Came for brunch on my birthday 9/9 and I am so happy we did!! Our experience was definitely 10/10!! I ordered an espresso martini my way, and the bartender executed the cocktail perfectly! Start with the cariar dip and pork belly/Gruyère omelette (the dip was soo good and I’ve never had an omelette so fluffy in my life) we also got the cheeseburger (which my husband devoured) and the flounder dish (I have a gluten allergy, and they were graciously accommodating). Our waiter was outstanding, and to top it off, Kim came around and made our already amazing experience even better! This was our first visit, but now The Girl & The Fig has made its way on our go to Napa/Sonoma list every time we are there! I can’t wait to go back!
Expect a vibrant atmosphere with unique outdoor seating, personal heaters, and a popular menu that keeps locals coming back for more.

Loveeee Sunflower Caffe! 🌻 Such a great vibe, offered blankets and outside heaters on their back patio. Their gluten free bread is SO GOOD! I got the grilled ham & cheese, 10/10 will be back and definitely recommend if you’re visiting Sonoma and looking for a great breakfast or lunch!
This cozy spot impresses with generous portions, a delightful atmosphere, and a variety of options, making it perfect for brunch lovers.

Baker & Cook is the best! My partner can’t have gluten due to an allergy, and their gluten free options are our favorite probably in the whole world?
Great food, great coffee, incredibly friendly staff. Can’t say enough great things about this gem.

Stopped in with our large group again this year...food was good but not as incredible as the price implies. Gluten free options were fairly lifeless, which was unexpected considering the restaurant's pedigree.
Glutinous options were good but not mind blowing. High point was probably the beverages, which were novel and quite delectable.
Very attentive servers and support staff, and the place itself could be considered 'Very cute'. There may be some implication of small size within that descriptor, but it's more long and narrow, which conveys a homey comfortable feel.
We'll probably be back again next year.
Thanks for all of your hard work!

I don't like leaving bad reviews but I ordered a tuna melt on gluten free bread here and the sandwich was a paltry size at best.
I understand the gluten free bread slices are just smaller than the other types of bread but this sandwich was child-sized and not satisfying for me.
If they had plated two of these smaller sandwiches or offered a soup or side dish, I would've been much happier.
Instead, I finished in about 4 bites, then bought a second lunch at another restaurant.
Charming spot with a laid-back vibe, perfect for a quality bite when you're not too hungry; don't miss the amazing fried oysters and shrimp tostada!

Our favorite spot in town! Easily on par with all the best places in SF. Diner vibes but with high-end farm-to-table food. Beautiful views out back. Highly recommend the spritz if you’re looking for a wine break. All the food is fantastic and most can be made gluten free (even the fish and chips). Also lowkey the burger is incredible

Love, love, LOVE this sweet little shop with tasty, freshly prepared breakfasts and lunches but the standout stars are the baked goods. Each one is even more delicious than the one before. Croissants, muffins, scones, and even gluten free items my friends swear by. Highest quality in a cozy setting.

I really enjoyed having dinner here. Their whipped feta and beet dip was so so good. They make a grain bowl that is filling and delicious. Fresh ingredients, gluten free options 👏

I have been to Valley twice this year. This is a stellar experience all around. The food and wine are divine. I have a gluten free diet restriction and many of their entrees and sides are gluten free. One of the plates I got was Roasted Stone Fruit with Ricotta. The flavors and textures were wonderful. My partner and I shared the Lamb dish, and he raved about it. This type of restaurant fits me because they have a lot of shareable plates. It is a small menu that changes (apparently).

Layla Restaurant is a hidden gem in Sonoma; we so appreciated the lovely ambience and delicious food, without having to leave town. We enjoyed leisurely cocktails, flavorful meals and great service on the peaceful, tree shaded patio as the sun was going down.
My husband has celiac disease, and our server asked about food allergies as soon as we were seated. There are several GF options on the menu, which was a treat. We started with well-crafted cocktails, probably the best vodka gimlet I've had in years. (For those who don't do alcohol, there is an interesting selection of mock-tails.) The salads looked very generous, but we decided (with the help of our server) to have the roasted brussel sprouts along with our entrees, that also included some veggies. The salmon and the scallops entries were cooked perfectly. The GF birthday dessert was heavenly.
The patio cooled down as the sun set, and I wished I had brought a light jacket. However, there were two types of patio heaters and the one on wheels worked perfectly to take off the chill. If you're a local or a visitor, you'll be sure to have a memorable experience at Layla's!

Excellent! We had the Don Chava burger (burger and bbq pulled pork), it was so good. I had mine on gluten free bread, delicious. We love everything about Picazo Cafe. I’ve been going there for a few years now and the remodel looks fantastic! The food, service and atmosphere is exactly what I’m looking for in a restaurant.

Great Sandwiches!!! I went in with no expectations, after all it’s a roadside deli next to a gas station.
You fill out your own order form from a table near the door and hand it off at the counter, then wander back through a convenience store area to choose a drink, chips, or candy, which takes you to another counter where you pay. Very casual.
I was able to buy a small bottle of local sparkling wine, I know it was lunchtime, but we were in Napa so I felt it a moral imperative.
The sandwiches were fresh and stuffed to capacity. The gluten free bread was soft and fresh tasting. (Not dry like gf often is) The accoutrements, like avocados, lettuce, and tomato were cool and fresh.
We were both pleasantly surprised.
Jacob's has become my "go-to" lunch... I order the gluten-free pizza and my wife actually prefers their crust above all others. Also the Gyro is insanely wonderful. The dinner entrees look very intriguing. Also try his Merlot - Phenominal!

A fantastic lunch experience. Sitting at the bar was entertaining, really could be called the chef’s table. They were also quite knowledgeable about which items were gluten-free or could be made gluten-free.
Everything was delicious. Will be going back in the future to try other dishes.
Dear god, these were amazing!!! Also, they have gluten free options for my wife (who loves hers as well). Ignore what Google shows for the hours, they are also open during the week.
Great food. Too much cheese though. Their beans make me bloated, which is odd. Maybe they need to soak their beans first.. IDK. They don’t have rice if you happen to be a rice person. Fresh, homemade tortillas and amazing chips made from those same tortillas. I really miss the squash enchiladas. And why not make the beer battered fish tacos gluten free?! It would be easy!

A wonderful cafe bringing the Scandinavian spirit to Sonoma. From tea, to coffee, to hot chocolate they have you covered. Great espresso, pastries (even gluten free options) are made in-house and they have godis (Swedish candy)!
Update: more Swedish pastries are coming!

Excellent and our favorite from now on. The service was very helpful catering to our needs and substitutions, gluten free, mild or no spicy…we usually go around 1:30 pm and have no problem finding a table…
With an amazing crust and unforgettable flavors, this place is a must-visit for those in search of a memorable dining experience.

We have been searching for good gluten free pizza. This is the most amazing gluten free pizza and salad! Terrific! The memory of the flavors stayed with us for hours! Outstanding!!
This is the most amazing place to eat! I am impressed and I am a difficult person to impress. The food is authentic and fresh. Being gluten free and finding a phenomenal large corn tortilla is like finding diamonds. Can I give it six stars?
Great spot, enjoyed the ambiance was a little bummed about the in between menu. But what we tried made up for it. I tried the deviled eggs, my bf has a gluten allergy and the Korean style short ribs were the only gluten free option, he loved them. The drinks were great, food tasty and the service spectacular. Now that we know there's an in between menu well plan for dinner, or lunch.
Wish they offered more gluten free items, but husband had the gf chocolate cake and enjoyed it very much. I tried the raspberry almond tart and it was delicious.
A cozy hidden gem loved by locals for its amazing vibes and delicious offerings, perfect for a relaxed getaway.

Rustic chic, food is 10/10. I’m still dreaming about the cauliflower appetizer. You know you’re doing something right when you have 8 girls from Chicago absolutely drooling over the pizza. Very accommodating to the gluten free folks out there. Every app, meal, dessert was an experience of its own.
Because it’s Napa they can get away with the simple rustic chic but I’d like to see this place add some spice to the ambiance so it’s not just another Napa/ Sonoma restaurant vibe.
Best lunch menu in Sonoma. My friend and I had both had a generous portion shrimp salad. Also ask for gluten free salad dressing
I've been eating lunch and dinner at many restaurants in Sonoma over years and find The Depot has always served the best lunches and dinners. We plan to return next month for family birthday party reunion.
I recommend the Depot for lunch and dinner. It is the best in Sonoma. Also a delightful waiter served us made it a pleasure to be there.
Nice place, inviting environment, very friendly and welcoming staff.
I am celiac and had a chat with the waiter about eating gluten free. He seemed knowledgeable and the menu was well-marked, but they still served me an item with gluten anyway without realizing it, (the fries, no dedicated fryer), and didn’t seem concerned some of them came out touching the burger. When they did bring out a substitute item for the fries, a salad, it was literally just lettuce. Not a single other vegetable, which felt pretty bootleg for such a high end place. (The dressing was fire though).
Also, the meal felt extremely rushed to our group, like they were trying to speed us out of there for the next wave of customers. Dessert menu came over before our plates were cleared, even though the restaurant wasn’t even full.
Finally, a lot of the reviews note this is kid friendly, and it definitely is. However, the playground is essentially just a tall slide with a ladder to climb up, so not ideal for smaller kiddos.
