I enjoyed a.lovely lunch here with my daughter. They had a separate allergens menu for me as I am a Coeliac. The gluten free selection was fairly extensive. They do charge a bit more for gluten free but I guess this is understandable as some.items cost more. The food was of good standard and well.presented. The staff seemed friendly.and fairly knowledgeable. They have a book swap.library if.you fancy a read while eating. They catered well for families. The seating was varied from standard tables and chairs to comfy sofas and arm chairs. A good experience overall. Thanks

Nice food and very accommodating of my gluten free diet. However, 45 minutes after we placed our order, there was no sign of our food. I asked the waitress and it turned out our ticket had been 'lost'. The waitress apologised and our food came promptly afterwards. Of course, I fully understand that mistakes happen - we are all human! However, I was surprised that we were not offered any compensation and that we were still expected to pay service charge. Furthermore, we had to chase for the bill and eventually ended up walking around the restaurant to find a member of staff to take the payment. The meal was lovely, but I really was not impressed by the service. I have heard of many friends who've had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant, so perhaps this is just a one off!

Excellent everything! The best bit was that they accommodate gluten free diets brilliantly! I managed to get a whole roast with gluten free Yorkshire pudding and gravy!! Which is so rare! They are going above and beyond so I really appreciated it

Great Experience in Pizza express Amersham. The staff who served were amazing. Very good with knowing Allergens and very friendly. The selection was great on top of being able to select a pizza of choice but have it done Gluten Free. Also found out all the flour they use is Gluten free so it is safe for Celiac's too. Great Service and will definitely be going back to this particular PE.

We went to the Artichoke in Amersham for our Wedding Anniversary on the 31st May '23. Food, service and ambience were fantastic. I do just want to highlight one specific thing that reflects really well on the restaurant and was dealt with brilliantly: I have Coeliac Disease which means I cannot eat anything with gluten in it. I rang the restaurant beforehand and they assured me they could provide me with gluten free food. Reassure, when we arrived, we chose the tasting menu and whilst there were a few changes, they provided me with a delicious and gluten free version of the tasting menu. My wife had the normal version and it was interesting to see the differences (very minor). I really appreciated the extra effort the front of house team and the chefs made to achieve a gluten free experience for me. Thank you, really well done. It shows the quality and professionalism of a place when that kind of effort is put in for one diner.
