable and the food spoke for itself. I can't stop thinking about the Japanese sweet potato. Great gluten free options as well. Can't wait to come back!

Excellent customer service from Jacob! He knows the menu very well and gave us Gluten Free options too. The pork bun was fantastic and the BBQ sauce on it should be bottled and sold! So good!!! I definitely recommend this local gem for bao buns.
So good!!! This restaurant was recommended by a friend and I'm glad I could get there during my visit. I also appreciated the gluten free options available.
Expect a cozy atmosphere with top-tier service and a great culinary journey that leaves you fully satisfied.

Clean and tasty, except the duck noodle soup is not served with scallion as advertised, and it uses the same broth that cooks the dumplings. Not gluten free. Four slices of duck in a bowl half filled with noodles, bok choy, and broth.

The food in Yalla is delicious! It is authentic, the real deal of Mediterranean food. I love the atmosphere, the music, and the people. It's a perfect spot to hang out with friends and enjoy amazing Hummus or any other dish on the menu. Highly recommended for everyone. Great for vegetarians and gluten-free people like me.

Such a fun place with amazing food! We got the wonton soup and my youngest ate every last drop. The lamb kabobs and kimchi were great. The fried rice was good and the korean seafood noodles were delicious and spicy. But the winner for our family was the ma li tang (mung bean noodles). They are gluten free and do not cause any reaction the way white rice or oats can for some people. The sauce was amazing. I had mine with tofu, my kids with chicken and it was like a hug in a bowl! My husband and I are learning Chinese and heard the owner is from China so.....
