I arrived late in the evening (after a long journey up the M1 .. ) for a solo dinner and the warm, friendly welcome made me feel immediately at ease. I ordered a frites steak and glass of prosecco (which I chose from their extensive gluten free menu). I felt very well looked after and enjoyed the 80s music (being a gen x 😀) and candle lit ambience. The food was great and I will definitely recommend Claro Lounge to the other guests at the Renewal conference I'm at this weekend. Thank you guys for taking care of me this evening.

One of the most warmly welcoming places I've stayed. The service is excellent. Staff are lovely. The food is good too and they cater well for those of us who eat gluten free.
Sad that we had to remind them of the chips we ordered which came after we were halfway through our main. Coffee good. Wasn't clear about gluten free options. Looks a good menu though

Great bar and atmosphere, drinks are good with lots of choice. Saturday night food was lacking, menu different to online, hardly any gluten free options as everything is cooked in the same fryer. The pie would have made this a 5 star review had ot have been cooked properly and not just a cooked top with raw pastry underneath, brought to the attention of the waitress who said "oh yeah sorry" and that was the end of the conversation. Will be back for drinks but wouldn't bother with food.
